Katrina had to do what was best for her and it wasn't staying with the Confederacy. She had no loyalty to them anyway and had just been at home working. The woman had only been there because of him and the baby. If it wasn't for him she would have stayed hidden within the forest and now he was gone. A part of her wished to just run away back to the forest but that was no place for their daughter to grow up. She deserved a fair chance and to live amongst people no matter how devastated over everything Katrina was. She would need to pull herself together for her daughter.

Her husband had been a member of the Dread squad and after the invasion they all had left the confederacy so did she. Katrina was here to pick up the pieces and move forward with her life. She was a scientist so that was something. If she was given a lab she could prove to be quite useful. She assumed that she would probably have to work up to that.

Child on the chair spinning round in circles Katrina began to arrange things in her office. This was different for her as she had never had an office like this before just the lab. It was nice to have an area for all of her stuff. Once everything was set up she was excited to get started on whatever her first project would be. Even she wasn't sure what that would be.

It seemed to Noah that anyone who defected from the Confederacy all seemed to find their way north. All the way to the Protectorate. Not that Noah minded, all that the Feds were wasting were good warriors, healers and scientist. First it was the Liberty Concord, a group of soldiers fed up with the Feds inaction against the Sith. Then it was Feena Mason, one of the most influental figures in the founding of the Confederacy, she had left after being threatened by a member of the ruling council while the rest of the council just sat idly by, of course the assassin sent after her didn't help either. And now there was the scientist, Katrina Garnier, a Jedi Master who had spent most of her life in the forest, which must of been a weird change when it came to Fondor. But as the current Commander of the Omega Pyre and a former Republic Commando, it was Noah's specialty to handle defectors. So, that's why Noah was outside of her new office, knocking on her door.
