Personally recovered by the Hutt pirate Chamdar, this set of fusion pistols are ancient designs, from the bygone era of Hutt dominance of the galaxy. Compact, but heavy, they provide a limited range heavy stopping power shot, perfect for combat on the bridge of a ship, or when boarding or counterboarding. Chamdar carries two of these exotic and dangerous weapons on his person, among other weaponry.
Originally produced for the personal guard of some of the greatest Hutts of ancient times, these weapons were mastercrafted on the former Hutt homeworld of Varl, and came into Chamdar's possession during one of his many pirate raids. They were in disrepair, but with attention, time, and upgrades to more modern standards thanks to the services of HUTT corporation, they are formidable and powerful weapons.
Drawing on and quickly draining a standard power cell, the weapon can fire up to 8 full power shots, or two quad blasts. Repeated use of the quad blast function is not recommended, as it can melt the barrel, despite the finest in cooling and heat exchanging metal and technology. When fired, each barrel unleashes a thick and bright beam of plasma energy, which though limited in range, is extreme in heat and kinetic energy transfer, woe to any unshielded target, and dangerous even to those in some cases.
