Suggestion Adoptable Character Forum / Subforum

I may have pitched this before but I figured I’d toss it out again.

I think we should have an adoptable character forum. It could be a sub forum of the LFG, but I think it needs to be separate than the other LFG posts.

Basically this forum is where people would throw up details about characters they would like someone else to write. Like family members, faction players, a certain enemy, a romance parter, etc and then other writers could agree to write those characters.

The reason I think this should be separate from the LFG is because these threads would sort of be like the bounties. They would sit there until someone wants to pick them up. If they are just in the regular LFG they get buried.

I think it would be a fun way to make new connections and see families etc grow.

Feel free to tell me if this is a dumb idea. Just be kind.

I think you can use the request tag for this in the lfg?

Indeed, you can. It's fine to ask the question again if you've forgotten the answers, but we definitely don't need a "Sub-Forum" for the LFG for family RP. It already has the built-in feature, when used correctly, not to mention that adding more sub-forums adds to unnecessary clutter and can make RP even more inaccessible for the masses because it's tucked away behind walls.

If you're really struggling that badly to find people to write family members, you can try starting a Discord for like-minded individuals, but in my experience, organic RP is the best way to form those bonds. That's how you know if you jive as writing partners and if you're on the same page.

Good to see you, though Kitter Bitters Kitter Bitters - I hope your LOA went well.
