Before entering atmosphere, the planet which was named Sarula Iliene appeared nothing more than a green ball hurling through the cosmos. Orbiting around a purple gas giant, Sarula Iliene was a tropical jungle planet, with several large rainforests that were dotting the various large islands on the planet. The oceans were a pristine blue, teeming with life beneath the waves. The skyline was illuminated by Sarula Iliene's bright yellow sun and of course the purple gas giant, named Strasza. Continuing over to the largest continent, there were signs of civilization there. Parts of the massive rainforest had already been cut down to make way for villages and smaller towns. Paved roads where people used pack animals, to transport goods and crops to various different communities.

Following the roads, it would lead one highly urbanized city. The city itself boasted much more technological advancement than the outskirts. There was a train system that ran from the city to the frontier mountains in the distance. Large floating crystals were hovering at various points in the city, presumably they were defense pylons of some kind. Trees were planted throughout the city, to give it a more natural look despite these being not native to the planet. The city itself seemed to be split between the two different architectural styles. The left side of the city, seemed to have built buildings with the integration of smaller purple crystals, and their buildings appeared to be more technologically advanced. The right side of the city had a more aristocratic feel to it. Their buildings gave off more of a feudal high society nature, ornately crafted to be shimmering beauties against the natural landscape. Though there did appear to have some red crystals decorated their buildings.

Flying further across the city, the denizens all looked up in awe, confusion and few in fear. Several what appeared to be robotic walkers were busy carrying heavy loads to their destinations. Oddly enough, there appeared to be a section of the city, devoted to landing pads. One of which was open and there appeared to be a contingent of sentries standing guard by there.

This was more like it.

Having been to far too many cold planets recently, Valery drew in a breath of relief when she saw the jungles along the planet's surface. They reminded her of New Cov — the planet she truly viewed as home — and she was looking forward to perhaps exploring a little. Her X-wing needed to be resupplied after a long mission away from home, so she'd have the time to look around and meet with the locals.

Who knows what they'd be like — this wasn't a stretch of space with many visitors.

Spotting a city on her sensors, Valery moved towards it at a slow and obvious trajectory. She wanted to make sure that nobody viewed her as a threat, so she carefully made her approach and decided to settle down on the landing pads. Guards were already stationed there, likely to stop her and ask who she was and what she was doing here. She was eager to meet them.

Once the X-wing finally touched down, the canopy opened and Valery climbed her way outside. She was ready to meet with whoever came to see her.

As the X-Wing touched down on the landing pad, there was already a crowd starting to gather. A mixture of curious and fearful looks. The guards would stand firm, though a few of them exchanged nervous glances. But the crowd began to make way, as more ornate armored guards began to make way for a woman. The Iredani woman looked to the ship for a moment, before then looking through the archives that was being presented to her by one of her retinue. Information on this spacecraft was sparse and dated far back in the Iredani's history. But she knew what this was. She wondered why it was here.

Advanced space sensors never really developed so they couldn't detect the X-Wing coming in. They had interstellar communications but no hail was made. Corhaa however, needed to make introductions. She walked gracefully to the woman who got out of the cockpit, two of her guards beside her. Corhaa gave a friendly smile before giving a bow.

"Welcome, stranger. I'll admit we do not get too many visitors here. Especially..someone who flies.." Corhaa's mind blanked for a moment as she then looked back at the archive hologram that she had. "A..X-Wing. Yes, A X-Wing. There hasn't been one since..well years ago. Well we haven't seen one in years."

Corhaa's Galactic Basic was heavily accented. Angelic in tone, even sounding a bit like a chandelier despite the accent however. "What brings you to our world traveler?"

Understandably, there were mixed reactions to her sudden appearance. Nobody had expected her arrival and she hadn't been able to establish contact before landing either. It made the guards a little wary — nervous even — but Valery would never cause any harm. She climbed out of her cockpit and hopped down on the landing pad. The guards and people watching were offered a smile, though her attention only lingered briefly on them.

Someone else was approaching.

Valery stood before the woman and dipped her upper body into a respectful bow to return the gesture. When she rose, she offered a warm smile, "Apologies for the unannounced visit. I was in the area for an assignment and picked the planet up on my sensors. I was curious, so I decided to take a closer look."

Another smile, before dipping her head, "I'm Jedi Master Valery Noble. A representative of the New Jedi Order and the Galactic Alliance."

