Name: Alndys D'Lessio Merrill Monument

Image Source: Could not be located.

Classification: Monument

Location: Within walking distance of the Temple of Illumination on Chalacta, which is the midpoint of the Mara Corridor. The monument is located on one of the ornamental paths around the Temple of Illumination.

Size: A single stone plinth with a metal bust and plaque, as well as two benches.

Population: The benches can each fit two pilgrims comfortably, or three pilgrims uncomfortably. At night, the benches are occasionally used as beds by the homeless. This places the location's normal population in flux between 2 and 6 persons of normal humanoid size -- less when nobody is there, more when tour groups are involved.

Demographics: Immensely variable.

Points of Interest: There is a plaque on the smokestone plinth. It reads:

Alndys 'Alna' D'Lessio Merrill
Master Shipwright
Creator of the Mara Corridor
First Super-Hyperroute Since 3700 BBY
She Gave Us The Stars

Description: The Alndys D'Lessio Merrill Monument is a single life-sized bust on a mirror-polished smokestone plinth. The statue is immensely durable; though it has been treated to look like bronzium, it is phrik, a piece of trivium known only to the sculptor (a Chalactan Adept) and the ruler of Drogheda, as well as the Merrill family. Two stone benches face each other and the statue, forming a loose triangle that can be walked through easily. The monument is located at a point along the meditation trails of the Chalactan Temple of Illumination.

History: The monument was raised by grateful donors from all along the Mara Corridor, with a special grant from the royal family of Drogheda. It commemorates the woman who connected Chalacta with everything from the Corellian Run to the Perlemian.

Links: Phrik obtained via devastating defeat. This seemed like the coolest use for it.
