DESCRIPTION

The process by which these body gloves were created was vastly similar to that which resulted in Akure Executive Leatherworks' Cater Coat. The exception being that unlike the Cater coat, for whatever reason, a hidden flaw of this bodyglove was that despite intimate study and knowledge, the conversion of Force Lightning into something it protects against utterly was not wholly achieved. Instead, it will keep from any physical damage like burning or such happening. However, pain and neurological function of being shocked by thousands of volts of raw mystic energy means that the wearer will likely take a few moments to breathe once the pain hits, and may even be stopped in their tracks.

In the end, it retains the fabled resistance of many things terentatek hide is known for, except the following, as listed and noted:

 • Mentalism/Illusion

 • Force Lightning (partial resistance) (1 Unique Set is Fully Immune)

 • Force Push/Crush (partial resistance) (1 Unique Set, same one as above, Fully Immune)

 • Force-Enhanced Strength

 • Telekinetically thrown objects

 • Anything which targets the head, hands, or other exposed areas

 • Other exceptions as reasonable
As a whole, the Terentatek Body Gloves are rather similar to just another layer of skin, or any other well made body-glove for warriors. They can, obviously, be comfortably worn underneath clothes or armor. They are lightweight and have also been treated with a flame-retardant polymer in order to give its wearers basic protection synonymous with most modern body gloves.

The crafting that was used for these, unlike the version made for the Templars by [member="Isley Verd"] in his youth, with the full reagents and knowledge of a Master level alchemist who was trained by the one who originated the process, and in the comfort of his own workshop. Once the prototype was done, it was sent to Akure for production and creation. Not being the exact one to oversee and create the product in each one, there were flaws from the prototype that included only a partial resistance to Force Push/Crush and Force Lightning, which the original did not possess weaknesses to.

Noting the differences, it annoyed Ostanes slightly, but there was no material flaw in any of the subsequent iterations, it just seemed it needed a more personal touch of a Master Alchemist. Eventually the flaw was accepted as passable for a production product, and a limited and exclusive line was started, the AEL “Force-Breaker” line, a joint venture between ArmaTech’s Draco Vereen operating with [member="Ijaat Mereel"] in their joint venture of Gotal'Veman and Akure Executive Interstellars own Ostanes. The bodyglove was, hopefully, just the beginning of things.

OOC NOTE: These are highly elite, limited, and sold to discerning customers only. Those just cutting their teeth on war, and those without resource, may not even receive a response to a request for one. Each purchase will require an IC thread wherein the owner not only pays the asked price (usually a bit of knowledge or rare artifact), but signs a retainer to be at the service of Ostanes & Akure Executive for one particular favor without question and with respect to personal morals of the purchaser, should the need arrive. The unique variant without limited resistances to Lightning and Force Push/Crush is intended to be given as a gift to a select client and former employee of Akure Executive. There shall be no more than 5-10 of these suits in existence at a single time.

[member="Ostanes"], This item is lesser to the extent of previous made armors, and made by someone who is very fluent with the tech of Sith Alchemy. As well, being restricted to those who you deem worthy to get this. Fair enough for me.

Most items that have force immunity do require some development, 10 post dev should suffice other wise the submission looks solid. Also please always spoiler images when they're large. Thank you.
