ANVIL OF CONCORDIA
Objective: Trade - Location: Concordia

The Anvil of Concordia breathed with industry. Every corridor pulsed with the rhythm of reactors, every viewport spilled the fire of Concordia's forges into the void. The station was not dressed up for this gathering—it was the gathering, a sovereign nexus of commerce and war-forged resolve, the embodiment of what Mandalore could make when ambition was tempered into steel.

The Verd'okar Chamber, the Iron View, set the stage. Its transparisteel wall opened onto Concordia's scarred surface, where furnaces burned like captured suns and rivers of molten ore fed the endless hunger of the refineries. Above them, skeletal starships hung in tractor beams, each piece of durasteel locked into place with slow inevitability. It was not a spectacle designed to impress outsiders, but an unflinching statement: here, Mandalore shaped raw stone into industry, and industry into power.

At the chamber's center stood the obsidian table, its beskar veins catching the dim light, its surface alive with faintly glowing schematics of Mandalorian-controlled hyperlanes. Along the edges, holofeeds traced production tallies, shipping manifests, and fleet patrol reports. The chairs around it were blackened steel bound in hard leather, built not for comfort but for vigilance.

Above the Mand'alor's place rotated the sigil of Mandalore itself, crimson and gold, its glow catching across the chamber like firelight. Around its edges shimmered the crests of allied Houses—Verd, Kryze, Ordo, and more—a quiet reminder that this station was not only an industrial hub, but the banner of a people united. That sigil was why the Confederation delegation had come, and why they listened now.

Each figure seated across the table carried weight enough to shift the terms of the galaxy. Amalia Visconti | Mira Rhory Amalia Visconti | Mira Rhory brought the financial engine of N&Z Umbrella, her influence able to turn Mandalorian ambition into a fixture of markets across the sector. Her Her sat cloaked in the weight of doctrine, a reminder that Confederation policy was never without ideological reach. Karl Von Strauss Karl Von Strauss , battle-scarred and iron-backed, embodied the Confederation's martial legitimacy, his presence a tacit recognition of Mandalore's strength. Nolle Tron Nolle Tron , sharp and deliberate, measured outputs and margins with the precision of a blade, her mind already tallying the gains to be had. Ronhar Tane Ronhar Tane , massive and augmented, represented the hard edge of enforcement—the certainty that Confederation promises were made not only in ink but in iron.

At the table's flank stood Siv Kryze Siv Kryze , Warden of Concordia, whose efforts had made the Anvil not just a foundry but a forum. His silence was deliberate. The chamber itself was his opening argument—the hum of reactors beneath, the endless scroll of figures across the holofeeds, the glow of the sigil turning overhead.

And presiding above all was Mand'alor Aether Verd Aether Verd , the Iron himself, whose command had called the Confederation here. It was his vision that had steered Mandalore from isolation into commerce, his authority that bound Houses and warriors alike to defend it. The Confederation delegation did not sit at Mandalore's table to be courted. They sat because Mandalore had chosen to show them the future—and because its Warden and its Mand'alor expected them to decide whether they would share in it.

"Imperial Corrections Directorate (ICD) are responsible for the incarceration, detainment and imprisonment of criminals in The Imperial Confederation. If someone is classified as a criminal and subsequently captured for their crimes then they are passed by the military or security divisions within the Confederation over to the ICD to serve time in the many prison complexes built on Imperial occupied worlds. In some cases the ICD are tasked with the executions of people deemed guilty for such a severe punishment."
-- A description of the Imperial Corrections Directorate, headed by the mysterious Warden Primus colloquially known to a few as Her Her .

The Dark Lord of the Sith, masquerading as the Warden Primus of the Imperial Corrections Directorate, stood in the Anvil of Concordia as a representative to the Commission for the Establishment of Civilian Interests as negotiations were set to begin between the Confederate-Imperial delegation-- dispatched from New Aldera-- to establish trade rights with the rising Mandalorian Empire that were set to decide or determine politics, policy and commerce along the Outer Rim systems for the next decade at the beginning of the ninth-century.

Concealed by her powers in the Dark Side of the Force (Art of the Small), Her was enamoured with insight and cunning while her associates from the nascent Imperial Confederation took their places to begin the summit opposed by the indomitable, faceless mask of conquerors epitomized by Siv Kryze Siv Kryze who had orchestrated these proceedings following insights given to them by the likes of Onrai Onrai and their inquiries into possible relations with the Mandalorian Empire and the Imperial Remnants during Imperial Unity Gala.

Her had not taken a seat at the table where negotiations were set to begin in earnest. Instead, they had elected to stand at the Iron View, with their back turned to both delegations as her crimson eyes lowered to the scarred, yet renewed surface of Mandalore below her. These negotiations were set to be argued and decided by her associates from the COMECI, N&Z Umbrella Corporation and Imperial Ruling Council while her presence was to be kept minimal at best, with a seat and place at this trade summit nevertheless afforded with thanks to the formation of the ICD and her retained membership of the commission who held oversight on the Directorate.

Trade, commerce and the flow of credits were of interest to the Dark Lord if not for the ulterior motives they afforded to her. What intrigued the enigmatic woman, as she stood at the edges of the summit to look upon space and the Mandalorian homeworld beneath her, were the politics at play that one could summarize and manipulate to suit her agenda concerning the Thandon Star Cluster.

In Imperial homespace, the clandestine Project Tion was in full swing, with new technological advancements set to be unveiled by the N&Z and a resurgent Santhe Corporation (headed by Eirys Santhe Eirys Santhe ) that would bring renewal to the armed military and naval forces situated under the command of Supreme Commander, Marlon Sularen Marlon Sularen . While Brosi had ended in the Imperial defeat, the dye had nevertheless been caste, with opening warfare between the Confederation and Sith vassal state now in full swing.

Could the Mandalorian Empire become a key participant in the next Imperial campaign?

It was too early to suggest or to even bend the narrative of Mandalorian-Imperial co-operation to fit the agenda concerning the Sith Holy Worlds and Corporate Sector territories which were held by strongholds under the command of a junta of Sith Lords in service to the Dark Council and the dreaded Worm Emperor from Jutrand, but the potential was, to her eye, there considering the bloodied past between the Mandalorian Clans and their Sith adversaries which stretched all the way back to when the latter had first revealed themselves as a survivor of the Four-Hundred Year Darkness over seventy-years ago.

