Private A Fresh Start

So... Here we are again... The Misfits are gone... Possibly for good this time....

And it was all Dominic's fault. He had kept his darkness hidden for so long, away from the very person who could've helped him with all that he feared. Why did he let curiosity get the better of him? Why couldn't he just accept the rules the galaxy had set for him? He had everything he wanted, A home, friends..... Freedom. He threw it all away, and what made everything so much worse, is the fact that he not only sabotaged this for himself but also everyone else... Funo, Thiavi, Bee... all of them.

His sister, Holly, Accompanied him across the deserts of Tattooine, searching for any sign of salvation, whether that be a town, a ship or just another person.

Eventually though the two came across a small outpost, appearing to be inhabited by pirates, the same kind of people that killed off their parents. Expecting the worst, Dominic retrieved one of his lightsabers form his jacket, he wasn't exactly sure whether it was the red or blue blade and he didn't care, all he cared for at this point was getting him and Holly off the planet and into some kind of security. As he neared the gate to the outpost, there appeared several people from atop the wall of the place. All pointing rifles at the two. The pirates and the siblings engaged in a sudden stand off until Dom spoke up "I will say this precisely once, All we want to do is get out off of this planet, or at least to the nearest town. We don't want trouble but believe me, I will tear this place apart if you dare attack us!" The gate opened, and behind it stood six guards with rifles. One spoke up "Boss is this way." The pirate motioned for both of them to follow him, and the rest of the pirates simply stood by waiting for them to enter

Dominic turned to Holly, handing her the other saber from his jacket. "Use it only, as a last resort." Holly nodded at her brother and proceeded to hide the weapon away in her own jacket. Dominic returned his gaze to the collection of pirates in front of him, taking steps toward the Alien who had spoken previously, followed swiftly by his sister. When they were both inside, Dominic turned back around to watch the gate slowly closing, when he noticed a figure stood beyond the gate. Or maybe he was seeing things, after all they had been walking in the desert for hours.

The two were escorted by the group until they reached a relatively small building, inside sat the leader of this band of pirates. He was surrounded by all manner of treasure and caged creature, while casually eating whatever fruit grew on this desolate planet. The fat Rodian looked toward them and raised an eyebrow. He sat up and spoke, "What might I ask brings you to this fine establishment?" Dominic was quick to reply. "We just want transport. Nothing more, either off planet or to the nearest town. As I explained to your guards, I'm not looking for a fight, however, I will tear this place to the ground if you test me." The two locked eyes until the Rodian spoke once again "Maybe certain.... Arrangements... Can be made." He gestured toward Holly. Safe to say, Dominic..... Did not take that well. Igniting his lightsaber, bringing forth a crimson blade. "No, The deal is as follows: You'll take us off world or give us a ship and we don't violently kill each and every single one of you"

The guards quickly took aim at the pair, prompting Holly to ignite her own Blade, casting a blue glow across her face...

All they could do now was wait and see what would come from their latest exchange of words....

Amaris growled quietly as she sat on her hind-legs, her front paws firmly planted onto the metal of the cage she was put in. How dare someone even remotely think they could put her in a cage like this? And rude as hell for them in general. She growled a little as she watched several of them, Rodians and Humans walking around, seemingly content.

Always humans or close to 'em messing things up. Amaris head still ached - how exactly did she end up here, to begin with? She remembered being on a ship - some alarms, and then waking up with her front and back paws tied together. She must've changed during the crash or that's what she figured had happened. They had no idea what they had, clearly since they didn't put her in a more secure container.

A plus of being one of the lesser known species of the galaxies, she assumed.

But the waiting game was over. She was hungry and thirsty, and even if they had good blasters, the spikes on her back could handle them.

And without further adieu, she used a long, razor sharp claw to cut a way out - and immediately start slaughtering the pirates.

Fast Forward 5 Minutes.

A large feline body smashed through the clay walling as a small roar escaped her mouth filled with razor sharp teeth. Flesh hanged from the spikes along her back and her claws were red with blood. The fur on her body, including her tail, was fully puffed out like an angery cat. Yellow eyes caught the blue and red lightsabers - innocent people, most likely.

She nodded her head, hopeful that they knew she wasn't there for them. A blaster fired into her skin, burning the fur as she twirled, jumping onto the pirates leader as her claws dug into his heart and lungs.

