Valery maneuvered her X-wing through the battle that was slowing down immensely, and joined Lao-ta right as she entered the ship's hangar. Cannon fire immediately disappeared, but was replaced by rifles and pistols pelting her shields over and over again. It had no effect though, and only gave Valery an idea as to what was waiting for them. A ship of this size wouldn't have a huge amount of soldiers stationed on-board, so the rather large amount of incoming fire suggested they had sent most of their soldiers here.

It would make no difference.

As soon as her ship had touched down, the canopy opened and Valery jumped out with both of her lightsabers already drawn into her hands. Violet blades ignited, and rather than shifting into a very defensive form, Valery went on the offensive. As soon as her feet touched the ground, an explosive wave of Force energy rippled across the metal floor panels, blasting some of them up into the air before the shock wave impacted their defensive line.

The force behind it wasn't lethal, but very few would be able to remain standing.

"Now! Push forward!" Valery called out, as the Force flowed through her body to augment her speed and strength. She wasn't going to give them much time to rise and resist.

Master Noble leapt from her cockpit and unleashed a wave of telekinetic power sending soldiers flying everywhere.

"Now! Push forward!"
And she did. drawing on the force to strengthen her body and augment her speed she rushed forward in a blur of blue and began her assault. Leaning heavily on the motions of Shien she deflected fire from those struggling to regain their footing back at the shooters. One bolt to the shoulder. Another into one's side. She sliced blasters in half disarming opponents, crippling them with thrusts of her sabers through legs and arms. She did her best to avoid death and dismemberment, but it was a difficult task. She reached out with the force grabbing two of the enemies and knocking their heads together sending them into unconsciousness. She'd killed already today and would likely have to kill again, but sparing life where she could, especially those of the common soldier as opposed to their sith masters was a worthwhile endeavor. She would not however jeopardize the mission, and as one soldier activated a grenade she pushed with the force and sent him flying back into a bulkhead where the grenade exploded before he could throw it. She felt his presence disappear from the force, but she couldn't spare the time to contemplate his death. There were more enemies still.

Following her telekinetic blast, Lao-ta Jumped into action and fought her way through the first line of defenders like a true Jedi. She wasn't trying to kill or cause significant injury, and just apply enough force to disable the enemies who would never show her the same kind of mercy. That was a true testament to Jedi philosophy, and Valery matched her in that approach. Because moments after her blast, she was fighting alongside the Jedi Knight.

But much like her, she also knew that not every life could be saved. From the grenade thrower to the next enemy that appeared right in front of them — armored soldiers wielding what they'd easily recognize as flamethrowers.

"Watch out!" Valery called out, before she raised a hand in time to project a barrier of Force energy. The sea of flames warped around it, but she wasn't burned by them. The soldiers continued to fire while they walked closer and closer, hoping the intensity of the flames would overwhelm them.

They'd have to do something quick.

The two jedi danced through the soldiers, their blades a whirl of colorful light as one enemy after another fell before them.

"Watch out!"
As the flames rushed out to engulf them Lao-ta spun into position behind the jedi master where she was safe behind the barrier. Flamethrowers. What to do? The weapons were the problem. She needed to neutralize them without detonating the packs carrying the fuel. Calmly and carefully she let her senses feel the barrels of the weapons. She would cut off the fuel. That was her answer. Letting the shape of the weapons become clear in her mind's eye she wrenched them all upwards with the force sending the coursing flames into the air. Then she willed the force to close in on the weapons, crushing the barrels of each weapon closed with remarkable precision, and cutting off the flow of the flammable liquid to the ignition source at the end of the barrel.

"Now would be an excellent time to lay down your weapons." She said as she stepped forward from the barrier. One of the armored soldiers however seemed not ready to quit and letting his flamethrower fall at his side pulled a pistol instead. Before he could fire the jedi knight gave an almost casual gesture, telekinetically knocking the blaster into the helmeted man's face before wrenching it out of his grasp. A pity she thought, and touched each of their minds creating a fog of confusion as she had with the fighter pilot minutes ago. Hands that had begun questing for the grips of sidearms grasped feebly at the air or raised to clutch at their owner's heads. "I don't think they're ready to surrender master." She whispered, bringing her blades again to a ready position.

While Valery maintained a barrier to shield them both, she could feel the Jedi Knight's efforts through the Force. With a telekinetic flick, their barrels were turned up, before being crushed along with their fuel lines. The flames stopped immediately as a result, and Valery was quick to drop the barrier she had used to protect them. One of the two attackers, however, wasn't quite done yet and drew his pistol in an attempt to gun down the Jedi.

A futile attempt.

With another telekinetic display, Lao-Ta turned his own weapon against him, before inserting more confusion in their minds. Valery perked a brow, noticing they were still not willing to surrender, and raised her own hand. Both men began to levitate, and with very little effort, Valery slammed them into the ground. They would live, but they weren't getting up anytime soon or without help. Good enough, for now.

"We'll have to control the bridge, but taking the turbolift is risky. They'll definitely shut it down..." she hummed in thought then grinned. "If you don't mind getting a bit dirty and sweaty, let's climb up the maintenance shafts."

Master Noble was right. They hadn't exactly been subtle in their approach. Normal paths to the bridge would be out of the question. Lao-ta nodded.
"Maintenance tunnels it is then." She stepped past the soldiers groaning on the floor where Valery had left them and moved to a screen on the wall. With a few keystrokes she located the nearest access hatch for their new path. She quickly located it and with a few quick cuts from her lightsaber freed the panel from locks and hinges then ripped it away with a telekinetic gesture. "After you master."
