A Shadow Encounter (Silver Shadows v Bryn'adul)

Reports had come in about Lowick, the planet had very suddenly and quite worryingly gone silent. The planet was not far from SJO space and with the growing faction of Bryn’adul, a faction that the SJO had little information on, there was fear that something sinister had taken place on Lowick. An assignment had been given to Ilwynog, the leader of the Silver Shadows, as well as the other Shadows to travel to Lowick find out what happened to the world and then to report to the Assembly about what they have found. It was a perfect opportunity for the Silver Shadows to show their skills in infiltration, investigation and why the Shadows are a crucial branch of the SJO. Charged with leading the mission to Lowick, Ilwynog has organised his Shadows and was preparing themselves at the hangar of the SJO Rest.

Ilwynog was wearing their usual full body armour and cloak, this time with a single Lightsaber attached to their hip and a blaster pistol on the other side. Adjusting their arm guard, Ilwynog waited patiently as they scanned over the notes. It seemed too odd, why would a once active planet suddenly go quiet? Even Sith worlds tended to have shown activity in the past, they had a bad feeling that this mission would reveal something much more sinister at play. There wasn’t much that Ilwynog had learnt of Bryn’adul but the faction was expanding, as it expanded, more worlds were falling silent. That was all that Ilwynog had learnt from their studying of Bryn’adul in the archives. It was what made this mission so important, they could learn much needed information about the faction and whether or not they posed a threat to the SJO.

One last look over the report, Ilwynog tapped their helmet as they thought about the risks of the mission. There were a number of problems that could arise so Ilwynog tried to think of a solution that would remedy so of potential issues. If it was under martial law then it would be tricky entering or exiting the planet, if something worse had happened then there could be a fleet of enemies wanting for them, which was something that Ilwynog wasn’t sure that they could handle a full fleet attacking them. Shadows were a small group so there was much in the way of firepower to handle a full on fleet or army. Ilwynog just hoped that they were going to find that nothing was too problematic.

While she was bussy looking over the base's defenses from within the secondary command facility located at the above ground levels of the newly and quickly erected Military base on Lorwick, Hraelga was overwhelmed by the feeling that something was off. She did not know wether this was simply her hunter's instinct of the result of the mutagenic splicing and cloning which had shaped her into the warrior that she eventually came to be, but she could feelin her gut that there was something coming and she did not like to feel such uncertainty.

Annoyed by this fact, she had a few drones call upon every marauder and every higher ranking warrior within the complex, certain as she was that her brethren would've felt this as well, this feeling of unease and uncertainty. She herself wasted little to no time to go to the Zealot barracks to gather up a few teams of what she deemed to be the Bryn'adûl's most efficient warriors. After all, she had been one prior to the events on those massive droid stations and she knew the strengths and weaknesses of the zealots better than anyone save for perhaps the Creator himself.

With the Zealots already gathering as she entered their barracks, Hraelga let out a deep sigh. "There is no certainty that we are under attack or that we are being observed, but as our tennets state, we must never be the prey, always the hunter." Raising her clawned hand upward, clenching it into a fist, she let out a soft chuckle. "No matter what is hiding within the shadows of this planet, it will learn the truth, our truth. We do not fear the shadows or the darkness, no...the darkness and the shadows fear us, the Bryn'adûl. Now gather all your gear, meet up with the rest of the troups at the Orkale deployment facilities. We will be departing soon...let's enjoy ourselves a fresh Hunt."

A planet suddenly going dark isn't something you hear about everyday. Reading the given information on the assignment made Ezekiel feel a bit sick to his stomach, not because the assignment was going to be high risk, but because of what they could find out while on the assignment. Something like this wasn't going to be a small occurrence. No, whatever was happening on Lowick was big and may be the start of something larger. They needed to find out for sure what was going on

Wearing the armor provided to the shadows with a blaster pistol holstered at his side , Ezekiel arrived to the hanger where they were to gather. He saw [member="Ilwynog Cysgod"] waiting for the others. Ezekiel was sure that the leader of the shadows knew he had arrived, so the operative didn't say anything. Ezekiel didn't know much about the leader and felt a bit unnerved by the figure, but that wouldn't stop him from accomplishing their objective. Until it was time to deploy, Ezekiel would wait and think about what they could encounter on Lowick.