Well this was a bit of a situation. The Twi'lek was shoved down the pad, still with cuffs on. She hadn't been extremely cooperative when they told her she was leaving. Unfortunately, a Dart_gun is apparently not the most efficient weapon when facing an actual group of people who are a good deal faster. She tried calling for help, but stun guns are also apparently a lot more effective. What's worse was they left Gek behind. The poor Momong wasn't going to be having a very good time. And her parents were definitely going to be worried, of all the possible situations, just how many could be much worse?

One of them grabbed her Lekku trying to drag her forwards and she let out a shout and kicked him, "Don't touch that you trash, that hurts!" she said angrily. She half stumbled half walked as she kept going. She heard them all stop in surprise as screams started emerging from the pirates who were injured, or the ones who were about to be very much dead as a feline of considerable size was rushing about slaughtering them like they were nothing.

At first she thought there was only two reasons she would have been captured, they wanted animals trained, or they wanted yet another slave dancer. This was the former, but on a MUCH more problematic scale. When even did this start because there was no way they knew this was about to happen, she felt the Quarren, who was leading the ship, shove her forwards growling, "You fix this animal friend."

She glanced behind at them, and then realized that this actually could be a better chance. She held out the cuffs towards them and begrudgingly they took them off. She smirked at them and shook her head while rolling her eyes. And she tried to get closer to Amaris Tanenat in her rampage. She noticed as well Dominic Shiro Dominic Shiro and his lightsaber. "Stop firing you pea-brained imbeciles!" she shouted, well, you gotta speak their language sometimes. "Hi," she said much more softly trying to approach the large feline, "We're both caught up in this, they caught me too. But sooner or later they'll pull out something that's going to hurt. Maybe you can understand me, maybe not. But if we go absolutely wild on them, what regret will they have when they finally pull out a rocket launcher or a cannon?"

Though her words were as if she was speaking to a person, they were soft, slow, just as her movements were. Not aggressive, but not fearful. Friendly. She didn't know it was a real person, this was just how she talked with a lot of the new ones. "We've got to take care of our actions." If Amaris did approach her with seeming aggression, Vaya would hold still, avoid eye contact, and just lean her head back and to the side slightly to reveal her neck.

She glanced towards the other animals, if only she could let them out. Set them free from these crazy people. She almost wanted the feline to just keep annihilating them, but she really was sure that at some point someone was going to pull out a big gun, or pull up in a ship. She wondered though, what those other people were going to be doing.

Well, the negotiations were short. Before another word was spoken between the siblings and that fat git, some kind of feline jumped through the bloody wall, like it was straight out of some stupid film, and set about systematically tearing that Rodian a few hundred new-ones. Only a little while after, a second person entered the room, shouting at the blithering idiots to stop blasting the beast. Surprisingly, they actually listened, turning their attention back towards him and his sister.

"Well, that certainly escalated." He turned to the feline who seemed to act less like an animal and more like a regular person in a beast body. The Twi'lek girl approaching the creature of indeterminate species, had cuffs on when she walked in, another prisoner of the worthless people around him. Holly finally spoke up. "That's one feisty cat." Dominic remained silent, while still starring down the pirates left in the room. "Okay, before we start, let's agree on two things: One, don't hit the cat, it'll probably kill us all if we piss it off. Two, the Twi'lek is not a part of this, so we leave her alone too. Other than that though..." Dominic used the force to grab one of these pirates by the throat and pull them towards him "All bets are off."

He was dead. She had snuffed the life out of him and while it hurt her to kill people, she knew what he and the others were doing here were terrible, awful and probably deserved capital punishment anyways. Their leader was dead, so chances are they would either scatter or be weakened until they could find another one. Old, dirty bastard, Force knows what he has done to people.

Yellow eyes peered towards Dominic Shiro Dominic Shiro and Holly - holding steady at theirs as her body turned towards them. She couldn't smile, but a twinkle in her eye gave away her pleasure at the compliment of being called fiesty. Another woman, a Twi'lek, entered in the room. The blaster fires at the feline predator stopped. A nice respite, too. Amaris moved next to a cage with what looked like some kind of bear-monster.

Her head tilted as the woman came forward and tried to speak to her. Amaris understood everything - and knew the risks already. But she'd rather die than be stuck as a prisoner or slave for these jerk butts. No way, little Twi'lek, was she going to stay here and put under these terrible conditions. Her shoulders rolled. On the ground, she carved out in the metal wording -

'I'm leaving this place - with or without y'all.'