But first these negotiations would have to sorted out, shifted through and agreements to be written into treaty or contract before such avenues of politics could be explored when regarding the Mandalorians and the butcherer who had desecrated their homeland just neigh of a half-century ago of whom the enigmatic woman, whose eyes admired the construction projects of a rejuvenated Mandalore, so loathed in her own right . . .

Amalia straightened her tie, tightened her gloves as she smirked, looking over the table and tilting her head a bit to observe exactly who she'd be dealing with. She felt a certain feeling of power, a feeling of superiority, not because of her own abilities or even her own strength, but because she had someone standing behind her, like a shadow in the night... but in that case the most obvious and most noticeable shadow possible, considering the strange attire her companion was wearing, not to mention the inhumanly vibrant eyes visible through the slits of the mask they wore. The individual in question would also be well known by Her Her , as it was the ICD which was used as the secondary cover for the maneuvring of this individual within the Imperial Confederation under the monniker of 'The Dealmaker'.

Still, in her capacity of Chief Executive Officer of the Nargath and Zanareth Umbrella Corporation, she now had the controlling power over both parts of the company which had been slowly grinding its way back to the very top of its game, right here and right now, the N&Z was a surefire bet to gain access to one's wildest dreams, and with her at the helm...morals once again were not going too much of a problem to those who knew how to reach into the dark heart of the massive industrial conglomeration.

She was being flanked by some who were quite aware of the very power which had been thrust into her hands, Her Her , Karl Von Strauss Karl Von Strauss and by some who didn't like Ronhar Tane Ronhar Tane and Nolle Tron Nolle Tron all with a strange singular purpose: to try and find an agreement with the Mandalorians, a rather interesting thing when one of the factions the N&Z operated in had recently begun finding themselves in a series of altercations with them. In lieu of this Amalia calmly watched the Mandalorians present at this meeting, with both Siv Kryze Siv Kryze and Aether Verd Aether Verd representing the Mandalorian empire.

Knowing that they'd probably wished to be the first to talk, to effectively start these talks, Amalia's face did something rather strange (at least to those who knew her more intimately than these mandos) as the corners of her lips slowly seemed to slightly curve upwards, revealing her pearly white teeth partially, with her slightly oversized incisers showing, her eyes showing a devious, somewhat dangerous twinkle within them. It was time to see what these Mandos were cooking...

The blonde and simply-dressed Vanessa Vantai peacefully took her seat at the negotiating meeting. While she had been the one to proffer the suggestion of a visit to Mandalorian space and a deepening of Imperial ties with their former foes, the meeting had blown up into a full conclave between the Mandalorians and the Imperial Confederation's leadership. Frankly, she was surprised that it had become at the level it had developed to. She had already made it clear to the new Mandalore, the son of a former foe, what it was that she had to offer, particularly for the reinvigoration of Mandalorian systems - specifically, their homeworld itself.

For the time being, she would remain quiet unless her particular topic of expertise was brought up.

CAPTAIN RONHAR TANE, TK-3301
VERD'OKAR CHAMBER
CONCORDIA

Ronhar was almost impressed by all the pomp and circumstance surrounding the trade negotiations on Concordia. Almost.

Once again, the outsized influence exerted by Ronhar had landed him a spot in a conference he would normally have no business attending: the Anvil of Concordia. The mighty Mandalorian Empire had sought to do business with the nascent Imperial Confederation, and there was no way in the galaxy that Ronhar would be missing such an important event. To that purpose. Victport Graras had entrusted Ronhar with the powers needed to secure a trade deal between the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant and the Mandalorians, regardless of what the official Imperial position was. After all, the Mandalorians were no strangers to war and conflict, and they were bound to have massive stockpiles of vehicles and starships that could certainly use scrapping...

As Ronhar sat among the various members of Imperial leadership, his eyes glanced around the room toward the hosts of the conference. Seated before him was Siv Kryze Siv Kryze , the so called Warden of Concordia, and the King of the Mandalorians himself, Aether Verd Aether Verd . It was the first time Ronhar had ever seen Mandalorians, yet alone meet them in the flesh, and he had to admit that they were a rather imposing and intimidating sight to behold. Ronhar wondered if there might be a way to secure a DNA sample of either man, as they would surely make excellent genetic templates for the cloning machine back on Mahporeem. Of course, Ronhar would never do anything so brash or so bold to directly endanger the safety of his fellow Imperials or their chances of securing some type of trade deal. Nonetheless, it made for a tempting possibility if Ronhar could somehow discreetly collect such a sample.

Regardless, Ronhar was especially eager to hear tales of how the Mandalorians combated force users, especially Jedi and Sith. Their legendary reputation certainly proceeded them, and Ronhar sincerely hoped he might be able to acquire additional forms of anti-force technology from the Mandalorians, whether it was just for today or for a long term deal. Really though, what Ronhar wanted most of all was a steady supply of the galaxy's most famous and durable material...beskar!

If Ronhar could do that, it would be the crowning achievement of his fledgling business career. The potential applications of such a material were neatly endless, and acquisition of a steady supply of it would enable Mahporeem to engage in all manner of projects it had merely dreamed about attempting. Of course, the odds that the Mandalorians would part with even the slightest amount of beskar was quite low...but not entirely zero. Ronhar would do what he could to get some, if not for the Confederation, than at least for himself!

Ronhar waited for his fellow Imperials to begin negotiations, as though he had earned himself a seat for today, he still did not wish to insult anyone present by being the first to open things up, as his rank of Captain still made him mindful of the Imperial and Mandalorian chain of command.

Karl sat in a seat that was directly across from the Mandalorian delegates. He was not looking at them; he was watching the planet below them. He watched the furnaces toil and the ebb and flow of the molten ore, while others would see a vast industry that projected, no, made power; he saw beauty. After all, he was an engineer, and the planet below was beautiful. He turned back to the rest of the delegation, Imperials and Mandalorians alike, and placed his hands on the table. He resituated his posture. Karl gave a gracious inclination of his head before speaking.

"Mand'alor Verd. Warden Kryze. On behalf of the Imperial Confederation, I extend our gratitude for receiving us here upon the Anvil of Concordia. It is no small thing to be welcomed here in Mandalorian space, and we do not mistake your courtesy for weakness. We recognized it for what it is: strength and respect."