Bryn'adûl Installation - Brute Barracks

"Gragh!" The Captain snarled as he launched one of his Brutes to the ground, sneering with glee between heavy breaths. Another victory for him, another exercise in Maerd-Ka. Another reminder why he was Captain. Galak waltzed over to the fallen Brute, leaning down slightly to offer a hand to help him up and, just for his own pleasure; a smug grin stretched the scaled skin of his face.

The fallen Baedurin froze in the shroud of Galak's shadow, his twitching paused as he turned over with some resistance. His face was full of scorn and frustration, this was the fifth time this cycle Galak had won. But this time, it appeared he'd broken Balac's arm. Or perhaps dislocated it? From this angle, he truly couldn't tell.

"Don't go where your enemy leads you, blood-brother." The Captain chastised, knowing full well that even he told him that a hundred-thousand times; even then the Brute Grenadier would not listen to his Captains advice.

Sitting up with the help of Galak, Balac felt at his shoulder.

"You dislocated my shoulder - Again!" The Baedurin barked out in their brutish tongue. Galak had no response but to groan exaggeratedly; filled with a teasing muse. Galak had no time to baby his younger blood-brethren. Mistakes were fine, but to not learn from them was a weakness he could not forgive.

"You need to learn. Learn or you'll die. C'mere." Galak called over the smaller Balac, taking his arm in his open palm. Nobody enjoyed getting bones reset, but it was necessary.

"Just repeat the Tenants in your head, brethren." It was a genuine suggestion, but it was also a distracting. Just as Balac begun to reply, Galak yanked backward to pull the arm free before resetting it properly. The Grendarier replied with a grumble, maybe he knew the Captain was going to do it, who knows.

In the corner of his eye, the door to the Barracks spar area shifted open; with a Zealot entering. Immediately, the rooms atmosphere grew a little colder. Brutes shuffled away to themselves, what was an audience moments ago were disquieted and inattentive 'Brutes'. Only Galak gave the Zealot any attention as he, well he had to.

"State your name and rank, Zealot." Galak greeted the Zealot by thrusting his fist against his chest, the Zealot did the same.

"Trasaria, Zealot Class. Minor." The female Aeravalin replied with a nod.

The voice was distinctly female, hard to tell under all the armour. There was a sudden bustle of energy among the Brutes, some with laughter. It wasn't often they got time to themselves. It was either a supply raid, a system needing undertaking or some border skirmish or talkative refugee encampment. But now, it was just them. His Drael needed to recuperate after the Droid Station attack.

The briefing on Lowick was short and to the point; it was a relatively simple world on the galactic scale, it's people weren't any great merchants, nor craftsmen or builders. They were fishermen, hunters, and farmers. Mostly for themselves, while any great excess generated by the populations were shipped off-world, making surprisingly good delicacies and meals. It was to noted, though, that the natives, Pa'lowick, were some of the ugliest beings he'd laid eyes on. And he'd seen some things out there.

Now the Pa'lowick, while being ugly, were also introverts, not participating much in the galaxy, whether it be in wars, politics, or disputes. In short, if it didn't have to do with a fish or a squirrel, it didn't matter to them. With this said, the planet suddenly going dark certainly warranted answers. It was a soft world, ripe for the taking of anyone that wanted it. The fact it survived as it did for as it did for this long, was probably more due to the fact that it was overlooked. And with the hostile factions the rise and pushing, well, a planetary welfare check like this was needed.

His gear for the mission was his standard getup, no extra additions needed. His saber, his blaster, and his skills. They weren't an invasion force, and this wasn't a war they were stepping into. Well, not yet anyway.