With hopefully a clear understanding of her intentions from the three innocents in the room, she growled as she smashed her side into one of the pirates, a spike impaling him. Almost at the same time that Dominic used the Force to grab one of them by the throat. Blasters began to fire once more, mostly aimed at her, and she used her spikes to repel most of them besides a few that burnt into her fur.

Vaya Vaya

The closer inspection of the creature however, was not that this creature (Amaris Tanenat) was indeed like others. No, as she noticed the beginning of the carving it was clearly fully intelligent. She knew of some creatures that appeared much less humanoid, and yet had just as much awareness and intelligence as any of the sentient species. Though, she almost never met any of them. It was not a surprise that they'd treat her like an animal though, doubtless these people were slavers just as much as they were thieves.

In spite of the danger, the feline still intended to escape. And so did Dominic Shiro Dominic Shiro and the woman with him. The feline was attracting much of the attention as she attacked others causing Vaya to glance away. She'd seen blood plenty of times. She'd had to put down a few animals herself. But it didn't make it feel much better to see it done to a person. She was familiar with death but...just not necessarily as violently for people.

However she was distracted by the fact that now, the two that were clearly add odds with these people. At least one of whom was now using the force, as well as the feline, all were trying to escape. What better time to do that then now? She glanced around quickly and ran to one of the bodies, turning her face away as she snatched the keys from them. "Maybe it's not the safest way but I'll give you this chance now." then immediately beginning to set loose even more animals, keeping an eye on if any went after Amaris Tanenat or Dominic Shiro Dominic Shiro because she fully intended to make sure they didn't get any more trouble then they needed already. However what she did know was most of these animals were going to want something, and that was to escape. Freedom.

And in all that hustle and bustle Vaya could try and keep track of the other three so maybe she could get out of this place with them.

Hmm, wasn't that coincidental? As soon as Dominic grabbed that scum's throat, that feline killed another against the wall. Dominic followed soon after, crushing the wind pipe of the pirate and throwing him through the wall of the building. At this point the chits started firing, most of them aiming toward Amaris, though a good deal were headed toward the siblings. Dominic began to deflect some of what came their way with Holly doing her best to keep up with the onslaught, though in truth she wasn't going to last much longer. Dominic realized this fact and tried to find somewhere to hide her. Trapped in a relatively small room.

"
Holly, get behind the cat!" His sister, surprisingly, listened to him. Moving cautiously over to Amaris, deflecting what she could of the shots coming toward the beast. She spoke to the feline as she got near. "Hey, I'm Holly, nice to meet you, wanna help us not die?" Holly had listened to her brother for the most part, instead of hiding behind the feline she stood in front of it, trying to be the hero she wanted to be. Dominic moved swiftly to the two, cutting down three of the pirates on his way past. "I said behind it! Never mind, give me the blade." Holly handed over her brothers second lightsaber to which she seemed less than enthusiastic. However with the two blades, Dom was able to deflect, most of the bolts, giving Amaris a chance to recover. "Boys right? Always wanting to be the hero. Go get 'em tiger." She spoke toward the creature behind her, giving it a light smile and picking up a small pistol, proceeding to shoot whatever she could.

The siblings noticed the cages unlocking and the Twi'lek from before letting out a sort of bear creature, which looked pissed to say the least, maybe the could keep it after they were done here.

Vaya Vaya got it pretty quickly. She probably knew animals, anyways, if her purpose was to tame Amaris - who ironically was already a sentient being to begin with. They didn't know that, though, which the surprise that much better. She got it, quick, and while she seemed a bit squirmish of blood, the Twi'lek was already on the move - by releasing the animals.

She would've grinned if she could've. And as she killed the pirate by her spike, she pulled herself back up as she prepped for her next attack. This time she aimed herself towards the door. But suddenly, the man who was also fighting sent the woman beside her. She was new to fighting - unlike Dominic Shiro Dominic Shiro .

A quiet meow escaped her feline lips towards the woman in an attempt to be friendly. She breathed heavy as she finally took a moment of respite. She wouldn't wait long, though, for fear that her adrenaline would wear off. She was going to need lots of bacta after this... She could feel the burns and aches already.

She finally lunged forward, her claws piercing into the chests of two of the pirates as they were slammed on the ground by her weight. She took the lead as she bashed through the closed door with her claws, practically ripping an exit for herself and the people behind her.

A glance at both directions made her uneasy - they didn't have long before, like Vaya said, they would bring out heavier weapons.