Karl's words were deliberate; he didn't use exhausting political language or flattery. His words were carefully chosen to convey understanding. Mandalorians were not politicians, nor were they of the numerous trade guilds; they, at least to Karl's knowledge, were people who valued deeds and truth over rhetoric and honeyed promises.

"The Confederation does not come to dictate, nor to posture. We come to discuss trade, contracts that not only serve Mandalorian interests, but also our own. Your culture, your people are warriors, but no warrior thrives without supply. Ours is a Confederation of many worlds, many industries..." He said, motioning towards Amalia, "...and we are prepared to open those markets. Durasteel for durasteel, goods for goods, strength for strength."

He allowed himself the faintest of nods, letting the words breathe before continuing. He looked at the table before him; it carried no excess trappings, no softened edges. It was an appropriate place to set the foundations of an agreement between Empires that would need to be as strong as the wall around them.

Karl leaned back slightly in his chair, "So, let us speak plainly. Where can the Confederation serve the needs of Mandalore, and where can Mandalore serve the needs of the Confederation? If we can answer that, then this table becomes more than metal and wood; it becomes the forge of a partnership."

Though the Confederation did not consider the meeting with the Corporate Interest Guild a failure, Nolle was less than happy with the outcome. As such she entered this meeting with the Mandalorians with less gusto. Firstly, it was the Mandalorians who had initiated this meeting. Their home was the setting. Nolle wasn't sure if commerce had the same machinations in the warrior culture as she was trying to present in the Imperial culture. As such she sat back and let things happen.

The venue was impressive of course. Perhaps more so to those of the party who participated in war and didn't just see such actions as credits in and credits out. Most of the time credits went out more than in. The tapestries representing the unified clans of Mandalore were also impressive. This was indeed an Empire. One of a different sort than the one Nolle hoped to contribute to. And the Emperor, in this case Mand'alor, sad front and center for this meeting. Nolle wondered if he would take control or allow his Warden to run the meeting.

It seemed the other members of the Confederation's retinue were of the same tactic as Nolle was. She doubted it was because they were afraid, or that they were not sure what sort of business arrangements the Mandalorian Empire would seek to enter into. Nolle guessed the others were just letting the warriors make the first move.

Finally, it was Exarch Von Strauss who broke the ice. Thanking the Mandalorians for hosting the meeting. Right away appealing to the Mandalorian desire for strength and hate of weakness. He didn't give away any of the Confederations strength in acknowledging that of the Mandalorians and continued to state that the Confederation was here to open lines of commerce. It was a good speech, a wise start. Now Nolle's attention turned to their hosts and what their response would be.

ANVIL OF CONCORDIA
Siv Kryze stood at the edge of the obsidian table, helmeted, still, and precise. The Anvil of Concordia thrummed beneath the chamber, its hum a constant reminder of Mandalore's capacity. The sigil above glowed red and gold across the room, casting a warm light over the steel-veined table and the holofeeds scrolling production, fleet, and hyperlane data. His gaze swept over the Confederation delegation, noting posture, hesitation, and focus—not with judgment, but assessment.

When he spoke, the vocoder filtered his voice evenly, carrying authority without aggression. "Exarch, Prefects, representatives," he began, "Mand'alor Verd has convened this meeting not as ceremony, but as opportunity. The Anvil beneath you, the fleets above, the forges below—these are the tools of our strength. They exist not for display, but as proof of what Mandalore can offer as partner, as ally, and as collaborator in shared ventures."

He tapped the obsidian table lightly, a subtle punctuation. "The Confederation seeks access to Mandalore's military technology, fleet expertise, and industrial capacity. These are not trivial offerings. We are prepared to provide them—but such capabilities must be matched by clarity and commitment from all parties. A partnership is forged in mutual benefit, in understanding the value of what each brings to the table, not in posturing or empty promises."

Siv allowed a beat of silence, letting the hum of reactors and the glow of the sigil underscore his words. Then he gestured toward the holofeeds. "These records reflect Mandalore's reach: production flows, fleet readiness, and controlled hyperlanes. They demonstrate both capacity and precision. If the Confederation identifies where it requires support, we will provide it. If Mandalore identifies what is gained in return, we will accept it. The goal is simple: a framework for cooperation that is measurable, actionable, and sustainable."

He tilted his head slightly toward the assembled delegates, still unreadable behind the helmet. "Speak plainly. Specify your requirements, propose your terms, and let us shape an agreement that benefits both Mandalore and the Confederation. We do not demand deference—we demand practicality, commitment, and results. The Anvil is ready. The question is whether your intentions are as ready as ours."

Siv remained still, letting the chamber, the fleets, and the hum of Concordia amplify the point: Mandalore offered expertise, but only to those willing to respect its worth.

ANVIL OF CONCORDIA

The glow of the crimson sigil washed over his armor as Aether Verd lifted his gaze from the schematics that ran across the obsidian table. His voice carried evenly across the chamber, each syllable sharpened with purpose yet measured so that no word felt wasted.

“Exarch Von Strauss, your words are heard, and the clarity with which you frame them is not lost. You recognize what this place stands for, and you have answered it with respect rather than flattery, which is something Mandalore has always valued above polished speeches. You call for plain speaking, and you will have it. This station exists not to impress guests but to stand as proof of what our hands can shape when our Houses act with one will. That truth belongs to Mandalore, but it is also what we bring to any who seek to stand beside us.”

His helm tilted slightly, the crimson light catching the veins of beskar that threaded through the table. “The Anvil is the forge of Warden Kryze, and it is with his vision that Concordia has become a nexus of industry and commerce rather than a forgotten moon. What you see before you is not an isolated achievement but a Mandalorian undertaking, backed by the clans whose crests you see above us. In that, Warden Kryze speaks with my voice as much as his own, and the strength of Concordia is offered not as coercion but as partnership. We do not need to bind others with threats, because we know our strength is real, and we know that those who see its value will choose to stand with it.”

His gaze shifted, sweeping across the Confederation’s delegation, catching the ones who had spoken and the ones who had not. “So let us set this plainly. Mandalore does not posture, nor do we kneel. We offer strength, stability, and markets born of steel and fire. In return, we seek partners who understand that contracts are not only about credits but about endurance, reliability, and the resolve to honor them even when circumstances shift. If your Confederation stands ready to meet us on those terms, then the table before us becomes more than wood and metal, and the words spoken here can shape the course of both our peoples.”

