TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Modular Weapon Mounts | The AT-AW features 3 separate modular weapons mounts from which it's main armaments can be mounted and swapped with other weapons with the weapons mounts being designed with the purpose of facilitating the swapping of weapons loadouts.
  • Improved Gyroscopic Systems | The AT-AW features improved gyroscopic stabilization systems compared to it's predecessor the AT-RT, allowing it to traverse difficult terrain far more easily.
  • Enhanced Weapon Systems | The AT-AW features enhanced weapons systems that are designed to make the Walker more effective and dangerous on the battlefield when facing enemy forces.
  • Advanced Sensor Package | The AT-AW features an advanced sensor package that also includes a motion scanners capable of detecting and highlighting enemy soldiers when active allowing for better target coordination by the pilots.
STRENGTHS
  • Modular Walker | The AT-AW is highly modular capable of being outfitted with various different combinations of weapons. This allows the Final Dawn to effectively utilize the AT-AW in any situation and further experiment with the walker in combat to come up with potentially new configurations. In addition to this, due to the modularity of the AT-AW, the loadouts can be easily and rapidly switched out depending on the specific purpose the AT-AW needs to fulfill.
  • Speed | Compared to it's predecessor the AT-RT, the AT-AW features greater speed being able to rapidly traverse difficult terrain although due to it's considerable armor and weapons composition, this comes at the cost of maneuverability
  • Heavy Armament | Due to it's High Modularity, the AT-AW is capable of being outfitted with various different loadouts such as an Infantry Support Loadout, an Anti-Air/Anti-Armor Loadout and a Heavy Assault Loadout each consisting of a variety of heavy weapons designed at a fulfilling a specific purpose whether it be supporting infantry units, eliminating enemy aircraft and armored vehicles or storming fortified or entrenched positions, with the heavy loadouts allowing the AT-AW to be very effective in fulfilling said purpose.
WEAKNESSES
  • Light Walker | Despite having heavier armor and weaponry then it's predecessor, the AT-AW is still a Light Walker and thus when faced with Medium or Heavy Tanks/Walkers, it would find itself completely outmatched unless it is supported by more AT-AWs or a more heavier Vehicle.
  • Maneuverability | In order to increase the speed of the AT-AW when compared to it's predecessor the AT-RT, the Light Walker unfortunately sacrifices part of it's Maneuverability making it easier to target by enemy infantry and vehicles.
DESCRIPTION

The AT-AW is a fairly new addition to the arsenal of the Final Dawn, designed as an evolution of the Mawite AT-RT Walker commonly used during the Second Great Hyperspace War from which it is based upon. While based upon the AT-RT, the AT-AW features several modest updates, including improved gyroscopic systems along with greater speed and heavier armor, making it far more stable then it's predecessor and durable. In addition to these upgrades, the AT-AW features a more powerful set of armaments then it's predecessor while also possessing improved weapon systems along with greater visibility thanks to possess a single long viewport for both pilots instead of separate ones for each individual pilot, greatly improving visibility for Walker Pilots in combat situations.

Sticking to the high modularity of it's predecessor, four variants of the AT-AW have been designed each with their specific purpose ranging from Reconnaissance to Heavy Cavalry allowing the AT-AW to be utilized in a variety of different settings granting the Final Dawn with new hardware that could further improve their standing on the battlefield, supplementing the aging vehicles that have been within their arsenal for decades now.