Vaya looked at the creature she was releasing, taking a step back as it took a growl at her, then holding a hand out calmly, a voice that was soft but made intentionally somewhat deeper for the sake of the creature, "Hey, you're free now." she told it, letting a hand touch its side as it hesitantly came out, "Go, if you can. Get out of here. Get some freedom from them." She turned with it away from Dominic Shiro Dominic Shiro , Holly, and Amaris Tanenat. So that it might not pay much heed to them, then released it. In such a short time, there was some kind of connection. It was the one gift that she had truly managed to perfect, that of befriending animals so swiftly. It looked back at her once more and she whispered to it again, gesturing and looking out and away, "Run."

It seemed to understand, and rushed away from the group, it did seem to slap one of the pirates aside like a rag-doll on its way out, but it paid little heed to them except to escape. She let out a sigh, "I hope they never catch you but I don't know what else to do for you."

She felt someone yank her arm and shoved her to the ground, the Quarren was still here and alive apparently. He tried to grab her by cuffs and drag her towards his ship, "Fi'sehan! Jid san elan dan Youillao xaiyna!" [Stop! Let me go you Quarren scum!] she said naturally reverting to her language out of realization. He seemed quite sure if he was going to have to deal with all the nonsense of these guys destroying the rest of the pirates, he better have something worth selling later.

In spite of relatively weaker physical ability, she was at least, not an idiot. And while he was trying to drag her off instead of just resisting she suddenly lunged forwards after pulling back hard, knocking them both to the ground giving her a chance to yank his blaster from his hand and start running, managing to only get that disgusting black ink on the back of her neck as she ran towards the group (Amaris Tanenat Dominic Shiro Dominic Shiro ) and dived behind them.

"Please please tell me one of you is willing to let me hitch a ride for wherever your going!"

While hails of bolts still thundered on Dominic remained up front, swatting the fire aside like some kind of bug. Some was still managing to seep through the cracks in his defence, managing to hit quite close to now three he was sheltering. Granted Amaris probably didn't need that shelter, a point she proved moments later by leaping into two of them and breaking down the door. Holly turned to the new arrival, the Twi'lek smiling at her latest comment. "Don't worry, he'd let you tag along anyway, isn't that right Dom?" Dominic didn't answer, instead, he started building up a collection of force energy in his body. His movements began to slow and his breathing became heavy. "Hit the deck!" Dom released all that he had built up in a repulse, knocking all to the ground and killing a few of those scum.

"
Run for the door!" He stood aside to give the two girls a chance to run. A few of the pirates became a bit demoralised and promptly ran away through the hole that Dominic hade made earlier or through the wide open door Amaris had "opened". Dominic followed his sister outside taking a moment to catch his breath. He looked around his surroundings, deciding it best to seal those pirates off, so he pulled the doorway apart, causing it to collapse on them.

They needed to find a ship, but he hadn't the slightest clue where that might be. On one of the nearby buildings, there was what appeared to be a radio tower, which Dominic used as a sight seeing point. Climbing up to the top of it, getting a lay of the land. Eventually spotting a ship, not too far from them. An old XS Stock Light Freighter. He hoped atleast one of them knew how to fly.

Before returning to the ground, she spotted multiple large speeders with what appeared to be canons on them. Not good, they needed to get off world now. He leapt back down, with Holly attempting to catch him, though it was entirely unnessassary, she liked to think she was helping. "
Okay listen up, there's a ship, just over yonder, if one of you can fly, then we'll get you there, plus we need to move soon cause they've brought out the literal big guns."

Amaris, growled as she watched the surrounding areas. Several of the pirates seemed to be fleeing. That was a plus for them. The lack of blaster bullets smashing into her was a nice change. But by the Force, she was going to need a bunch of bacta when they got out of here... Shew as going to be one sore cat.

Yellow eyes glanced back to Vaya Vaya , Dominic Shiro Dominic Shiro , and Holly. They had already caught up - that was good. It seemed that Holly and Dominic were fighters of sorts, while Vaya seemed much tender hearted.

She heard Vaya's comments first and simply nodded. She wasn't going to leave someone who was helping them escape behind - and her eyes dived to Dominic, not quite sure about his intentions but she assumed they were good ones. If by the look he and Holly had when she bashed into the room, at least, was any indication.