They'd be travelling planet-side together, and so to that end they'd rendezvous at a set point. He found the Lead along with someone he assumed to be an operative, already waiting. "These Bryn'daul-", he started, approaching the two, "-do we know anything more than, say, just a name? Like are they an actual species, or are they culture, like the Mandolorians?" The answer would serve them well, in knowing the distinction. Species tended to be more aggressive when on the war path. But cultures like the Mandolorians were more skilled.

Seers were not typically seen during battles and combat. When assaulting this world, Selkollar stayed away for his own health and needs. When the battle for this decrepit battle began, Selkollar was far away, watching from his screens. He had watched the various units carrying out their orders, and enjoyed them slaughtering the natives. Now, the installation had been set up and Selkollar was there to give his blessing. The Hierarch was a religious position in the Bryn'adul, one that gave him access to Tathra. Through him, commanders could ask for advice, meetings with Tathra, etc. If anything, Selkollar was here to keep morale up, even though it was mostly for appearance. The Bryn'adul did not waver under the same stress that others did. Selkollar stayed for the feasts and celebration, though he did not partake of any food. He provided guidance to those that asked for it, and mentored the youngest Force adepts that were still here.

This day in particular, Selkollar was getting ready to leave and return back to the capital. He had much to prepare for, and his honor guard loaded their transports. Meditating in the Temple while they did so, Selkollar felt a a change in the air. Drael had a bestial connection to the Force and Seers were no different. Their cosmic attachment to the Force gave them slight pre-cognition, though not enough to tell the immediate future. Even still, Selkollar could feel that new blood would be shed on this planet today. Another conflict? The natives were pacified of course, their cities still burning. No, this must be an outside source. Dressed in his usual robes, Selkollar lifted himself off of the ground as he searched for the meaning of this particular change. No doubt others that were immersed in the Force would feel this as well. Had they come under attack? The gaunt, tall Aeravalin stood tall as he took a deep breathe. His body wracked with pain, his health had still not recovered from the slight sickness he had the week prior to the battle. His legs were still weak, So Selkollar lifted himself a few inches in the air, and began moving towards the exit.

Once outside, his tired blackened eyes scanned the skies for any answer to his precognition. Suddenly, like a scent to the wind, Selkollar received a slight whiff of something he hungered for.

Jedi.

He had abducted Force-users in the past, experimented on their abilities to learn everything he could from them. Most of them were drifters, exiles from their orders. Sometimes he would be able to grab up Padawans or Apprentices, but nobody stronger then that. Anybody too important the relevant societies might go snooping through the different planets. The same energies he felt from exiled Jedi he could feel now, somewhere near the planet itself. It was faint, barely a whisper but it was undeniably there. He would have no idea where of course, but he knew the Bryn'adul would be ready for them.

It seemed that not as many people had turned up for the meeting as Ilwynog had hoped but it didn't matter too much, the smaller they were the less attention that they could draw to themselves. They looked around at the others and listened to the questions that Lex had, checking the notes that they had, Ilwynog shook their head. "Hm. No, the notes are very limited, these people came from nowhere from what we could really tell and all we know is there name really. I think they operate in a similar manner to Mandalorians since they don't have a homeworld that I know of." Ilwynog shrug their shoulders since there was little that they could offer in terms of information, it was unusual indeed but there was little they could do to find the information before now.

Stretching out, they looked around then crossed their arms. "I think we need to take a stealth ship and land on Lowick, if we can find information on the faction, their leadership and motivations that would be ideal, as well as finding what happened to the people of Lowick." They were curious to find more information on the faction that had caused planets to fall silent. "Come on, lets get a ship and get moving, if any of the others are joining us, I will tell them to meet us on the ship." Ilwynog sent a message to the other Shadows that they were leaving Kashyyyk to head on the mission. Hopefully they would be able to meet them on time.

