In the annals of history, the sentients of the Galaxy have looked to the Republic as a beacon of democracy and hope. Yet, it was not free of its sins. Such being the case of Scouring of the Uba System. Out of fear of the ancient Ubese, agents of the Old Republic fired preemptive strikes against the Uba system, decimating all but one of their planets. The Ubese never forgot the actions the Republic did their people, and have continued to hold onto. It was into this desolate situation that Ammund was born into.
Ammund was born into one of the various, nomadic clans on Uba IV. His mother was Heidi Justeene, making him a nephew to the Pirate Lord

. Growing up, the young Ammund was taught the traditions of his people. He learned an early lesson that only the strong were able to survive on the desolated world of Uba IV. He had a sickly, younger sibling that eventually slowed too much and was consumed by the radioactive world. It was all the more drive for young Ammund to seek a life off of this pitiful planet.
In the whole of his 19 years, Ammund honed his skills as a fighter and a survivalist until he found his opening to leave. His time came when a scout ship of a small, Imperial inspired gang landed on Uba to hide. They did not know how overwhelming the natives could be. Claiming the ship as his own, Ammund took off to the stars to forge a new life.
He now seeks his infamous uncle to at least have a port of reference to return to as he starts his life off Uba IV. He intends to offer his skills as a fighter and tracker to get into the bounty hunting or criminal business. Whichever is more profitable. -
Strengths
- Fighter: Having lived on a hellhole like Uba IV, Ammund had to learn the ways of combat in order to fend off threats like the remaining predators and rival tribes on the desolate planet.
- Survivor: In addition to fighting, Ammund had to learn other skills in order to survive the wastelands. How to forage, scout, and track in the irradiated wilderness.
Weaknesses
- Prejudiced: Due to the actions of the Republic in their past, many Ubese have a distrust of other species. Ammund is very early around other species, but has figured that he needed to put it aside if he's going to make a living in the wider galaxy. However, he remains hateful of any nation that is the heir of the Republic, and of the Jedi because they never spoke up about the atrocities against the Ubese.
- Atmospheric Poison: Having lived on on Uba IV, he was adapted to its polluted air. Without breathing apparatuses to simulate his home atmosphere, he struggles and chokes in Type I air.
- Youthful Recklessness: Even though he is well versed in the arts of survival and battle, Ammund is still young. He feels the need to prove himself worthy in the eyes of his elders.