CAPTAIN RONHAR TANE, TK-3301
VERD'OKAR CHAMBER
CONCORDIA

Ronhar deeply appreciated the candor with which Mandalorians the spoke, as that indicated to him that they were serious about conducting business with the Imperial Confederation. After all, the politics involved with navigating corporate talk was not something that Ronhar was overly familiar with. By stating their demands and expectations so plainly, it would make the coming negations much easier to get through.

"Well said Warden Kryze and Mand'alor Verd", Ronhar noted as he made sure to use the appropriate titles when addressing the Mandalorian leadership. "I have heard that the Mandalorian people are an honest and pragmatic bunch, and your words here today only prove to us that point. As such, I will not waste any time with my proposition."

At this point, Ronhar began to dramatically walk around the table, making sure to keep a respectful distance between himself and his hosts.

"To be blunt, Mahporeem is looking to acquire your scrap", he continued as he finally stopped moving. "For generations, we have subsisted on the nearly endless scrapyards of Mahporeem, scavenging and salvaging for anything that we might need to have on our planet. Of course, several hundred years of isolation have depleted our reserves of raw materials, which is why we reopened ourselves back to the galaxy at large."

"This has proven to be an unqualified success for us, as the Confederation, the Black Sun and the Galactic Alliance have all chosen to engage in business with Mahporeem. We wish to add your faction to this growing list of business partners, by establishing a number of long term salvage and recycling contracts with you. As I've said, we greatly desire your scrap: your antiquated and obsolete starships designs, your damaged and destroyed war machines, even your electronics and metals that your faction no longer has any use of."

Ronhar paused for a moment before continuing:

"To some, they see garbage. To us, we see opportunity. Of course, we would not dream of demanding these contracts for free. For providing us with the scrap and resources we crave, we will agree to service, refuel, and rearm any and all ships that are a part of your fleet, free of charge. Having a port of safe call so far away from any active fighting would surely prove to be a boon for you, nor do I think my partners in the Confederation would object to it. Mahporeem is full of expert mechanics, engineers and repair technicians, and would only serve to further your long term interests.

"We would also offer you access to our various scrapyards. Though time has taken its toll on them, they are still some of the largest and most extensive throughout the galaxy, even more so that they have been refilled. Still, we have scrap and materials dating back thousands of years hidden within them, perhaps containing something you might find of interest or value."

"Finally", Ronhar concluded, "we wish to collaborate with you on the creation of anti-force technology. As I understand it, your faction utilizes Ysalamiri to combat force users, to say nothing of your Mandalorian technology and use of Beskar. We have decided to utilize our own technologies to this end, and pending Confederation approval, hope to share designs between us."

"All this, I humbly ask you to consider, so that both of our factions may continue to prosper throughout the greater Galactic Community."

With that, Ronhar gave a swift bow, before returning back to his seat to hear the Mandalorian's response.

Karl Von Strauss Karl Von Strauss 's voice was clear, his intentions towards the core and meaning of this meeting concise and without too much eufemisms or wishy washy vagueness. Amalia's eyes slowly glanced over towards the Exarch, nodding gently towards the man, as if to show her appreciation for the Exarch's choice of words. However, her gaze quickly turned towards Siv Kryze Siv Kryze , the mandalorian who had apparently been the crux for this meeting on the end of the Mandalorian Empire's behalf, listening as they gave some historical lesson on the very place they were seated. It was rather interesting to the woman to hear just how the mandalorians seemed to operate, their beliefs and ofcourse, their unbridled pragmatism.

The words then uttered by Aether Verd Aether Verd ; The Manda'lor of Iron made it clear as to what their host was expecting. no vagueness and long drawn speeches would be tolerated, heard or even acknowledged. This was a meeting of equal transaction, of proper alignment and agreement to terms both parties felt to be fair and balanced.

Ronhar Tane Ronhar Tane seemed to take the opportunity to boast about his homestead's growth in importance within the Confederation and the fact that they've been actively pursuing greater goals. Mahporeen was quite the attractive place for many who sought to utilize its industrial capabilities, but that was nothing unique and while they had much to offer, their industry lacked focus and dedicated corporate power. Even if the N&Z had already decided to invest in the Mahporeen scrapyards and internal industry, more would be necessary for the planet and the surrounding sector to truly reach its full potential.

As soon as Ronhar made his bow and sat down again, the mysterious man with the smiling mask, standing behind Amalia leaned forwards and whispered something into the woman's ears, which seemed to amuse her, as she showed a strange thing: a smile which did not reach her eyes, yet a smile nonetheless, in itself a rarity.

"The N&Z believes that it is exactly the strength the Mandalorians possess which is their greatest asset," Slowly unclasping her hands, letting her left hand gently reach the table, while her face gently leaned upon her right hand, the current CEO of the N&Z Umbrella Corporation once more showed a faint smile, which still failed to reach her eyes. "The N&Z's security division wishes to discuss what the Mandalorian Empire would want in return for a handful of its best warriors to act as external advisors and instructors to the training centra of this aforementioned security Division? After all, as the past has shown...Mandalorians lend themselves to instructor roles quite admirably."

Shrugging her shoulders a bit, clasping her hands together again with the same slowly fading smile on her face, Amalia came to the clincher of her proposal and questions. "As for any other deals or proposals... most of our wares are geared towards useability in the field, military strength through superior quality and efficiency. I believe that allowing the N&Z to operate within Mandalorian territory in its capacity as an industry leader within the market of military hardware would benefit us both."

.
ANVIL OF CONCORDIA
Verd'okar Chamber, Concordia

The Warden of Concordia did not sit. His armor caught the molten gleam of the Mandalorian sigil projected above the obsidian table, the crimson light crawling across the plates of beskar like liquid fire. Beneath their feet, the pulse of the Anvil hummed steady and alive — a rhythm that seemed to echo his words before he spoke them.

"Captain Ronhar Tane Ronhar Tane . Lady Amalia Visconti | Mira Rhory Amalia Visconti | Mira Rhory . Confederation delegates."

Siv Kryze's voice, filtered through the vocoder, was low, deliberate, and carved with that unmistakable Mandalorian weight.

"Mandalore was forged on the belief that nothing of worth is ever lost — only waiting to be reforged. You speak of salvage, Captain, of reclaiming debris and turning it toward purpose. That is a familiar language to us. Where you see the aftermath of conflict, Mandalore sees the fragments of legacy — steel with memory. Mahporeem's yards recover what the galaxy discards. Our forges make such fragments eternal."