Corhaa blankly stared at the woman for a moment. She heard of that name before. The Galactic Alliance. Going through the archive crystal she had in her hands, Corhaa was scrolling through decades of her people's history. There she found it. There were records of some of her people fighting alongside of the Galactic Alliance against the Bryn'adul. Granted that was years ago and chances are much of the GA wouldn't remember her people fighting in that conflict. They retreated back to their home world, never to be seen in such a mass quantity again. So the Galactic Alliance is still around?

Gathering her thoughts back, Corhaa would bow back, giving the same amount of respect the Jedi had shown her.

"Welcome Jedi Master Valery. I am Corhaa Iredunn, the Lady Magnia of House Iredunn. I will say this marks a historic moment. You are the first Galactic Alliance member to have set foot on this world. Let alone, according to my records, its been over two decades since officially our people made contact. Not sure if you personally ever heard of the Iredani people."

Corhaa gave a smile as she then gestured for the Jedi to follow her. "Please come. We can discuss more things back at the palace. Long travels this far out into the galaxy, takes a toll on anyone."

Corhaa would begin to the lead the way, the guards ensuring that Valery had a path to follow. The civilians themselves watched on in silence, a few children made some laughs. It might have been unsettling for the Jedi Master, but no one made any sudden moves. They all simply watched on, in a mixture of awe and fear.

"I'm afraid I haven't heard of your people before," Valery admitted, though she wasn't embarrassed to be honest about it. Despite her apparent age, most of her life had been spent in a vastly different time. She was born thousands of years ago, in the days of the Old Republic, and was shifted forward in time through a medical stasis.

If the Galactic Alliance had made contact with her people before, it must have been before she made her appearance.

"I'm eager to learn more about the planet though. But... I agree, it would be nice to head somewhere I can rest. I just returned from a long assignment." Both mentally and physically, she was quite tired. To the point that she wished she could just lay in a bathtub for hours with her eyes closed.

But establishing contact with the Iredani people again was the next best thing.

"I will have a room prepared for you, miss." Corhaa flashed a smile as she then continued to lead Valery towards the palace. "It is quite alright if you haven't heard of us. The Iredani people very rarely leave the home world. We have stayed in our region of space ever since we fought the Bryn. Such a traumatic experience for our people at that time."

The guards would continue to pave a path for them, one that lead to the large ornate structure that seemed to sit upon a hill that overlooked the city. The palace itself was large, a blend of the two different building styles that the city itself was made up. Floating purple and red crystals dotted the palace, a couple large ones by the front gate. What can only be described as automaton sentries also patrolled the grounds of the palace. Upon seeing Corhaa, the guards would press a button, a barrier dropping then the gate unlocking itself. Corhaa escorted Valery through, the entrance leading to a small courtyard. Beautiful trees grew here, along with several other exotic floral life. In the center, a statue of what appears to be an Iredani woman and an Aetharian woman, in holy union. Corhaa seemingly looked up to the statue, picking up a red flower as she placed it at the front of the statue. The Lady Magnia seemingly was holding back from showing too much emotion in front of her guest as she then turned with a smile.*

"Please come this way, we can sit, relax and dine while we speak." Corhaa nodded as she then led Valery further into the palace. Beautifully decorated halls graced them, coupled with paintings of both Iredani and Aetharians. Sculptures, gold, jewels, the typical extravagant lifestyle of a noble. Their house sigil was display proudly on banners hanging from the ceiling. It wouldn't be long before they were sitting in comfortable chairs, on the balcony of the palace. A servant brought out refreshments. Two glasses of what was presumably some sort of wine, and a small plate of baked goods.

"That's very kind of you," Valery said with a warm smile of her own. She usually preferred not to stay and return home if she could, but the trip back was too long and she was already exhausted enough. Staying the night was the better option, and they didn't seem to be lacking in hospitality here either.

This would work just fine.

"You haven't been in contact with others since the Bryn? That's quite a while ago." Valery hadn't been around during that war, and she already felt at home in this current time. To think they've been keeping to themselves ever since was quite fascinating, though not unheard of. Valery's own people largely kept to themselves as well.

Valery then followed along, as Corhaa and her guards guided her through the palace. Everything there was just how she'd expected it to be — beautiful, serene, and comfortable.

"That sounds like a lovely plan," Valery said when the woman had briefly stopped to put a rose by a statue. She had a feeling what it was about, but it wasn't her place to ask. Not when she already seemed to be shielding her emotions. Perhaps they'd get a chance to talk about it over dinner. Once they reached their seats, Valery made herself comfortable and looked across the terrain from the balcony. This planet and the people's hospitality wasn't something she'd forget.