It had been done, the Zealots, with in particular her own former team had been ordered to mobilise as soon as the command would be given. Hraelga expected the Zealots to perform their duty admirably, as they were after all the hunters and assassins of the Bryn'adûl. Their presence was not to be heard or seen, but to be felt, a small tidbit in their function which explained their vastly lower numbers compared to the brutes and the drones. It was sadly also a seeming reason for contempt coming from both other divisions within the Bryn'adûl, as they saw the Zealots as their lessers, scoffing at their specialized strengths rather than their overall brute force. Luckily for them though, Hrealga had been a zealot prior to her ascension into the ranks of the marauders, making her a rather useful person in the cohesion between all the divisions.

"Send someone to ask master Selkollar that his presence is desired within the secondary command center," The Marauder scoffed at one of the Zealot Minors before making her way to the Brute barracks, wondering why she had not yet heard from the other divisions yet. With her gut feeling still telling her something was odd, not right, she made haste towards the barracks on her own, her spindly legs allowing her to pick up her pace considerably.

As soon as she arrived, Hrealga noticed the female Zealot Minor standing in front of Galak; a hardened veteran of a good few battles and conquests who was seemingly the highest ranking brute present on the base and immediately noticed how the rest of the brutes completely ignored the zealot who was simply doing her duty as requested. Thus, the Marauder calmly placed her clawed hand upon the female zealot who actually was taller and broader than Hraelga, who was uniquely smaller than her kin, a lot more slender, yet unlike most of the brutes, zealots or even the drones, had the unique mutagen of having an insanely hard and durable carapace covering practically allof her body. "Brute Captain Galak, it seems your subordinates desire another scarring do you not agree?"

A pair of golden eyes without pupils glared at the brutes present in the barracks, Hraelga's fanged maw cracked slightly in an attempt to show a cruel grin. "You are being summoned to the secondary command center and you are to ready your men for combat...The Seer Selkollar has also been summoned for the command. The Bryn'adûl hunt, they kill, they conquer...they don't get drunk on a mere single victory, is this understood?"

Ezekiel was surprised to see that the others didn't show up, but it didn't bother him too much. The operative was used to working alone, made it easier when infiltrating. most times It also made things nerve racking since you wouldn't get any assistance if things went south, so he was grateful to have two capable allies watching his back for the mission. They were more than capable considering their skills, which would make it difficult for Ezekiel to close the gap between him and their skills. That's fine though. Ezekiel was usually always the underdog but got things done regardless. He would prove to them that he's an asset to them during this mission.

"So how are we going to operate when we get to Lowick? Keeping a good distance between each other while also being able to help at a moments notice, or are we splitting up once we touch down on the planet?" Ezekiel asked this as he followed the leader to a ship. Best to understand what to do as soon as they arrive to the planet. "We could probably find out more splitting up, but it'll be more dangerous, especially since we don't know what's going on there."

Galak was prepared to joke, delighted at the opportunity to demean a Zealot. Even a female, perhaps she would've made for a good mate if she wasn't a pious Zealot. But before Galak could've even bother to think of some witty remark before his eyes found themselves drawn to two golden eyes lingering low.

Her eyes were apparent before her form was, but the crimson miasma of plated skin was unmistakable. Marauder Nacht. Galak stomped his boot, causing a silence to cover the room as all of the Brutes within the barracks turned their attention to their Captain. The Brutes may have been rowdy, but they had discipline.

Galak fell to one knee, right fist against the Drael emblem on his chest. "Marauder Nacht, my Unit is at your service." Galak replied. Regardless of what he thought of Zealots, a Marauder was a Marauder. He had no qualms following orders.

Hraelga looked at Galak, letting out a soft scoff when the captain of the brutes present at the military instalation made his formal greeting, saluting her as was expected from a lower ranking member in the bryn'adûl society. "At ease captain," Taking a step closer, giving him a tap on the shoulder beforemotioning him to raise himself, the female marauder took a gander at the brutes under his command. "I do not have any qualms with your brutes enjoying the fruits of their labor, but you must not forget that we must be vigilant at all times. The fleshlings in this galaxy may be weak and inferior to our kind, but they are also treacherous and scheming, we have yet to increase our numbers upon this planet and as such it is only those present within this installation that are currently preserving our hold upon this useless rock."