He lifted a gauntlet, and the air between them bloomed with holographic light: the Anvil of Concordia rendered in crimson and gold, its industrial rings spiraling outward, feeding into new corridors that reached across Mandalorian space toward the Confederation's borders.

"Here is what I propose."

The projection rotated, tracing scarlet lines through the void — trade arteries running between the Anvil, Confederation sectors, and Mahporeem's salvage routes.

"Let Mandalore and Mahporeem bind their strengths. You will send us the refuse of war — the broken hulls, the obsolete drives, the metal your worlds can no longer use. The Anvil's foundries will melt it down, refine it, and reforge it into arms, armor, and alloy. A fair division of yield: the Confederation will have first rights to purchase refitted craft and reclaimed material, while Mandalore gains a steady flow of supply for our stations and fleets. Both profit. Both grow stronger."

The red light bled into deeper shades as smaller icons of warships began to move along the projected lanes — escort vessels bearing the Mandalorian sigil.

"You asked about protection," Siv continued, his tone unchanging, yet something colder edging beneath it. "Our fleets can secure your routes, but understand — Mandalorians are not mercenaries. They fight for purpose, not coin. What we offer are joint security contingents — Mandalorian squadrons deployed under Confederation charter, commanded under Mandalorian code. Their presence guarantees stability. Their allegiance is to the accord, not to tribute. The credits you pay are not for obedience. They are for partnership."

He turned his attention then, the blue of the projection catching along the curve of his visor as his focus shifted toward Amalia Visconti's image.

"Lady Visconti," he said, his voice steady, "your proposal carries another weight entirely. Where Captain Tane offers the bones of the past, you offer the framework for the future. Factories, refineries, ports — the arteries through which this alliance will breathe. The Anvil was never meant to be static; it was designed to expand, to become a hub of industry and commerce. You bring the means to accelerate that design."

He motioned again, and new schematics folded into view: the lower sectors of the Anvil, labeled in Mandalorian script — Sector Theta Expansion.

"Your Confederation will be granted administrative lease within these sectors for industrial development — manufacturing rings, ship component facilities, foundry extensions. These will remain under Mandalorian security and law, but operated by Confederation hands. In return, Mandalore will hold a twenty-percent stake in production and profit, and full authority over export routing, military contracts, and resource certification. No weapon leaves this station without Mandalorian approval. No design leaves without shared access."

His stance shifted slightly — not a relaxation, but a recalibration.

"Between your proposal and Captain Tane's, the framework of something greater begins to form. Mahporeem provides the salvage, the raw steel. Your factories give it purpose. The Anvil reforges it. The Confederation distributes it. Each link in the chain strengthens the next — provided no one forgets who holds the hammer."

The hologram flared brighter — the crimson sigil of Mandalore rising behind the projection like a second sun.

"As for technology," Siv continued, "Mandalore seeks advancement, not dependence. In return for escort and defense, we ask access to your research — propulsion advancements, energy shielding, and anti-Force deterrent technologies. We do not demand full schematics, only exchange and cooperation. In return, the Anvil's armories will provide live testing grounds and engineering application. You give theory; we return it forged in practice."

He allowed the light to fade until only the sigil remained, pulsing slow and red above them.

"These are not terms of subservience. They are the foundations of something enduring — trade for strength, strength for stability. The Confederation brings its ingenuity. Mandalore brings its shield and its will. Together, we turn ruin into empire."

For a long moment, only the hum of the station filled the silence. Then Siv clasped his hands behind his back, the motion deliberate and final.

"Consider these terms carefully. When next the Anvil strikes, let it strike for profit… and permanence."

Amalia watched calmly, the masked man behind her keeping a close eye on everyone with a vibrancy in his eyes that practically made it as if he'd be able to see everything, as if he could mentally lift up all the masks and uncover all the faces. Luckily, this was just an indication of the intensity of his eyes, not as if he had the capacity to do so...mostly.

The exchanges were curt, short and brutally logical, she had to admit that Tertius C. Nargath Tertius C. Nargath had been right on the Mandalorians, calling them his favorite people besides his native eriaduans. The current CEO of the N&Z wasn't a native Eriaduan, but had at the very least spent quite some time there in the employ of the Nargath household, thus she understood where the Chairman of the N&Z Umbrella Corporation came from, the Mandalorians were no pushovers, but they seemed to show respect not through flattery or flowery words, but through honesty and principles. Mandalorian culture was after all built on a code, on principles which guided them and shaped their minds and philosophies. It was so like the Eriaduan culture, which was in its origin militaristic, just the same built on rules, principles and the adherence to these principles.

"Allow me to first and foremost confirm that I am processing the information...or rather your proposal properly," Her hand reached for her breastpocket, slowly pulling out a thin pen-shaped object, which when it was pressed on the back, suddenly showed a moderately small holographic tablet, which the woman effortlessly started playing with, before she held up the tablet to the man standing behind her, whose vibrant red and crimson eyes scanned over the tablet screen, before nodding and returning it to Amalia.

A moment she seemed to turn her head ever so slightly, tilting it a few degrees to the side as she looked at Siv Kryze Siv Kryze and Aether Verd Aether Verd with a somewhat sly and amused smile, yet her eyes betrayed that the smile was not reaching those gray, practically lifeless orbs, there was no emotion in them, so unreadable that she could've very well been wearing a mandolorian helmet just like them. "I must say... you are quite sly for a Mandolorian, Sir Siv of the Clan Kryze, Lord warden of Concordia."

Tapping her fingers on the table in front of her, the sound of her finely manicured nails reverberating with each 'TIC' and 'TAC', it was rather clear that this was a deal that would not just hurt the TIC, it would completely fall onto the N&Z. They were effectively demanding full control, not over the trade itself, but over all it would yield. This effectively would hurt the independence of the N&Z to quite a large degree. The terms did sound nice, until one looked at the bigger picture, for once someone had actually turned the usual dealmaking on its head, making the singular small details look favorable enough for one to be blind for the overall effect it would have.

"Do explain to me how taking away the main business of the Mahporeem people and their worth to the N&Z and the TIC itself would sound anything besides a rather unbalanced proposition," Amalia's face seemed to contort, going from a neutral look into one with a furrowed brow and her upper teeth clearly pressed upon her lower lip, only to then turn into what could be considered a somewhat twisted grin, as if she simply couldn't believe what was being asked and presented. "As far as I can see it, this is not a proposition for trade, but an attempt at highjacking our economy...in exchange for what again?"