"Thank you for showing me around and being so welcoming. It's quite refreshing after everything that has happened recently."

Corhaa would sip her glass of wine for a moment, listening to Valery speak. She turned to face her with a bit of a concerned expression before gesturing for the Jedi Master to have something to eat and drink. "Do tell me, Master Jedi. What has been happening out in the galaxy? Anything important of note at least for my people here? I fear any information we managed to archive is probably long since outdated. Our only other contact besides the Bryn, and the Galactic Alliance have been the Aetharians."

Corhaa gestured to one of her guards, which was an Aetharian, a slender woman with pointed ears, short blonde hair, with green eyes, and fair skin. The guard simply gave a bow to Corhaa and Valery before returning to stand still at attention. Corhaa gave a wistful sigh as she then turned back to Valery.
"Besides them, my people here dont know much else. So please, tell me all that you can about the outside galaxy."

"Well, I consider the rise of a new Empire the greatest concern. They're imperials but with survivors of the fallen Brotherhood of the Maw as well." She wasn't sure if Corhaa knew about the Maw, but if she was aware of planets such as Csilla and Panatha being destroyed, she likely heard about them. They were responsible for a terrible period of suffering in the Galaxy.

This new Empire wasn't much better.

"Recently, they invaded the Core. We've so far managed to keep them from expanding, but they are not an enemy to underestimate. Along another section of our borders, the Sith Order is growing. They're a serious threat in the Outer Rim, especially the Tingel Arm now."

She paused and sighed softly.

"It's not an easy time, but we're doing alright."

Corhaa's face seems to darken slightly. She clenched her jaw as she looked back out to the view of the city. The noble woman would sip her wine, her mind contemplating what was just told to her. The galaxy still seemed embroiled in conflict. What the Jedi Master called the Core, had been recently attacked by this new Empire. A combination of Imperials and Brotherhood of the Maw. There was also a Sith Order growing in strength. All of these new factions and Corhaa knew nothing about them. None of her people did.

"And you say these factions are expansionist? Warlike? They are not aligned with the values of your Order or the Galactic Alliance?" Corhaa seemedd to sigh for a moment, setting her wine glass down. "I had hoped for more pleasant news. Maybe a galaxy where I didn't need to think about threats that can wipe out my House. Perhaps I was a bit too naive or optimistic to believe such things. Granted when your people are newcomers on the galactic stage, you tend to be optimistic, hopeful even."

"That's right," Valery confirmed, "If those factions reach your borders, your people will not be given a free choice. Either you sidd willingly, or they will take over by force." It was a sad fact, but Valery wasn't going to downplay it or offer false hope. She was a leader of her people, so she had to know what was waiting for her out there.

Prepare for it, if she must.

"I understand your hope. I spent several thousand years in stasis. When I was recovered, I hoped that things were better as well, but I learned that many of the same conflicts were still ongoing." She sighed and reached up to brush a hand through her long hair.

"We can't change the nature of this Galaxy, I'm afraid, but we can stand together against these evil Factions."

Corhaa seemingly stared out to view the city in she had helped found. A place where she had envisioned a better future for all involved. Her people, are her extended family. This place was home and yet it could all be taken from her, if these factions ever came to her borders. A war with an enemy that they had no idea about, nor the basic understandings of their technology. It would be a conflict they can not win. At least on their own. Corhaa would then look to Valery, her eyes catching a glimpse of what was a wedding ring on her finger.

"I used to wear one too, ya know. A ring that symbolized an eternity of companionship. Of love. Commitment. She and I, were the reason for why this city exists. Why Iredani and Aetharians can live peacefully here. The foundations of House Iredunn began here."
Corhaa seemingly wistfully sighed "When she died, I vowed to keep our dream alive."

Corhaa turned to look Valery in the eyes "Tell me Master Jedi, what can I do to help preserve that promise to my late beloved? You say standing together we can have a chance, but with our planet being so remote, will your Alliance even give us the time of day?"

When her wedding ring was mentioned, Valery instinctively reached for it and protectively rubbed it between her fingers. The bond it represented — her family — was the most important thing to her. Just like Corhaa, she had gone through losing such a bond when she believed her husband had been dead for years. But he came back. She couldn't imagine what it was like for Corhaa, who only had their promises and vows to hold onto.

"That's a lovely gesture to your late wife," Valery said with a soft smile. "As for preserving that promise... I can't speak on behalf of the whole Alliance. I'm no political leader, even if my voice has unofficial sway. But the Alliance will help people if they ask, especially when confronted by these Sith and Empires."