Noticing the brute with the limping arm, the Marauder couldn't refrain from chuckling slightly. It seemed that brutes were indeed brutish after all. "Captain Galak, I want you to come with me to the secondary command center to discuss our strategies on the future for our presence upon Lowick. We are after all expected by the Creator to reform this place to the needs of the Bryn'adûl and the Draelvasier as a whole," She turned around and calmly took a few steps away from Galak, turning her head towards him when she had done so. "After all, a seasoned veteran such as yourself might have a good view on what is necessary to fully secure our hold."

Ilwynog looked over to Ezekiel, a newcomer to the Silver Shadows and the first non-Force User to be a part of the group, or at least the first to Ilwynog's memory. Nodding their head, it was good to talk out strategy while on the way to the planet. They would have time to spare while travelling to Lowick. Stepping into the ship, Ilwynog tapped into the ship's navicomputer the coordinates, they wanted to arrive a little out of the way so that they had a chance to sneak in undetected. It wouldn't be easy necessarily but better to try and sneak in from afar than to struggle getting in and alerting everyone that there was spies in their area.

The ship ascended and Ilwynog allowed the ship's droid to take over the reigns of the ship as they moved to the main room, looking over at the other two members of the Shadows with them. "I think we should remain close to each other, this is a very dangerous operation since we are going in blind, however it is important that we find the information that helps us understand what happened to Lowick to go silent like this. Information on the Bryn'adul faction and what their goals are is secondary." Ilwynog stated as they moved to pull up information on Lowick. "This is all we know about the planet and its population, read the info and lets come up with a plan of action." Ilwynog stretched as the ship went into hyperspace.

As the ship came out of hyperspace, not far from Lowick, Ilwynog checked their gear and ensured that they had enough ammo and weapons. "Get ready, either of you two expert pilots? I'm average personally." Needed a skilled pilot to get them undetected.

Selkollar, his mind still on the Jedi as he attempted to ascertain their location, was interrupted by a lowly Drael. The aging Seer looked down at what appeared to be some type of Zealot or Marauder. He wasn't sure which honestly. The low Drael castes always bothered him, especially as their positions changed and evolved with the Drael conquests. The lower caste greeted Selkollar with the customary fist thrust, and Selkollar nodded in affirmation. He would not respond the same way, as he only did so for those that earned that respect.

"Hierarch, Marauder Hreagla has requested your presence at the secondary command center!" squeaked out the Drael, trying to keep his composure. Many Drael had never met the Hierarch face to face, but when you did, it was hard to miss him. Seeing such an aged Drael was rare these days, and Selkollar would be proud of that fact if his bones didn't hurt every time he walked. Realizing he had not replied to the lowly Drael, Selkollar waved him away.

Marauder Hrealga was a zealot and zealots were not fun to deal with. When their rank was first instituted by Tathra, Selkollar knew they had value. However, that did not change the fact that Selkollar was worried about their functions. Being the covert wing of the Drael military meant they were especially deadly. Selkollar had not yet met Hrealga, but he had heard of her value in battle. She led her troops well on the droid station attack, something he watched with fervent curiosity. She might of felt the Jedi as well, or atleast have news about the impending attack. Steadying himself on his simple staff, Selkollar made his way to secondary command center, his Honor Guard surrounding him the entire way.

Once he arrived, he was told that Marauder Hrealga and Captain Galak were on their way as well. Selkollar clicked his tongue, as he did not like to be kept waiting.

