SPECIAL FEATURES
STRENGTHS
  • Transporter: Depending on its configuration, the AT-CT can carry either large amounts of cargo or soldiers with relative ease, thanks to its spacious cargo deck and loading arm
  • Recovery: Each AT-CT comes equipped with a heavy recovery winch, allowing the walker to recover disabled vehicles as large as an HAVw A5 Juggernaut in size
  • Heavily armored: The AT-CT is surprisingly well armored for a vehicle of its type, giving it better survivability against the many threats it might encounter in the field
  • Gun Truck: Though it is normally unarmed, the AT-CT can be fitted with a variety of different weapon emplacements to defend itself with, such as E-Web Heavy Repeating Blasters, NZ/HBR-01A "Haltbar" Heavy Blaster Rifles, NZ RF-600 Rotary Blaster Cannons OR NZ BCG-1.0 Coil Guns
WEAKNESSES
  • Slow: The AT-CT is a slow moving vehicle, with rather poor performance overall. It has especially poor agility and maneuverability
  • Open top: The AT-CT is an open topped design, leaving both its passengers and cargo vulnerable to any sort of incoming fire. Those on board the walker are especially vulnerable to explosions
  • One or the other: The AT-CT can either carry a large amount of cargo OR a large amount of soldiers at once. It cannot carry both at the same time and must choose to act either as a cargo transportation vehicle or troop transport
  • Lover, not a fighter: While the AT-CT can equip a number of different weapon systems at a time, it is not really designed for combat, and doing so reduces its cargo and troop carrying capacity
DESCRIPTION

Much like with the AT-AAW, the AT-CT was too a rather antiquated design by modern standards, and was found to be especially unsuited for the rigors of intergalactic combat operations. To further extend the service life of the vehicle, the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant contracted the N&Z Umbrella Corporation to provide the walker with a number of modest service upgrades.

Chief among these upgrades was the installation of an NZ SS-2eks Secunda Shield System, which is intended to protect the walker from loading accidents, and the granting of the ability to mount a variety of different weapons to the vehicle, such as NZ/HBR-01A "Haltbar" Heavy Blaster Rifles, NZ RF-600 Rotary Blaster Cannons OR NZ BCG-1.0 Coil Guns. This allows the AT-CT to operate in hazardous environments with a much higher chance of survival, though the walker should naturally be kept away from frontline combat as much as possible.

Of course, the walker retains the features found on its predecessor, those being its Towing Winch and Cargo Crane Arm, and overall is a highly reliable and capable transporter of both men and material, though it can unfortunately really carry only one or the other at any given time, since the walker only has so much available space with which to store things.
