PERSONALITY
Korol Bombassa is a many with a very jolly, warming attitude. Whilst he tends to be somewhat loud and dramatic, he tries his best to make those who visit Formos feel at home. Yet, make no mistake, as he is just as cunning as any other privateer or pirate that sails the starry seas. Should you offend his hospitality, or break the laws of his haven, he will not hestitate to bring swift punishments.

STRENGTHS

The Governor: As the present Margrave of Formos, Korol is well-educated in the ways of leadership and governance. From a pirate ship to his private office, he knows how to command with respect and charisma.

Acrofatic: Despite his seemingly rotund body shape, the Margrave is surpsingly agile and fierce as a fighter. He can easily help defend, raid, and attack if he so wished it.

WEAKNESSES

Unrecognized: While he and his Margrave ancestors have represented Formos in the past, no outside governments truly see him as a legitimate leader. The outsiders tend to view him as little more than a pirate with shiny buttons.

IBoisterous: While he tends to have a jovial personality, Margrave Bombassa comes offas a bit overwhelming. He has a loud, hammy personality that some could find irritating.

HISTORY
Korol Bombassa’s story is deeply rooted in a legacy of swashbuckling daring and cosmic opportunism. His lineage can be (allegedly) traced back to Crev Bombaasa, a Corellian pirate who carved out a name for himself in the criminal underbelly of the galaxy. Fleeing the authorities and seeking new territories, Crev’s descendants found a haven on the Outer Rim planet of Formos. This strategically located world, pivotal on the hyperspace routes near the spice mines of Kessel, offered the perfect sanctuary for those seeking to escape the tightening noose of galactic law enforcement.

Over generations, the Bombassa family transitioned from notorious pirates to savvy privateers and then to wealthy smugglers. Their considerable exploits in these endeavors amassed them a considerable fortune. With their newfound wealth and power, they pivoted from being merely outlaws to becoming founders of a new order. They transformed Formos into a veritable pirate republic—a haven where pirates from across the galaxy could find sanctuary. This transformation was built on a strict code established by the Bombassa family, which maintained peace and order, allowing Formos to become a bustling port of call for those seeking neutrality and refuge.

As the influence of the Bombassa family grew, they adopted the regal title “Margrave of Formos,” underscoring their leadership and pivotal role in the planet’s governance. This title was passed down through the generations, each Margrave upholding the legacy of their forebearers while adapting to the changing dynamics of the galaxy.

Korol Bombassa, the latest Margrave, continues to uphold this grand tradition. However, his vision extends beyond the maintenance of Formos as a neutral ground. Inspired by the hardships and challenges faced by his neighbors in the so-called Scar Worlds—a cluster of planets scarred by conflict and neglect—Korol has dedicated his resources and influence to aiding these less fortunate systems. His aim is not only to protect the legacy of his ancestors but to expand it by fostering a coalition of worlds united for mutual support and prosperity.