Suddenly she began tapping with her fingers again, yet more rapidly than before, showing a clear discordance with the smile she wore upon her face. "No...no this won't do. So allow me to propose a counter offer to you, something more balanced and leaning into each of our strengths. Mahporeem is the main recycling and scrapping partner to the N&Z and the TIC as a whole, they are licensed to resmelt our protected patents on the Ersteel and infinium alloys and are soon to be approved for the smelting of Eridium as well. Ronhar Tane Ronhar Tane will be able to attest to this, so could Karl Von Strauss Karl Von Strauss as both happen to be directors within the very Board of the N&Z Umbrella Corporation itself."

For a moment, the masked man behind her leaned in next to the woman, his eyes first turning towards the mandolorians present, before a hollow whispering emanated from behind the mask, to which Amalia seemed to respond with a nod, a glance of her own towards the mandalorians and lastly a swift, light cough. "The Idea of leasing territory to built up an industry is perfectly suitable as a point from where to start. However as far as I see we'd be paying for this, thus the price better be good for the TIC to hand over military technology without assurances. As far as I believe, you yourself would have a similar hesitancy towards the export of Beskar'gem to imperials...am I correct?"

Leaning a bit backwards, Amalia pressed he hands together, and motioned towards the Mandolorians present. "I proposed an exchange of expertise...not a sale out of our assets and information in exchange for hot air. So... I wish to make it clear, I respect the Mandolorians for who and what they are, but in business...one does hope not to be disrespected by those one is attempting to form a lasting relation with... it would not bode well in long term planning. Now then, are we allowed to propose alterations or are you adamant on this...'proposal'.

ANVIL OF CONCORDIA

Karl sat silently as Captain Tane opened discussions regarding Mahporeem's interest in Mandalorian scrap and salvage, a cornerstone of the planet's growing industry and one of its most profitable imports. Mahporeem's engineers had mastered the art of reclaiming the obsolete and broken, transforming debris into assets once more. When Lady Visconti took the floor, however, Karl's attention sharpened. As a fellow director within the N&Z Umbrella Corporation, her proposals were of professional interest as much as political.

Her opening points were pragmatic: hiring Mandalorian instructors for the Security Division, determining fair compensation, and securing permission for N&Z to operate within the Mandalorian Empire's sphere of influence; a move that, if managed properly, could benefit both governments.

Warden Kryze responded in kind, layering his own proposals upon those already raised. Yet as Karl listened, his expression remained unreadable. The suggested terms, while ambitious, would tip the balance of favor heavily toward the Mandalorian Empire and diminish the Confederation's leverage. Before he could voice this concern, Amalia spoke up, echoing his thoughts and addressing the imbalance head-on.

Once she finished, Karl straightened in his chair, the subtle groan of age accompanying the movement. "If I may?" He began, "The proposals before us lean too heavily in one direction. That can be corrected, so that both the Mandalorian Empire and the Imperial Confederation benefit equally."

"Firstly,"
he said, motioning to both Warden Kryze and Captain Tane, "Both of your industries thrive on reclamation, the art of turning wreckage into worth. Rather than compete, why not collaborate? Mahporeem's salvage yards are unmatched within the Confederation's borders. A joint operation, perhaps a fifty-fifty split of recovered materials, would serve both powers far better than division."

Retrieving his holopad, Karl keyed a command. A blue projection materialized above the table, displaying a pair of orbital stations. "These are Khonshu Path Stations, capable of establishing private hyperlanes between systems. We currently operate one pair between Mon Cala and Eriadu. I propose installing another between Mahporeem and Concordia, staffed jointly by Mandalorian and Imperial personnel to oversee transfers. Refined output could be divided evenly, forty percent to each government with the remaining twenty sold on the open market, the profits shared equally. This ensures both our peoples reclaim the past to build the future."

"As for protection,"
Karl continued, "I suggest a joint squadron, Imperials and Mandalorians serving together. Command would alternate depending on jurisdiction: the Mandalorian commander leading in Mandalorian space with an Imperial commander as executive, and vice versa in Confederation territory. One side would provide the ships, the other logistical and maintenance support. Mixed crews would ensure unity and trust."

Karl began to turn toward Amalia before he spoke. "I also concur with Lady Visconti. Leasing territory is a reasonable proposal, provided terms are mutually acceptable. Speaking as both Exarch of the Imperial Confederation and as Director of N&Z, I would accept a fifty-year lease for Imperial trade enclaves. These enclaves would operate under Imperial law but remain under Mandalorian security protection and compliance."

He clicked his tongue softly before adding, "However, twenty percent of the profits is excessive. Fifteen percent, with scalable increases based on performance, is fairer. For example, if production rises by ten percent in the first fiscal quarter, the Mandalorian share increases to twenty percent for that term. It would never drop below fifteen. Although, as a Director, I have a proposition that I believe justifies the original twenty proposed."

He leaned forward slightly. "Lastly, on technology exchange: I propose a three-tier framework. Tier One is civilian and infrastructural technologies, which would be shared openly. Tier Two is defensive or military technologies, shared through controlled joint testing. Tier Three, classified developments; these would remain remain sovereign, though both parties exchange limited field data. Any derivative technologies must credit both contributors and remain accessible to both governments."

Exhaling softly, Karl concluded, "I apologize for the lengthy discourse, but I believe clarity and equity are the foundations of lasting cooperation."

With that, he reclined, hands folded, and waited for the room's response. His expression was impassive, but his mind was already calculating the possible outcomes of every nod and silence.

CAPTAIN RONHAR TANE, TK-3301
VERD'OKAR CHAMBER
CONCORDIA

When Ronhar heard Siv Kryze Siv Kryze 's initial reply to his query, he was not at all satisfied with what they had to say. Naturally, when he said that he had wanted the Mandalorian's scrap, he had meant it. That did not include sending what precious resources the Imperial Remnant already had back to Mandalore to first be processed into something useful. After all, that would defeat the whole purpose of Ronhar's mission here today. The scrapyards and junkyards of Mahporeem were its lifeblood, and the Imperial Remnant was loathe to share its resources without proper compensation. Why should they go through the trouble of finding additional resources just to give them away to the Mandalorians, even if it did mean the the Imperial Remnant could access their designs? Plus, Ronhar was keenly aware that other interested parties had asked him to acquire examples of Mandalorian built weapons and vehicles, so that they could study them for future engagements. If Ronhar simply sent the components and materials Mahporeem had on site, then it would not satisfy that particular requirement.