"I can probably get us planet-side. Easy enough." Lex shrugged. When it came to the usual commute begin worlds and systems, he rarely touched the controls of the Vagabond, instead leaving it to the capable hands of his co-pilot, Junior. The astromech's droid brain was more than enough to handle the complexities of calculating for hyperspace, as well as making adjustments to their course as needed. But their came times when either speed, power, or some dexterity was needed, and for that, Lex employed the use of his J-2 Interceptor. The starfighter's controls were so delicate that it required not just a Force-sensitive pilot, but a skilled one at that, in order to manage the minute changes in movement and thrusters.

No sooner had they exited hyperspace, had alarms begun to sound. He made way for the cockpit, if only to see what the problem was, and found that at the very least, problem was an understatement. The sensors of the ship showed multiple blips dotting the orbit of the planet, each one an individual vessel, no doubt with firepower and armor far outclassing their own several dozen times over. And wasn't even the most concerning sight. No, it was the fact that the ships of who he could only assume were the Bryn'daul, seemed like they were organic in nature, looking more like beasts than vehicles.

"Scratch what I just said, the landing may be a little rougher than I thought." With Lowick blockaded like this, with these ships of unknown capabilities, even now Lex was stretching just how decent their odds were.

Bryn'adûl Installation - Second Command Centre

Whilst Galak would not disobey the wishes of the Marauder, he did not see the need for his personal presence at such a prestigious meeting. Such a thing would've been better suited to the Brute General. However it was just then that he'd remembered that General Tarosk had been forced to leave the Lowick instillation in preparation for an upcoming offensive. That was all he knew, all he needed to know. Unfortunately, that made him the highest ranking Brute on the Station at the time.

However, he was by no means a seasoned veteran. Perhaps in the eyes of a Drone, but speaking relative to the Warriors he'd be next to in the Command Centre he was little more than a green horn Brute. The Brute remained silent on the journey to the Command Centre, only deigning to make verbal communication again upon seeing the Hierarch.

Galak could feel his power, a shiver running up his spine as if on instinct to motioned to one knee; fist slammed into the emblem on his chest.

"Hierarch, I am honoured by your presence." Galak spoke with outward modesty, bowing his head deep.

It wasn't every day you met such a integral member of the Bryn'adûl.

The alarms started to go off in the ship when Ezekiel was finished examining his blaster. He followed Lex to the cockpit so he could see what they were up against and slightly regretted that he did. The ships that were in the planets orbit were was nothing like any ships he'd seen before. The organic ships made him feel ill. Maybe Ezekiel should have brought a bigger weapon other than his blaster pistol.

"As long as we make it on the surface alive, I don't really mind how rough the landing may be." Ezekiel definitely thought that staying together was the best option now. Those vessels gave the agent a better idea of what they'd face, and he didn't mind having two force users watching his back. Hopefully they'd be able to sneak in, get the information they need, and sneak out without any detection. He knew that things didn't go so smoothly though.

Just as she managed to enter the second command center with Galak in tow, she noticed the Hierarch, an aged and withered old dreal, it was in a sense rather odd to see such a specimen. Especially when one would realize that the Creator had made it so that the majority of the troops, including Hraelga herself were actually but little, pestering children in comparison. Just as Galak though, she greeted the Hierarch with the same chest-thumping greeting, though hers was without the actual 'thump' and more like a graceous bow.

"Hierarch Selkollar, forgive me for calling upon you and having you walk all the way to this place, but we are in need of your wisdom and power," The former Zealot moved to the central stage of the command center, taking up her rightful position as marauder and the benefits that came with said rank. "I am having this cold, disturbing feeling that something isn't right and though I do not possess any of those...strange powers which you possess, honored Hierarch, it is my instict which tells me that something isn't right. It is for this reason I've called you two here.

