The lightsaber crystal is located in the center of Alvos, like with all lightsaber blades.
Alvos has a leather hilt, designed to be soft and comfortable for heated engagements.
Alvos has two layers of metals. There is an agrinium outer layer for dealing with damage, and a titanium inner layer for protecting the lightsaber crystal and other key components of the blade.
Strengths
- Powerful: Due to Alvos's weight, it is good at overpowering enemies and breaking through their defenses.
- Strong: The two layers of agrinium and titanium on Alvos make it able to take a hit or two from an average handgun and still function properly.

When Rakkus became a Sith Padawan, he transitioned from his Initiate's blade to a real, powerful blade. Designed to overpower enemies while being able to take a hit, the Alvos was the first blade that Rakkus personally made.
Unlike most other lightsabers, his hilt is very well protected. Its outer layer is leather for comfort, and its other two layers are tough metals designed to protect the blade and crystal from damage. The outer metal layer is agrinium, which is a very strong material and protects the blade from external harm. The inner metal layer is titanium, meant to protect key areas of the blade such as the lightsaber crystal and the blade emitter.