Vaya was not a fighter, at least not well equipped to handle this type of fighting. She leaned her feline frame down, offering her a space to crawl onto her, in-between the spikes that jutted from most of her back and lower body. A nice little safe place, if she so chose. Either way, she ran behind Dominic, although stayed at the bottom of the radio tower - mostly to guard.

He came back down, or rather jumped. Amaris nodded - she could kinda fly a starfighter, a freighter couldn't be that much different, right? Either way, it would be their only choice - especially at the mention of big guns. She ran, though, tried to keep a pace that the two leggers could keep up.

The other problem, if she was the one to drive, is that she would need to find a pair of clothes real quick on that ship. Otherwise, everyone was going to be a butt naked woman with bruises and burns all over her.

Dominic Shiro Dominic Shiro 's sister Holly told her she could come, regardless of "Dom's" opinion on the matter it sounded. And Amaris Tanenat gave a nod. That was comforting. Imagine a person who was tanking blaster fire, covered in spikes, and huge, confirming that you could indeed come with them. Of course Vaya's natural inclination towards animals probably is what made that even better, in spite of the knowledge this wasn't indeed just an animal but a fully intelligent being. Dominic was a lot more than what he seemed too, having some kind of wild ability to knock everyone to the ground. Good grief was she the only one here who wasn't capable of anything useful here?

Amaris Tanenat seemed to recognize the fact that Vaya was completely out of her element in this combat. And even crouched down for her to crawl in, which she quickly did laying very low and trying to do her best not to make this any more uncomfortable for the Feline than necessary, "Thank you so much!" she said trying to make sure she could be heard but not be too distracting.

Now it was time for them to run, she heard Dominic ask about if anyone could fly. She did have one answer to that, unfortunately, it wasn't great,
"Technically yes, but I cannot do anything with a hyperdrive. We didn't really use those..." she said loud enough for them to hear, she didn't know if any of the rest of them could, nor that Amaris could. Nor even how she could given her being a large cat.

Dominic took note of both Amaris' gaze at the siblings and Vaya's comment to the ability to fly. Couldn't use the hyperdrive? Okay it was better than nothing, but they weren't going to get very far with those guns getting closer, so Dominic took it upon himself to clear them out. He turned to Amaris and Vaya following as the feline took the lead once again. "Head to the ship, I'll meet you there, take her with you." Motioning toward Holly. However, his sister really didn't agree with this sudden turn of events and thus protested. "What?! No, I don't wanna miss whatever your going off to do. Plus, I'm still older than you, I outrank you, and I say I'm going with you."

Dominic turned back to his sister, sighing and shaking his head. "
No, I'm not even sure if I'll make it to the ship, but if I don't at least try then that ship will get damaged, potentially to the point where we can't use it. You're not risking your life for this, you are going to leave with or without me." The siblings stared each other down until Holly gave in and agreed to go with the pair. Dominic handed her back the blue blade, smiling before jumping over a few buildings and coming face to face with a speeder platform carrying several pirates and an assortment of heavy weapons. Dominic ignited his crimson blade persuading the scum to start shooting quite violently toward him.

He began to close the distance, Ricocheting bolts of energy back toward those chits, in time, he came close enough to cut into a few of them, killing a substantial amount. Though he realized all to late that the larger canon on the speeder was aimed at him. The thing went off and a bolt came toward him, though he managed to dodge the bolt it still hit the ground close to him. Sending him hurdling into a nearby building, cutting and bruising him quite a bit. Though he still stood back up, readying himself for yet another blast from that hell canon.

He held the saber up to his chest and held strong. The bolt was fired and Dominic managed to catch it, attempting to deflect it back to its sender. Somehow, he managed to pull it off, though he did end up being sent back by a few meters. The canon blew up upon impact, causing the speeder to get blown to pieces. "Okay... One down, god knows how many more."

Amaris waited as the Twi'lek got herself positioned on her spikes and fur. She seemed like she was positioned well enough, and so long as she could hold on, she should be fine. And if she didn't... Well, they'd figure it out as they went.

Amar heard something about yes and something about a hyperdrive. She didn't know how to use a hyperdrive? To be fair, Amaris wasn't all that familiar with it either. She had flown starfighters once or twice, but not something like what she saw in the distance. But she read plenty about them, especially as her credit account was slowly getting close to being able to afford a used ship herself...

A low growl escaped her lips as Dominic Shiro Dominic Shiro tried to play hero. She nudged Holly with her head. They could leave the hangar door open and maybe he could jump. They had 'sabers, so they were Jedi. He could probably extra jump or something, right? And if he was able to take out a bunch of the weapons, all the better.

