STRENGTHS
  • Heavy Artillery: Designed to engage enemy formations and fortifications at great distances, the AT-HA can anchor itself into the ground and rotate anywhere from twenty degrees to almost a full ninety degrees in a verticle dimension to fire on distant enemy targets.
WEAKNESSES
  • Large Walker: Because of the walker's tall and lumbering design, its an easy target for anti-vehicle weaponry and environmental hazards.
DESCRIPTION

An evolution of the Sith Empire's Artillery Walker, the All-Terrain Heavy Artillery features a larger and more robust body with less discernable hardpoints for enemies to attack; such as an easily identifiable cockpit. The mounted turret mass driver was replaced by a more powerful forward facing mass driver, able to only be pointed in the direction the walker is facing but packing more of an explosive punch.

The most notable addition is the third leg mounted on the front of the walker, which is usually retracted up when the walker is moving. When moving into firing position, the walker's pilots will disengage the third leg's clamps and allow it to fully extend onto the ground. All three legs will then anchor themselves by reinforced drills built into the underside of the walker's feet, stabilizing the vehicle as it fires its main cannon.

AT-HAs were ferried onto the battlefield by Low Altitude Heavy Artillery Transports, which could carry one artillery walker at a time.