More importantly, what was all this talk of protection? Ronhar hadn't brought that up in his request, yet the Mandalorians seemed concerned enough to mention it themselves. Had they mistaken his offer of friendship and technology exchange for a sign of weakness? Were they truly that concerned that the Imperial Remnant could not defend itself that they would preemptively offer their own forces? Ronhar understood that the Imperial Remnant didn't have the same strengths and assets as other factions, but it could take care of itself and the business that it brought with it.

If anything, Ronhar was feeling a bit insulted.

Before he could reply with a nasty retort however, Karl Von Strauss Karl Von Strauss , perhaps sensing the Stromtrooper's displeasure with the Mandalorians offer, chimed in with a plan of his own.

"Firstly, both of your industries thrive on reclamation, the art of turning wreckage into worth. Rather than compete, why not collaborate? Mahporeem's salvage yards are unmatched within the Confederation's borders. A joint operation, perhaps a fifty-fifty split of recovered materials, would serve both powers far better than division."

A fair assessment and reasonable point, Ronhar though as he listened intently to what his colleague had to say. If he was being honest, this was probably the best deal he was going to get with the Mandalorians. After all, what could be more fair than a 50/50 split? At least this way the Imperial Remnant could continue to acquire the scrap and salvage it so desperately wanted while still gaining access to new designs supplied by the Mandalorians. Even if they got their hands on Imperial Remnant tech, it would be more than worth it, since the Imperial Remnant could sell the designs of the Mandalorian's weapons and vehicles to those other interested parties...discretely, of course.

Another excellent idea, and one that Ronhar could personally get behind. This was especially important to his plan involving his mysterious third parties benefactors, as he could get members of their factions onto these stations operating as if they were from Mahporeem itself. After all, creating fake credentials was easier than stealing candy from a youngling, while the reward of doing so would be well worth it he could pull it off. If not...well, Rohar would worry about that if and when his scheme was revealed.

"As for protection, I suggest a joint squadron, Imperials and Mandalorians serving together. Command would alternate depending on jurisdiction: the Mandalorian commander leading in Mandalorian space with an Imperial commander as executive, and vice versa in Confederation territory. One side would provide the ships, the other logistical and maintenance support. Mixed crews would ensure unity and trust."

If Ronhar didn't know any better, than he would have thought that the Exarch was in on his plan. Maybe he already was? After all, the Imperial Intelligence Machine was quite possibly second to none, and Ronhar wouldn't be surprised if the Exarch had intelligence units embedded within Imperial Remnant territory. Still, in the brief time Ronhar had known him, he didn't really seem like the type of person who would do that to their allies. Still, one could never be to careful, and Ronhar started thinking about whether or not he should include the Exarch in on his secret plans.

Maybe he should. Maybe he shouldn't. But, certainly something to think about.

Once the Exarch finished speaking, Ronhar gave his reply to the Mandalorians.

"Well said, Exarch Karl Von Strauss Karl Von Strauss . As is usual, your wisdom continues to provide us with the proper direction and guidance needed to ensure a mutually productive agreement between both the Imperial Confederation and the Mandalorain Empire. We find these terms most fair and agreeable, and provided that our partners here feel the same, would move to immediately implement them post haste. As long as Mandalore is capable of contributing to overall salvage and reclamation operations, of course. After all, the more material that comes into our scrapyards, the more opportunities you'll have to utilize our resources as is needed", Ronhar added at the end.

Ronhar eagerly awaited for the reply of the Mandalorian delegate.

ANVIL OF CONCORDIA
The crimson glow of the Mandalorian sigil still pulsed above the obsidian table. Siv Kryze stood beneath it, motionless save for the faint hum of the respirator in his helm.

"Exarch Von Strauss. Lady Visconti."

His voice carried the quiet certainty of someone used to command — even when the battlefield was made of words.

"You have both spoken well. Captain Tane's salvage operations give us the bones. Lady Visconti's infrastructure gives them form. Between those two lies a structure worth building — provided it is built on even ground."

He gestured, and the holographic map of the Anvil of Concordia returned to life. Red trade arteries stretched outward toward Mahporeem and the Confederation borders.

"The joint reclamation initiative is approved. Mahporeem will supply the salvage and coordinate logistics. The Anvil will reforge and redistribute. Oversight and yield are shared evenly — neither side commands the other. What is recovered from war becomes the foundation of our renewal."

The projection shifted, showing the Path Stations that bridged their territories.

"The Concordia–Mahporeem Path Stations will be established under shared authority. Each Empire governs its own installation, but oversight, transit, and defense are jointly managed. Fleet patrols will operate under a rotating command. No permanent garrisons. No foreign banners above Mandalorian soil. We build corridors of trade, not footholds of occupation."

He turned slightly, a flicker of red light tracing the edge of his visor.

"Sector Theta remains as it was offered. The Confederation may develop and operate within those lower industrial sectors — but under Mandalorian law, protection, and customs. The work is shared, but the jurisdiction is ours. You will find no enclaves here — only collaboration."

Siv's tone softened, but the steel beneath it was unmistakable.

"On the matter of technology, Mandalore agrees to structured cooperation. Tiers One and Two — civilian systems, industrial research, defensive development — may be freely shared under joint projects. Tier Three — high-grade weapons, classified systems, strategic research — remains wholly sovereign to each Empire. No field data exchanged. No hidden audits. What defines our strength remains our own."

He inclined his head slightly toward Amalia's hologram.

"Still, innovation thrives in partnership. A Joint Research Council will be formed — a select group of Mandalorian and Confederation engineers authorized to propose projects beneficial to both sides. Any joint development, particularly those involving beskar or proprietary alloys, must receive written sanction from both governments before production or release. We advance together — not at the cost of trust."

The sigil of Mandalore brightened behind him, casting a deep crimson hue across the chamber.

"These are the terms as Mandalore stands by them. They offer parity, not privilege. Cooperation, not concession. If accepted, they bind our Empires in strength — forged, not forced."

He clasped his hands behind his back, the motion slow and deliberate.

"When the Anvil strikes next, it will not strike alone."

ANVIL OF CONCORDIA

Karl sat with his hands steepled and his legs crossed, nodding as Captain Tane accepted the terms he had laid out. The Mahporeem Remnant's success was, after all, the Imperial Confederation's success. Each member state existed to strengthen the others; Karl would never knowingly disadvantage his own allies. Still, he couldn't help tilting his head at the Warden's response.

