Private A Noble Battle

Holy chit there's two of them.

Saahar stood there a moment, almost paralyzed as her eyes flitted between the spitting images of Valery and Kahlil respectively. Aris in particular bared a striking resemblance to the former Sith prince. Like a weird amount.

She cleared her throat before levying an unimpressed eyebrow. "Good to see the new generation is so directionally challenged. That's definitely inspiring stuff."

Saahar honestly didn't know why she had the impulse to respond as darkly as she did. Maybe it was jealously. If she'd so much as brushed against a Sith lord in the halls or even a fellow acolyte her head would be on a chopping block. It took constant reminders to understand that wasn't the way of things here.

It also probably didn't help that she'd just left the med ward (and all the fun surprises that had awaited her there). She felt a little raw about it, unable to bleach Makko and the billions of wires connected to him out from her mind.

Her guilt conscious manifested in plenty of ways, and today it decided on being a jerk.

"Are you alright?"

He asked the question again, though this time because it was clear Saahar wasn't. At least, as far as he could tell. People weren't this mean, right? There had to be something going on that had her snapping at Vera of all people. Who he stood beside now witha slightly worried expression. He didn't want Vera to be bullied either, and would absolutely defend his sister.

But Aris also couldn't ignore people that might need help.

Ouch.

Vera took a step back and looked down a little at the comment. She was just having a bit of fun with her brother, and now this lady she had never seen before was being mean to her. Vera wasn't one to break down in tears over it, but the comment had definitely knocked the wind out of her sails a little.

Aris stepping up to join her side made her perk up a little, though. He'd defend her even after she stole his book and teased him about Anneliese and Mom.

"I'm sorry if I hurt you."

Saahar watched as the two immediately deflated, not even offering up a snarky retort in defense. The girl couldn't help but frown at how wildly she mismanaged this conversation. She couldn't expect everyone to be at her throat at all times here, that's not how the Jedi operated.

She sighed; old habits evidently died hard.

"No you-" The girl paused wincing a bit before her fingers pinched the bridge of her nose. "Sorry- yeah I'm a bit stressed."

That's all she had to say on the matter, taking a moment to grind her teeth in frustration before turning her attention back to the pair.

"You don't happen to be related to the Nobles do you?"

Stressed?

Aris tilted his head, but then again he wasn't sure how exactly people handled stress. Just that people were different about it. Vera on the other hand seemed down, but at least she didn't seem too deflated. At least better now.

"If you mean Master Kahlil and Master Valery, yes. They're our parents."
