It still stuck with him, that unease, even as he was riding the Emeici Sith Imperial Shock Speeder Bikes
Tara Willows
had lent him towards Alina's estate, some ways outside of Dromund Kass. As he approached, he would look up at it; focusing on a certain patio with a smirk. He was riding the hell out of that thing too, only glancing back a few times to see if Tara was still with him. One might say it wasn't a race, but he wasn't the one that would say it. No matter who got their first, he would carefully shut down the speeder, swinging a leg over and observing Tara. How in the hell did he manage this now? He even said he didn't want to know, and of course Tara had dragged him off mission. In any case, no harm no foul right? All they had to do was pull a very little bit of wool over Alina's eyes, and all was well.
In the back of his mind however, he vaguely remembered seeing how hard Alina could hit something, and swallowed once. Nah, it was all good... Everything was fine. He smirked at Tara, noting she didn't seem like she had ever been here before. "Beautiful place huh?" he asked as they approached, upnodding the guards who seemed to be expecting them. That was odd, last time he was waiting at the gate, while this time it almost seemed like... Almost seemed like they were being lead in. It made sense, Alina probably told them to expect the pair. As he moved through, he made sure Tara was kept in toe; finally moving to the great hall where he expected to see
Alina Tremiru
sitting on her throne.
Instead, the room was empty. The few guards that opened the doors for them had made very direct movements, marching to each other, making a standing turn, and marching out. Rax watched that with interest, then deadpanned in Tara's direction. That feeling of unease settling back in. He ignored it, clearing his throat, and turning back to the throne at the back of the room. There were some doors there, and as such, he would just call out "Hello!?" his voice reverberating in the room. As he wasn't answered, he would take a seat at one of the long tables, leaning back against one with his elbows on it.
"Didn't think we were that late..." he mumbled, breathing in and waiting. He just hoped she didn't ask too much questions.