Holly, Amaris, and Vaya Vaya ran towards the ship. Holly shot a couple of pirates down as they ran and Amaris sliced, literally, the guts out of two that tried to stop her. Lucky for them, they reached the freighter in a matter of minutes. Holly kept watch behind as they made their way up the landing pad and into the belly of the ship. Once inside, she shook herself as she tried to nudge Vaya off of her so she could morph back.

Vaya managed to keep herself hung on, though she did have to keep low to make sure she didn't get herself thrown off or onto a spike while Amaris Tanenat was running towards the ship. She saw that Dominic Shiro Dominic Shiro seemed to be pulling some kind of...distraction? No no, he was trying to actually get rid of the threat. Good grief dude. She was definitely appreciative though.

Holly was also helping out, yeah, Vaya was doing very little in that regard. Thank goodness they'd made it to the ship. The moment Amaris stopped to let her off she would go to slide off quickly saying quickly, "Thank you!" And then rushing to get to the pilots seat blaster in hand just in case there was anyone there. At least not in this cockpit apparently. Though she hoped there wasn't anyone on board at all. She didn't stay behind to see if Amaris could change, she didn't know to.

She started right away trying to get the ship up and running, though she had absolutely zero intent of leaving Dominic Shiro Dominic Shiro behind. She hoped that one of them knew how to get the hyperdrive to go somewhere at least, because she'd never used on in her life. Just...the rest of the ship. "Is everyone on?! Should I try and go pick up...'Dom'" She yelled behind her into the rest of the ship, and repeating the name that Holly had said since it was the only one of them she knew so far.

Oh boy was this a fortunate day, or unfortunate, depending on your point of view.

Dominic emerged from his latest crater, he'd taken out several of those guns by now, and his body was really starting to feel the strain of this continuous assault. Nonetheless he pressed on taking a rocket fired at him and using the force to throw it into a group of pirates nearby. Spreading bodies all around the street, Dominic fell back down to one knee again. He really needed to go get to the ship, surely that was all of them right? He climbed onto a nearby building, looking over all the fire and destruction that the group had caused, he couldn't find any more of those guns around, so he simply decided to run along the outpost wall to the ship.

He took one last look around before setting off, noticing the animals that Vaya had freed, ripping those scum to shreds. He started running toward the wall, noticing the ship starting up in the distance, not only being able to hear it, but feel the vibrations in his bones. He hoped that the three of them had made it together and in one piece. By this point, there were only a select few of these filth who remained to fight. most of the rest were either running away or laying on the ground in pieces.

In all likelihood, they shouldn't be trying to stop the group escaping, what with many of their comrades torn asunder. Though, for some reason, they pressed on, many of them moving toward the ship itself, where Dom was also headed. Running atop the wall may have taken longer, but it gave him a good vantage point to judge the situation. He came to a stop as close to the ship as the walkway would allow him to get. Standing for a few moments before noticing two things.

1)Those pirates had come in numbers.
and 2) Holly was on the entrance ramp.

The adrenaline was starting to ware off on Dominic, after a decently long break from the battle at hand, which caused him to slow down and start feeling all the hits he had taken. He leaned against the railing next to him in an effort to rest for a short while. Watching as his sister tried her hardest to deflect the bolts aimed at her while taking potshots of her own. Until, one shot hit it's mark. Hitting Holly in the shoulder, Dominic, having noticed this suddenly felt a surge of anger come over him and his eye turned yellow. His red blade glowed brighter and a slash of red through the air followed Dominic as he leapt from the wall into the middle of the pirate group. As he landed, he practically tried to push his palm into the ground, exerting another collection of force energy, however this was so much stronger than his last and most importantly...

Allowed him to conjure force lightning from through the ground and to the pirates electrocuting them to the point of death. He clipped the Blade back onto his belt and ran to his sister. Well, he tried to run. With what he had just done, he only just made it onto the ramp and promptly fainted of exhaustion before managing to check on his sister's condition.

Vaya Vaya crawled off of her spikes and fur and ran off towards the cockpit. That was fine by Amaris. And it was especially true as she finally began to feel the damage that the fight had done to her body. Burns. Bruising. She didn't think there was any internal damage. But she really needed to get some bacta on her skin along with a shot.

Really, she just couldn't live with herself if she ended up scarring from it. Bacta was a huge priority.

