---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

STRENGTHS:
  • Nobility: The eldest son of a rather prestigious family has earned him many things, an advanced education being the most valuable and observable in his character. Sent to private school by his parents and later into the Naval academy, he has a very profound knowledge of politics and military affairs. Well, since he's from the renowned House Locke, of course his parents have set aside a portion of money for him to access and use at his discretion. The only bad part? He can't access it until he's at least 30 years of age. Still, he's got quite a few ideas for how to utilize his funds.
  • Honed: Although he lacks talent in nearly anything he does, constant hard work and practice always pays off. It may be time consuming, but he always catches on to things once he's tried it a few times and adapts to it. Because of this, he's quite adept in martial arts, combat skills, and a few survival techniques. Not enough to garner renown, but merely enough to keep him alive.
  • Manipulative: A skill he's learned in his earlier years and has became even more masterful as his signature talent. As a young officer and future politician of sorts, the history books and old philosophical lessons he researched always speak of a ruler who is all-seeing and powerful. That figure was able to stir and inspire the masses with merely a few words, delving into the hearts and souls of people to achieve his own goals. That is what Alexander yearns to become.

WEAKNESSES
  • Inexperienced: He may he twenty six, but he's got a helluva long way to go as far as experience goes. Alexander has passed many combat simulators and whatnot, but has never really experienced real life much less than actual combat. Because of this, he's a little naive too.
  • Vengeful: Although he keeps his temper down and easily maintains a cold, calculating visage when placed in situations, he can hold a grudge for a very long time. A very long time. It may not be professional to do so, but he does it anyways and is determined to strike when his opponent is the least prepared.
  • Jealous: There used to be a saying that "a man covets of which he does now have" and that is very true when referring to Alexander. He yearns for things that his neighbors and enemies have, especially things that give them an advantage. Power and wealth are the things of his desire.

APPEARANCE:
Tall and wiry, Alexander Locke gives off the air of a librarian or a teacher more so than an officer in the Republic. Although he lacks fat on his frame and instead has more muscle than most people can imagine, he values his brain more than raw strength. With cold and insightful green eyes, sharp facial features, and a smile that can charm or intimidate anyone he chooses, he instead presents the politician's appearance.

BIOGRAPHY:
Hailing from the fortress world of Anaxes, the Locke family made room for the first of a trio of strong-willed sons. Alexander and his brothers were born into House Locke under Jannek and Madeline Locke. Alexander' father was a mid-ranking naval officer in the Republic Navy, serving valiantly in combat alongside other Admirals of high renown and even commanding his own fleet. Jannek Locke wasn't the greatest military officer but he was looked upon with promise and many other soldiers and sailors had respect for his work and efforts. As for the mother of House Locke, Madeline, she so happened to be one of the numerous war instructors in the famed College of Planetary Security Forces. She taught classes there in aspects such as: finance, economics, and logistics. And so, Alexander and his brothers were raised in comfort and with hopes of a bright future.

Growing up wasn't an easy task for Alexander, especially when he was the offspring of a pair of notable individuals and therefore was tasked with upholding their legacy as well as striving to create his own. And so, he was to be given all of the tools he and his brothers would need in order to become the galaxy's game changers that their parents had planned for them to be. Being treated to an advanced education and was afforded a chance to enter the College of Planetary Security Forces where his mother taught at and his father had graduated from.

Alexander accepts the offer to learn under the tutelage of renowned professors and undertook lessons that would help guide him on his pursuit to greatness. As a naive young man in his late teens, he was taken away by the glory that came with being an officer in the Republic military. Since he was automatically required to serve a few years in either the navy or the army, he was more than willing to accept those terms that came with an outstanding education. That is, until he began to delve even deeper into the workings of life. The Force, rulers of old, ancient texts, and philosophy classes took more of a toll on his mental state than expected. During this time, he began secluded as he searched within himself to discover the answer to this feeling.

He found it.

Inside, this young student and officer longed for the power to rule. He so desired to become a sovereign, someone with a right to rule over people and leave his mark on this galaxy as someone with power, wealth, and fortune. With the prospect of following such a career after college, he knew that this would become his life decision rather than doing what his parents had wanted and expected him to do. And so, that's what he did.

However, later that night following his revelation, he informed his parents of his decision and change of mindset. Alexander hadn't really contemplated the affects of his change of mind and assumed he would be hopeful of his efforts. He was wrong. Both his mother and father were shocked about his dark desire of power and greed, immediately snapping back at him with charges of corruption and treason. He was an officer of the Republic, of course, so it was a very real possibility. Alexander felt a wave of coolness rush over him in his anger, lashing out at his parents, though not physically. Truth be told, he didn't even know what had happened when he opened his eyes to gaze upon a pair of bodies smashed into the far wall.

He didn't even touch them. He didn't even mean for this to happen.

Offer stands, boyo. I think we've only got, like, four naval officer PCs. I pretty much NPC the rest. Would be nice to have one less person to NPC :p

I've got like 5 naval-based characters of my own on here. I was hoping for something less brash than my other characters.
Oh, it's you, Arcis....

Now I get it.

The Ambitious Noble
Perhaps someday we will both rule over our own dominions, then duke it out in a glorious war that will destroy the very galaxy we seek to control! :p

From one ambitious man to another...HI! :D

If we're going by last names, then the Zambranos, VanDervelds, and DeWinters must've all had rabbits for ancestors...
