I'm lookin for anyone interested in perhaps forming a group of like-minded, radical Jedi. By radical I mean with more intense, militant interpretations of the light side of the force and the Jedi code. I'm not looking specifically for Jedi exclusively, it's open to anyone who wants to take things in a more radical direction.
What do I mean by radical? I mean essentially galactic liberation, uplifting species out of oppression, fighting against classism and specieism. The whole idea would essentially be there is no peace until everyone is free, but we can commit ourselves to achieving that goal and to the tenets of the light side of the force. We'd be very militant towards the dark side and its influences, sort of a more radical sect of Jedi Shadows without the espionage. This would be based less around the allure of the dark side and more around the philosophical reasoning behind it, such as the oppression and slavery to the quest for power. What I mean by "militant" I think I'd rather save for the private discussions, though I'm sure you can put the pieces together.
This, of course, would require some reinterpretation of the Jedi code and some unorthodox methods, but I want to take things in a fresh direction to give some moral ambiguity and some more intense action. Not necessarily looking to start a new faction, just assemble some people in the Silver Jedi/Republic sphere who share these interests to have a sort of new, unorthodox sect, or perhaps an underground group. And yes, I realize the hypocrisy of being a Jedi that is militant and the danger it poses, but I'm really interested in seeing how such a sect could go and develop and what kinds of actions can be taken.
Any interest? Would love to have some peeps on board to do some RPs so I can get this character back up and running! Rank, experience, doesn't matter! All are welcome! Again: Do not need to be a Jedi nor a force user, just sympathetic to the ideas and willing to do what's necessary.
