Another Jedi, oh joy. (Gherron Vael)

Alexandra Feanor

"What forms, perhaps i know the same ones, though my study into them is not as improved i am sure." She stepped over a log in the way without looking, watching it as she continued on walking. "I really should move that off the path, someone is going to trip on it one of these days and with my luck itll be me when im not paying attention." [member="Gherron Vael"]

"Well, I'm a master in Soresu, I have some work in Shii-cho, and I just started learning Vapaad. Know any of those?" He was rather proud of his accomplishments, as that he was learning as quickly as he had. His Vapaad training wasn't from a Jedi, but it sill counted in his mind.

"Ah, i know a bit of Shi-cho so to have a basis as well as Makashi due to its use against single combatants... but Niman mixed with the Jarkai style and Trakata Technique is what i excel in, quite useful a mixture as they must focus on two blades that are activating and deactivating at will mixed with the use of force powers mid combat... a dangerous combination. Though, i show more training towards the force than anything else, this is due to my size of course and the fact that it can accomplish so much more than a blade can." [member="Gherron Vael"]

Gherron nodded, interested. "That may be true in some aspects, but I've been fending off others physically all my life, so it only seemed appropriate. So, lightsaber combat is my best way of using the force."

"Nice... well any more questions for me?" She turned her head to look at down the path before looking back at him, judging how much longer till they reached the compound itself. She really should get something together and what not, sort of out in the middle of space in no one group's territory. Less chance of the Jedi not liking her presence here on this rock called Alderaan. [member="Gherron Vael"]

Gherron shook his head no. "No, I'll wait unilateral we reach your compound to ask anything else. I don't wanna feel like I'm pushing you for anything." He offered a small smile to show that his words were indeed true. Walking along the path, he continued to admire the scenery around them. It seemed to grow ever more wait idyl the deeper into the path they went.

She shrugged and turned around, walking normally now sense their conversation was over. Her hands crossed behind her as she walked and her head kept forward. After about twenty minutes more though they would come along the walls of the compound, waving to those who occupied the outcrops to watch for anyone coming as they opened the doors. "Well, here we are mister Jedi." She walked in and waved her hands to the area around them, letting her body turn again to face him as she smiled at the introduction of her home. Inside the walls there were small pools of water with stones in them for meditation, various training rings and all sorts of different objects around those rings. And at the middle of the compound was a building that better resembled a home for the rich rather than a temple. [member="Gherron Vael"]

As the two came upon the temple, Gherron whistled softly. "Wow, you guys really decked it out. Got a training center and everything. Speaking of which, would you mind.. if I..." He gestured toward the training center in question. He was always a training nut, nothing would change that. So naturally, when he saw an arena or training room of any sort, he had to check it out.

"Not at all, though its not that great when there isnt someone to spar with, mind if i be such?" She wanted to see what this Jedi could do and was very interested in how he would handle himself in a fight, mostly because of that but also she was bored again without something to study or read or think about. Bad part about her mind, when it wasnt occupied it would drift off and try to take in as much information as possible. [member="Gherron Vael"]

Gherron nodded with a smirk at the woman's question. In fact, he usually did spar alone, using the force to conjure enemies in his head. However, practicing with another often did much better in the long run. It gave him a sense of what others could be capable of, and made him that much more skilled in a certain way of combat. "Sure, why not. You wanna work with vibroblades or lightsabers?"

She smiled and brought both her sabers to her hands. "Come now, were force users, why use something worse when we got something much more suited to us, plus you would have me at a disadvantage with a vibroblades, cant use my signature combination of techniques." She left the sabers deactivated, fitting into her hands as she stood there and then moved forward into the training ring to stare back at the man. The way she stood though mirror a Niman ready stance, the handles of her blades pointed down and back a bit. [member="Gherron Vael"]

Gherron smirked, nodding. She had a point, after all. Pulling out his own saber, he readied himself in a slightly broken Vapaad stance, breathing as slowly as possible to build up energy. This was the form he wanted to work for the most, so he would train with it constantly. Nodding his head in readiness, he decided to let [member="Alexandra Cinthra"] make the first move.

Alexandra smiled and pushed her body into a quick dash, igniting her blades right before striking with both on a cross cut slash from both directions aimed at his midsection. Unless for some reason he did nothing, which why wouldnt he do something, the cut would deliver him a nice little dismemberment but she trusted the man to have a little bit of dual saber defense training... right? [member="Gherron Vael"]

As quickly as the attack had come, Gherron brought up his lightsaber to slide along one of Alexandra's, where it would wind up going straight for her chest. He really hoped she was able to block his attack, otherwise he wasn't sure he could stop it. After all, the Jedi wasn't too confident he had complete control over the art of Vapaad, as he was still learning. Keeping close watch would be a prime necessity.

Alexandra watched as his blade came up at her and turned so that it hummed past her and left her unscratched. "That could have hurt." Keeping one blade in reserve now she moved forward, making a quick cut towards his leg, keeping the blow precise and balanced this time so that she didn't have any more close calls like before. Her eyes watched him though, she had never fought this style before, which meant it was all the newer to her. [member="Gherron Vael"]

"Sorry." Gherron pulled back for a second, relieved the woman had been able to deflect his attack. Now encouraged, he nodded and continued the onslaught. Raising his saber over his head, he charged, flipped over the other and sent a slash at where he imagined her own blades would come down. He wanted to practice the form, but not at the expense of the leader's life. He would feel horrible if he had wound up terribly wounding the woman, after coming on a mission of peace. It would not be very good on his record either.

Alexandra raised a blade to block his own as she felt her body getting back into its grove, the second blade brought to her side and deactivated before being placed on her belt and her jumping back from him. "Hmm, you are holding back, come on now and give me a good fight." She put herself this time into a Makashi stance before pressing a button on her belt as soon the training ring sounded like a battlefield, the calm of others training would be replaced with the sound of blaster fire, artillery rounds, and the cries of the wounded and the strong. It was all in his and her head though, directed neural transmitters, stimulating his and her brains to perceive the noise as actually going on and the vibrations in the air to be true. Sighing softly, Gherron looked the other in the eyes. "Just remember, you asked for it." Bringing his fist down, his lightsaber following in a flash, he began attacking in quick series of jabs and slashes, each more precise than the last. He noticed that as he got more into it, his movements were more fluid and less rigid like if he was practicing Soresu. He relished the feeling, as it gave him more freedom in combat.

Alexandra's entire body moved with her, matching him stroke for stroke, applying more and less for energy to certain limbs or all at once depending on the strike. His blade did clip her several times, but only little burns, nothing damaging or that would slow her down to the point where there was no recovery. 'It seemed the sounds didn't even effect him, good that would have been boring...' She moved to place her foot back and as a strike came in she parried it and sent her free hand forward, sending a burst of force energy for his chest if she could. It was a variant of the pushing slash, replacing the slash part with the parry. [member="Gherron Vael"]

Gherron fought, so focused on his attacks and landings that he never noticed he was in fact hitting the woman. However, he did notice a buildup of force energy coming from her. Stopping his attacks, he tried to switch to Soresu... Too late. His lightsaber being knocked from his hand, he flew backward a few feet. However, being the try-hard that he was, he immediately went to Shii-cho and begun to place his attacks in a more timely order, this time ready to defend if necessary.
