DESCRIPTION
Alashgaan, more commonly known as Talon Sheath are a Rishi weapon and is comparable to bladed gauntlets or weaponised gloves that cover a Rishi's talons. They consist of a leather harness with sharp talon-like blades attached that both extend and increase the effectiveness of their talons. They are sometimes used to assist with climbing but are primarily a hunting and offensive tool.

Historically, the weapon was the symbol of a group known as the Stormtalons, an intertribal group that formed to protect themselves from their larger more powerful rivals. Over time, their weapons were adopted to assist in hunting, particularly larger predators such as the Kell Dragon. Many of these weapons are unique to the user and sometimes perceived as a reflection of one's achievements. As a result, they have become tied to status the most valuable examples including rare or exotic materials or intricate engravements representing the individual's accomplishments.

For Pyeth, his were forged shortly after his trials on the home world, combining traditional materials with modern technologies that better suit his Jedi lifestyle.