"Turning her head to Galak, she paused for a moment. "Captain, you are currently the highest ranking member of the brutes and as such our best and most capable field commander, that is why I've asked for you to keep your troops at the ready. Hierarch Selkollar, your wisdom and intelligence are unmatched and your foresight makes you the most suited for the coordination in case my instincts are right and something is truly going on. I myself due to my background as a Zealot, will take command of the zealots and act as the scalpel in case Hierarch Selkollar sees it fit to use the scalpel rather than the club you brutes represent," Letting out a chuckle followed by a rather frustrated sounding sigh, Hraelga ltilted her head a bit when looking at the Hierarch. "Do tell me now, honored Hierarch... is my instinct on the mark? Do we have to prepare for such an eventuality that would lead to bloodshed?"

When the fellow commanders finally arrived, Selkollar was more lively then previously seen. Selkollar had felt another event very close by, and he could smell the Jedi scent. However, even with his exhaustive Seer abilities, Selkollar could not locate the Jedi themselves. They had not arrived on the planet just yet, but their presence was definitely getting closer. It would be entirely too difficult to try to discern their location this way, but the fact remained that Jedi were coming to Lowick.

"Captain Galak. Your reputation precedes you." Such a compliment was all Galak was going to get from the Hierarch, but it was more then most received. In fairness, Captain Galak was a well-known warrior and brutally efficient commander. Many Drael were happy to serve under him, even if he was a bit more green then others. His tenacity and courage had been observed time and time again, and he would no doubt lead them to victory here as well.

And then there was the assassin herself, Marauder Hrealga. A tempered woman of great renown, Selkollar was wary of her kind. Even more surprising was her instinct, which had brought her here in the first place. A gut reaction to be sure, but she was nonetheless correct. Selkollar hated giving her the satisfaction, but he would reward her where it was due.

"You are not wrong Marauder Hrealga. Their is bloodshed on the horizon. Enemies are coming, though they are not in large numbers." The idea of setting up the entire army to search for a small group of travelers was in bad form, and Selkollar did not think it wise to get every since Drael riled up. Instead, a small strike force combing the planet could hopefully easily find their prey.

"I recommend that we do not gather such a large group of our warriors. Let the enemy into our trap, and spring it when they least suspect." Selkollar was not the end all be all here of course. The Captain and Marauder could make their decisions on their own as well. This was merely an idea that the Hierarch had, and he would definitely listen to any other thoughts the commanders had.

Ilwynog nodded to Lex as he took over the piloting, it seemed fair enough and gave the Shadow Leader a chance to assess his piloting skills for future missions going forward. It didn't look good from the sounds of things, a rough landing meant that the ship might not be able to escape on this vessel. "We need to escape with this ship so please don't crash too hard." They answered firmly as they took the seat next to them, looking at the very alien looking vessels in front of them.

"Hm. This is very curious, we should make note of these vessels. Understanding them would be important going forward, so that we can inform the Assembly of what we could be facing moving forward. Unfortunate that we can't scan them without making ourselves glaringly obvious." They leaned back in the seat as they tapped their helmet several times, deep in thought. "These people are very different to what I thought they could be. We need to be cautious moving forward. Get us landed so we can start our mission Lex." Ilwynog pointed to the planet, fearful of what horrors they might find there.

"A small task force you say," The marauder listened carefully to the Hierarch's own wisdom and sights upon the manner in which the Bryn'adül encampment had to ready themselves within this particularly unfavorable and unfamiliar situation. She could simply deploy her own team of zealots, but this would most likely be a rather insulting move towards the battlehardened brutes, so she had to figure out a tactic which would appease each leading figure at the base, lest her actions would end up badly. "What if we send out two small taskforces."

Turning herself to Captain Galak, the zealot marauder clacked her tongue and chuckled. "I propose you mobilize your squad, act as the visible guards of this encampment," Looking at the Hierarch, Hraelga clacked her tongue again and tilted her head to the side. "I'll send an additional team of zealots to survey the surroundings covertly, they'll act as both the covert operatives and as the relay between the captain's team and this base."

For a moment, she remained silent until she let out a deep sigh. "Honored Hierarch, by any chance do you have any vision on the general direction of these insurgents' whereabouts?"
