A Reluctant Meeting

The moment she finished her first sentence, he pulled up his datapad and began typing a message to his secretary.

"Please do a search on a planet called Lenuta and it's surrounding systems. Also look for what academies exist on that planet and what they specialize in. Thank you." With the message away, he lowered his datapad and finished listening to what she had to say.

His mind again began to race. (Imagine how sherlock holmes goes over details and you'll understand this better) "Hmph. She said much, yet almost nothing. What does that mean? She's lieing...could be covering for something/someone....both? Possible. Slice wire indicates military background, not business. This would coincide with her posture, air of confidence. Her diplomatic answer is not indicative of military though. Conclusion? Political. With possible military training in self defense. Political would also account for exotic weapon type being chosen, instead of standard weaponry taught in military academies. Low grade political figures don't get that kind of training though. This would indicate a higher level of office. Interesting...."

With a nod of his head he let out a small sigh. "Very well Miss...I'm sorry, I didn't catch your last name. What was it again? And I'll assign you with our security detail. You'll be with us as one of our personal guards while we are away. Does that suit you?" He figured it would since she would be able to stay close to Aurna. But you never did know.

((Didn't think of it before but if my tags aren't working for you lemme know and I can always send a PM, been seeing a lot of these break lately so I figured I'd check!))

Well her slicewire training was more because she had run into a rather interesting and lovely maid by chance and took her into her employ and requested training from her. Crina didn't have such training facilities on its own, not that it mattered since she told him Lenuta. Both were still quietly tucked away in the Luminita so it wasn't like he'd have gotten information for either, but if ever the Remnant became bolder and had information leaks she'd rather anyone hear she dropped that name here than Crina. Speaking of Academies though, it made the second princess wonder if she ought to give Aurna a tour of Cosmina once she got her to her homeworld. It was a rather lovely setting, and she could wear her Practitioner's garb for her girlfriend too.

At least for now it seemed like she could go on the trip, and Alva made sure to give an enthusiastic response. Kissing Aurna on the cheek again as she replied. "Of course! That sounds perfect to me." To some maybe this seemed unrefined, but honestly looking a bit ditzy was a rather easy way to avoid dealing with deeper concerns. It certainly worked on the older generation of nobles whenever one wanted out of a rather irritating matter.

((Ya they didn't work for me. Aurna had to let me know. But it's fine. I check my threads often. So if I don't respond quickly, it's because I got rapped up in work or personal stuff.))

He raised an eyebrow as Alva planted yet another kiss on her girlfriend. He began to wonder if she did this with all of her public matters. The sudden shift in disposition was obviously a distraction. She hadn't shown any signs of wanting to be there the moment she had to speak to someone not Aurna. He would not be put off, and had already planned on doing a much deeper search into this Alva person. Still, he maintained a slight smile.

"Very well, very well. Off with the both of you. I'll see you in two days. Oh and by the way Aurna. I will need a couple representatives aboard your ship during the trip there, and the trip back to ensure coordinates are purged from your systems after arriving there and back, as well as making sure they are not copied in the meantime. I have no problem with you keeping your own people to make sure mine don't do anything stupid as well."

With that, he walked to the door and opened it for them.

"Two days then.. and I will delete them don't worry.. I only have droids.. I don't have people at the moment but sure send them aboard, just ensure they keep themselves away from anything but ensuring that the coordinates are safe, and I will ensure my aunt's former bodyguard, Ashley plays nice on your ship." She walked out and would meet with him in two days. It was going to be a fun adventure she thought as she dragged Alva with her with a giggle.

The moment the two left, Ice began working on a message that he would send to some of his many contacts throughout the galaxy. Though he would send each message individually so none of the other parties knew who else was involved.

Those people groups included:

[member="Geneviève Lasedri"] of the Rebellion
[member="Cryax Bane"] of the Red Ravens
[member="Romeo Sin"] of the Shadow Empire
[member="Chloe Kandossii"] of the Mandalorians

"Hello,

I was just needing a bit of help with something really quick. I'm trying to find some information on someone and have so far been coming up dry. The person is [member="Alva Calvarona"]. I'm sending a holo image along with this transmission. I'm simply curious if you or any of your contacts are familiar with and have any information on this woman. Any help you could offer would be most appreciated. Thanks

Ice"

And with that, he waited to hear back from them. "If only Allie was here, she'd probably have an idea. That woman had been everywhere it seemed." He thought to himself as he yawned and sat back in his chair.

(Edited due to request)

Romeo saw said message pop up, and disregarded it with a simple message.

"[member="Ice"] what you seek will be yours in a giffy. I have a few people who can get this information in a pinch. Till then be safe, and keep the jelly in the jar!

Yours, Romeo."

It was way too early in the morning (Praesitlyn time) for this sort of interruption. Some guy had messaged her by one of the Rebel channels and it had been relayed to her as requiring her decision on how to answer. Needless to say, 'Viola' was grumpy upon being awakened.

When she saw it was Mr. ShadowTech, she became worried that her supplier was not all he was cracked up to be and was already under attack for some market atrocity. Surprisingly, it was just an inquiry about a certain name. 'Viola' was not sure if she would have been more upset by a message regarding his factories blowing up. This was a bit of a nuisance as it was. The Benefactor often stayed up early into the morning, but she was hardly superhuman and still needed some semblance of sleep.

Alva Calvarona... No, she did not know this person and had no idea what could be so important about the name. Sighing with exasperation, she composed a brief, blunt message and returned to her bed, perturbed.

ShadowTech, I have no idea what the hell kind of girl you are trying to pick up. But if you don't know who she is, then I'd advise against spending the evening with her.

-Viola

When Ice awoke the next morning, he went through the couple messages he had received. Sadly so far none of them had anything useful. It was good having friends in high places, he thought to himself. But sometimes even then it wasn't enough. His last comment though caused an audible snicker snort type sound. "Oh god..." He said out loud as he wrote another message in reply.

"Romeo,

Thanks for the help. I look forward to seeing any information you can pull up.

Regards,

Ice

P.S. - No...no jelly for this one."

He finished with a roll of his eyes. In a laughing tone, he added, "That guy and his jelly..."

With that message away he pulled up the next one and raised an eyebrow after reading the short blunt response. "As if I'd mix my personal life with business contacts." He grumbled to himself. But then he looked and saw the time stamp on the message. After thinking a moment, he began to cringe. "Oh good lord....they did not wake her up for this message did they?" He though to himself. "I mean I didn't mark it as urgent or anything." Writing up a new message, he typed quickly.

"Viola,

I'm not trying to "pick up" anyone. I'm concerned about a possible security situation, and was curious if you had any possible intel my other sources did not. I thank you though for taking the time to see if you had any information on her and I apologize for disturbing you. I hope you have a good day.

Ice"