"The difficult thing will be logistics. It's no easy task to help a planet this remote."

"An unfortunate circumstance for my House and I. Being so far remote has allowed us to not really be touched by the affairs of the galaxy. But it also gives little reason for those big players to give us protection, or even offer it." Corhaa would stand up from her chair, walking to the railing of the balcony that her and Valery were on. She seemingly took a minute or so to admire the view. She clenched her fists. It would be so much easier if her beloved still live. They bounced ideas off of each other, balanced each other out. Every decision made for the future of their House, she never doubted. Corhaa now felt that she was at a critical moment for the history of her people and House. To choose to be apart of something better, to ensure her people have protection from forces unknown, or is doing that damning her people to becoming a target for these two factions.

Corhaa turned back to Valery. "Master Jedi, I ask that you be honest when you answer this question. Do you believe your Jedi Order and Alliance will prevail and beat back this Empire and the Brotherhood? After all, you say you pushed them back from your Core regions, but was that victory, a pyrrhic one? I ask this because if I am going to seek protection for my people, I need to know if this Alliance will last long enough to provide such means."

"Even if offering protection is not easy, many will always try. The biggest threats out there are occupied trying to attack the Alliance as well, so I don't foresee your people being targeted." But there was no guarantee that they wouldn't become a target, and they both knew it. That was the unfortunate side to it all. The Galaxy was a huge place, and no matter how much effort the Jedi and Alliance put in the protection of others, it couldn't hope to cover everything.

Watching her rise from her seat, Valery remained quiet as well and just enjoyed the view, as well as the breeze passing through her hair. Only when her host spoke up again, Valery replied.

"We stopped them in the Core, but have yet to push them out entirely. But I do believe we will defeat them. We defeated the Brotherhood of the Maw years ago, and we've held our own when the Mandalorians attacked. The Alliance is many things, but resilient might be its most important trait."

Corhaa would push herself off the railing she was leaning over, as she walked to Valery. She had made a decision for the betterment of her people. There was no harm in ensuring they had a safety net. "I am sure the travel here was long and far Master Jedi. However when you do return back to your Alliance and your Order, can you put in a request for me to speak with a political leader? Someone who can..offer my House and planet protection in this Alliance. Despite our remote nature, I am sure we can offer the Alliance things to help them in warfare and technology. I'm willing to travel to the Core regions of your faction if need be. I will just need..coordinates."

Corhaa gave a smile "Not to mention, there is alot your Alliance can teach us. About the galaxy. Their culture and customs. How their technology works. Isolation has provided us with many safeties but eventually it will only come to bite us in the end."

"My advice would be to speak to Senator Alicio Organa Alicio Organa , the king of Alderaan." Not only was he a trusted friend, but someone with a genuine and kind heart. A willingness to help people who needed him, unlike some others on the Senate. Corhaa needed a good first impression and she needed someone who could help her find the right way to address the rest of the Alliance's political body.

"You can come with me to the Core and meet him yourself, if you'd like," Valery offered as she relaxed back into her seat. She could play messenger but if Corhaa wanted to learn more about the Galaxy, why not make a visit?

Valery could even arrange a place for her to stay.

"I'll be traveling tomorrow, likely in the late morning if that's alright with you. Either way, you're welcome to travel with me or to visit another time."

Corhaa seemed to go silent for a moment, her expression clearly showing that the woman was thinking. To treat with royalty from another world? Corhaa would be foolish to deny such a chance to speak with someone who can help with her planet. However, her travelling means that she would be away from her people, who have all been looking to her for guidance, safety, and stability. "Your ship will be enough to house the both of us yes? I might also bring some of my belongings to help this...friend of yours understand my people, culture and technology."

Corhaa would then look to one of her guards, speaking to them in their native language. The guard would bow his head before then jogging off to fulfill his Lady's orders. "I will spend some time preparing my House. But I should be ready by late morning tomorrow. I just have to set up a few things to ensure that my House can still rule and function with my departure."

Valery pursed her lips for a moment, then spoke again, "My fighter is a one-seater, I'm afraid. If you don't have a ship to follow me, I'll head back and return with a shuttle to pick you up." It'd mean going back and forth between the core and her planet, but she didn't mind. Not if it could help her people and potentially strengthen the Alliance with a new ally.

In times of war, building and maintaining good relationships was incredibly important.

"Take as much time as you need to prepare. I'll have to bring you somewhere you can stay, and then schedule a meeting. King Organa is a busy man." She smiled and relaxed again. Bringing people together like this was among her favorite kinds of work.
