Towards the onset of the Great Galactic War, The Alliance and the Mandalorian Empire had a brief and tenuous alliance. This quickly turned sour, after the Mandalorians chose to betray the Alliance and bombard the planet of Dagobah. The Brazen act of the Mandalorians caused thousands of Alliance deaths, though there was no chance at revenge for many of the Alliance soldiers who sought it, for there were far more battles to be fought against other enemies, and the acts of allies ensured that the Alliance and Mandalorians never truly saw war against one another.

Yet resentment remained rife among the ranks of the Galactic Alliance Defence Forces, pushed further by the Mandalorian attack on Utapau and their alliance with the Sith Empire. Though tensions cooled with the rise of the new Mandalore, Yasha Mantis, there were still those who found it hard to forgive the Mandalorians for their betrayal. While the majority of the triumvirate works to cool tensions further with the Mandalorians, the Supreme Commander Aryn Teth sides with those who long for vengeance.

Organising his forces and his allies in secret, the Supreme Commander now leads them on an unsanctioned surprise assault on the Mandalorian world of Myrkr, determined to repay the insult and treachery. As fleets and troops begin to mobilize, a call goes out across the Alliance from the Supreme Commander himself.

Rules of Engagement​

​

1. Have fun, we're all here to have a good time, if you have a dispute, try your best to resolve it amicably among yourselves, involving Faction staff and especially RPJs should be a last resort.
2. Fleeters will have a limit of one capital ship, and a number of smaller escorts no bigger than 1000m each, up to a maximum of 10km per writer. Faction admins will control larger fleet numbers for story purposes
3. This skirmish is limited to members of the Galactic Alliance, and the Mandalorian Empire.
