Who are the Agents of Ossus?
In simplest terms, it is a fraternity of Lore Keepers and Jedi wanderers dedicated to counter-Inquisition activities and safeguarding the lightside's teachings at any cost. Agents aren't loyal to any single Order but instead devoted to the singular task of thwarting the Saaraishash. They are divided into two distinct organizations, the Librarian's Assembly is a collection of archivists, historians, librarians and other scholars all devoted to studying the Force and keeping its secrets safe from Sith purges. The Reliquary is a loose confederation of Jedi Shadows who hunt artifacts and if necessary Inquisitors themselves for the sake of the greater good.
Yeah but why?
Ever wanted to write a Jedi secret agent only to remember that spies are awful people? Do you agonize over what the Jedi Code might mean in a wholly deterministic universe? This might be the place for you. With our dual focus on the value of knowledge and understanding our enemy the Agents hope to provide story opportunities for the non-violent and those with a serious Sith axe to grind where both can feel like they are contributing to the same worthy purpose.
This sounds relevant to my interests. What's the catch?
Like the Svivren Jedi Enclave, the Agents of Ossus exist in a state of half-Outer Planets Alliance subgroup half-open platform. Participation in or involvement with the OPA is not a requirement but due to the nature of my position as a major faction admin the groups' activities will most likely relate in some way to OPA's broader rebel operations. That said I know there is a certain other group currently engaged in Sith hostilities that might jive with this concept and who am I to turn you away.
