Created by Sawa for the villages and mines around her fortress, the shifer uses the knowledge that she gleamed from sith and force users over the centuries. It functions essentially like a molecular fuurnace breaking materials in this case generally rock, bone and lesser metals that don't have as much value and converts them into aurodium which can be sold as within the aurodium mines around her village they have it as nothing goes to waste now. The increased profits they can get have allowed the villages to have a comfortable standard of living and it is considered a primary example of how a region can thrive... they do not know about the shifters bbbut several have been sent out around the commonwealth to buffer the more rural areas that are not near cities or within the new walls of defense around them.