The misunderstanding of his fifty–fifty proposal between Mahporeem and the Anvil caught him off guard, something he would need to clarify at the first opportunity. Their acceptance of the path stations, however, genuinely pleased him. He had designed the system himself, and the stations remained an untapped resource capable of eliminating piracy, so long as they didn't possess an interdictor. The protection fleet proposal was also accepted with minimal fuss. Joint command benefited both sides, allowing each to evaluate the other's operational methods. It was as much a cultural exchange as it was a military one.

He did frown at the rejection of his trade enclave idea, but he admitted to himself that it was the weakest proposal on the table. Fortunately, he already had another avenue he could pursue to balance the deal. As for the adjustment to his three-tiered technological structure, that change he welcomed outright. He had offered field data only out of respect for the Mandalorians, but he would gladly avoid sharing anything classified. The suggestion of a joint research council was even better; collaboration was far preferable to working in isolation.

"I believe there's been a misunderstanding, Warden. The fifty–fifty proposal was meant to support both the Anvil and Mahporeem, not to undercut either of them." He leaned forward, unsteepling his hands and setting them on the table. "At the risk of sounding indelicate, Mahporeem's economy is built almost entirely on salvage. Removing that foundation would be, if you'll forgive the allegory, shooting the horse before it's had a chance to run."

"What I'm suggesting is a proportional division of salvage. For example, if we recover a derelict Star Destroyer, Mahporeem and the Anvil would each take fifty percent. Likewise, if the Empire discovers a derelict cruiser, the Anvil would claim half and send the remaining half to Mahporeem through the path stations. Simple equality. A fair deal for all involved."

Karl smiled, turning his palms upward. "That said, the rest of your terms are perfectly agreeable to me. I admit I'm a bit disappointed about losing the independent trade enclaves, but it's not a major concern. I know Mandalorian law is honorable."

He shifted slightly, his tone remaining cordial. "In place of the enclaves, I'd like to request something of lesser value. Specifically, five neurological scans of Mandalorian warriors. Two should be officers, ideally of lieutenant rank or equivalent, one from ground forces and one from naval command. The remaining three are entirely your choice, whether technicians or standard line soldiers."

Tilting her head ever so slightly, Amalia listened to the response coming from the Warden, the words uttered by both Karl Von Strauss Karl Von Strauss and Ronhar Tane Ronhar Tane , finding their accomodating counter offers quite amusing and well thought of, the use of the pathway stations would ofcourse be a good way to utilize the N&Z once more, further showing to the very galaxy that the N&Z was the dominant corporation within the Confederation's borders, but also had its strengths outside of these borders.

Still, when the Warden dismissed the idea of an Imperial Confederation enclave under the pretense that no foreign flag would wave above Mandolorian soil, The CEO of the N&Z Umbrella Corporation had to refrain herself from letting out a chuckle. After all, if that was their demand, in that case the N&Z could effectively take over this operation from The Imperial Confederation, as they were a company, not a nation, their emblem being emblazoned upon mando soil would be much less of a problem, especially if this would mean the N&Z would provide opportunities for labor, further economic integration and lucrative deals in the future.

"May I propose a slight alteration to these quite frankly very generous and well-balanced proposals," With an astonishingly neutral expression, Amalia tapped with her nails on the table again. "If it would be more suitable, I may think a solution to any of these problems would be to allow N&Z security to handle the security on the stations themselves. As the N&Z will be the ones building these stations, it would not be inconceivable for the N&Z to conduct the general maintainance and basic security in joint operation with both governments."

Tilting her head once more, the CEO let out a soft chuckle. "In that same regard, the N&Z would not mind handling the industrialization of Theta sector under Mandolorian supervision, as it would also make it much easier for the company to establish a training center within mandolorian borders for its own security and thus making it much easier for you to have oversight over the requested instructors and the use of the N&Z security forces within the Mandolorian Empire, wouldn't you agree sir Siv Kryze Siv Kryze ?"

ANVIL OF CONCORDIA
The glow of the holotable shifted as Siv turned toward Amalia, her soft chuckle lingering in the air like perfume in a sealed room. He did not bristle. Mandalorians didn't need to.

"Lady Visconti," he said, helm tilting a fraction. "You see the angles clearly. And you are correct—N&Z's reach does not carry the weight of a foreign banner. It carries the weight of industry. Mandalore has no quarrel with that."

He stepped closer to the projection, the light outlining the ridges of his armor.

"Your proposal is acceptable. N&Z will manage baseline station maintenance and internal order. Your teams will spearhead industrial redevelopment in Theta—under Mandalorian oversight, as you've suggested."

There was no skepticism, no tension—just the quiet certainty of a man who recognized a workable solution and locked it in place.

"As for a training center within our borders: so long as it operates under Mandalorian charter and inspection, you will have your facility. Your instructors will have access. Your personnel will have clarity. And Mandalore will have transparency."

A short, respectful nod.

"This is agreeable."

He did not linger on the matter. Instead, the tone shifted—firmer, but not hostile—as he turned toward Karl's projection.

" Karl Von Strauss Karl Von Strauss "

The chamber dimmed as five armored silhouettes rose beside him, haloed in crimson.

"You now understand why Mandalore denies your request for neurological scans. Such data is not mere information. It is instinct shaped across generations, and we do not permit it to be harvested."

The outlines sharpened.

"Instead, we offer what is honorable—and what is acceptable."

He lifted a hand, emphasizing each word like the strike of a hammer.

"Five warriors. Veterans chosen by the Alor'e Council. They will advise, demonstrate, and teach through action, not extraction. They will give you methodology—not our minds."

The holograms dissolved in a wash of red light, the sigil above catching their fade.

"So understand this: the Accord remains intact in every respect except this one. We accept the terms before us. We move forward on trade, infrastructure, security, research, and strategic alignment."

He squared his shoulders.

"Only the neural-scan request is denied. That boundary protects our identity—never our pride."

A final, resolute inclination of his head.

"The Council will finalize the selection shortly. And you, Exarch, will receive the names first."

He looked between the holograms of Visconti and Von Strauss.

"With these matters settled, we proceed to implementation. The Anvil of Concordia moves from theory… to construction."

The sigil pulsed once more, like a heartbeat in forged iron.

"Let us continue
