A product following in the footsteps of the Tampson Consolidated Covert Uniform, the company has finally produced armor that utilizes the same color-changing technology. While the armor does not make a wearer impossible to see, it makes them much harder to see because the suit is constantly changing its color to match its background from all angles. Only the most discerning eye can make out the form of someone wearing the suit while they are on the move. While they are still, they are almost impossible to discern with the naked eye. Of course, sensors may obviate this advantage. Cortosis weave provides excellent energy resistance, including against light-sabers. Sensors and communications are top-notch. Any operative in active-matrix armor is at the bleeding edge of stealth capability. By avoiding projected camouflages like holo-fields and similar devices, the suit keeps from having a huge electromagnetic signature which might actually draw more than normal amounts of attention on portable scanners. Low observability is the name of the game. Active Matrix Armor- it's the best thing next to being invisible.
