- Phrik plating with a base layer of Durasteel 421A on his shoulders, forearms, pectorals, outer shins, outer thighs, knee caps providing extreme protection over these areas without compromising movement or dexterity.

- Electrical protection system allows Aiden to dissipate Electrical attacks throughout his body to either safely discharge the attacks into the ground he's standing on, or into strikes if he's close enough. This includes using a Sith's Force Lightning to power this system and use the energy generated against them.

- Armor plates are able to withstand multiple heavy lightsaber blows allowing him to stand and fight even Jedi/Sith in close quarters. The plating covers major points of contact to include forearms, shoulders, pectorals, outer shins, outer thighs, knees, and the back of his hands allowing for him to utilize not only blade to blade against opponents, but unarmed vs blades as well.
- Electrical dissipation and protection is woven through the plates along Aiden's Rig and connects to his hands and feet allowing for him to take electrical attacks including Sith Lightning and Jedi Electrical Judgement and convert it into power to give his melee attacks additional punch or to be used in conjunction with other weapons.
- Armor is light enough to be worn underneath other protective clothing, allowing him to conceal it in regular day to day travel.
- Armor has massive gaps that can be exploited by someone with ranged weapons, as it was meant for Aiden to deal with people in close combat. And since he's not an actual Jedi, that means these can be exploited by someone who can attack from multiple angles with overwhelming firepower outside of close quarters.
- Electrical system is able to be overloaded if hit by a particularly powerful blast of lightning or other types of electric attacks, and if the happens the rig will automatically attempt to discharge the entirety of the charge as quickly as possible into the nearest surface.
- Armor has zero protection against radiation and high/low pressure as Aiden's Cyborg body doesn't normally require such protections, but he still needs to breathe which requires an oversuit. Severe enough radiation will cause his artificial muscle fibers to fail however, as they will essentially tear themselves apart by random extremely powerful spasms which will require an oversuit to protect against.
Aiden's combat harness is an extremely focused gear with one thing in mind. Absolutely dominate close combat. And with this in mind it does its job extremely well, allowing Aiden to use his superior speed and agility to perform superhuman feats up close to engage and destroy the enemy in close quarters. The armor plates placed at key locations are made of pure Phrik with a Durasteel 421A underlay, which is interwoven across the entire rig with a capacitor sub system, to allow the dissipation of electrical attacks such as lightning, or if Aiden wants to, for him to store the inert energy and use it against his opponents with hand or feet strikes. This makes him a nightmare to face as an opponent on the ground up close, even for a Jedi or Sith. The placement of the plates allows for Aiden to even go unarmed against blade wielding opponents, be it lightsabers or vibroblades, using the plating as points of contact to deflect or even "catch" the blade in the fins that protrude from his shoulder or forearm plates. And since each plate mounts directly onto Aiden's own cybernetic body, installation of the plates is relatively easy, requiring only the plate in question and that Aiden set his cybernetics to accept the bonding between the two of them.
There is however a downside to this, as Aiden's combat rig was designed for only close quarters, anyone with a ranged weapon can put him at a severe disadvantage as there are massive gaps in the armor all over, giving a good shot a chance to land severe blows on Aiden at range, including his unprotected face. He has to be wary of this and also situations that require him to expose the rest of his body as it will tear his artificial muscles apart, as the lack of total coverage leaves him wide open for this. Another thing that is left wide open is that Aiden is very much exposed to pressure based environments such as a vacuum, or overpressure from large blasts and grenades. He is still human enough that he needs to breathe, and while internal augs keep most drugs and poisons from doing much, a lack of air will definitely put him down from the count. The armorweave over his torso will keep the fragmentation from killing him, but he will definitely feel it if you set off a grenade next to him.
So in effect this is an extremely focused combat rig, with a focus on melee and close quarters combat, and while it suffers at range, radiation or explosives, it does its intended job very, very well.