Finding a closet in the ship, she found what was basically a large jacket for an Epicanthix. With a sigh of relief, she leaned against the wall as her body morphed back into its normal state. She grabbed the jacket and wrapped it around herself and tying it off.

She caught her reflection as she limped out of the closet and toawrds the cockpit. A swollen, black left eye. Her right cheek was practically purple, along with blood dripping from her head. Force only knew what the rest of her looked like. But man, was it hard to walk. "Get Dom," she croaked out with a sore throat.

With that in mind, she limped back to the landing pad to help Holly and Dominic Shiro Dominic Shiro .

But by the time he got there, Holly had been knocked on the ground with a shoulder wound and Dom was passed the hell out. "Get us into the atmosphere and into the asteroid belt!" She yelled over her shoulder to Vaya. "I can warp us out here once I get these two stabilized!" With that in mind, she dragged Dominic further into the ship where Holly was, crouched as she held her shoulder that had a very bad laser wound. She'd live, though.

She smashed the landing pad button, causing the ramp to slowly close as blaster fire continued to get through until it was fully shut. "Medic kits... Gotta be around here somewhere," she groaned as she started looking around. "It's going to be okay," she said with a weak smile to Holly.

Vaya glanced back as she heard Amaris Tanenat speak after changing into human, "Qa ji kark?" [what the kark] she said to herself shaking her head. Alright, that's a bit more of a new one. Sure she knew of shapeshifters, didn't actually ever run into one. Those definitely didn't exist on Ryloth, at least that she knew of. If they did they came from out of world. She heard them fighting back there and was incredibly grateful whens he heard that it was time to take off.

She did that about as quickly as possible. It was slower then an air-speeder but it sure was better then the animal carriers she'd had to use. You couldn't really...flip those. You always had to keep them upright. This thing though. Close those doors and they were on the move. Rushing up towards the atmosphere and hearing Amaris talking about getting Dominic Shiro Dominic Shiro and Holly stabilized, well that was incredibly worrying,
"Are they gonna be ok?" she called back clearly concerned.

She could still hear the blaster fire and, apologetically, started putting full throttle at an angle to get away from the pirates first and only then heading up. She glanced out the viewport to see the animals below,
"Do ohk si'jovi'asi" [I'm sorry.] she said quietly even though she knew they couldn't hear her. If she could she'd have brought them along. Given them a better home on Ryloth. Now their only chance was to find somewhere to run to out here.

"Oh hold on." she muttered navigating her way up towards the atmosphere and the astroid belt. Heh, this wasn't so bad. Sure it felt...weird to have every direction being essentially sideways or up. But It wasn't that hard. She could get used to it, she didn't get outside of the planets gravity though, instead intentionally circling around to try and get away from where the pirates were so if they did try and come after them they'd have to make a turn far to one side of the planet while she hid behind the astroids.

She was nervous though, at the controls, not knowing what was going on back there, "Did you find their emergency supplies? They're usually in storage rooms or entranceson the wall or overhead panels. Otherwise check the bathrooms if they have them, some people think that's a good place for them." she had no idea how much experience the cat...woman...lady had with this type of stuff. "Is there anything I can help with? I can't fix a blaster bolt or something but I've helped a lot of hurt animals with fixes to minor injuries, or temporary fixes for some others."

Really she just felt she should be doing more then getting them into this astroid belt to hide. But, if this was where they needed her she was here.

Dominic's worn body swayed along with the ship and it ascended. His limbs may have gone limp but his mind was still incredibly active, placing him in an almost dream like state. 'Waking' to find himself in a densely populated Market, almost everyone had completely black eyes. He stumbled through the crowd until he came to an opening where he saw several people led face down on the ground. He looked behind him once again to find the street walled off, it had happened without a sound. And as per usual with dreams, you first perceive them to be real.

Dominic spun back around on his heel, to find those bodies from before stood in front of him, all with completely white eyes. This frightened Dom half to death and made him reach for his lightsaber. However, it they weren't there, both blades had seemingly vanished without a trace, Dom looked back up to see a face he knew all too mere inches away from his face, peering deep into his soul. That of Kahlil's. Dominic had nothing too do but stand there and stare back. Though only a few seconds later, his old master opened his mouth and spoke only a single word. "Traitor..." Other figures emerged behind him, all people from the old crew, each with their own contribution. "Failure... Coward.... Liar..."

After that final comment, Dominic returned to the real world, sitting up sharply and breathing heavily, though all of a sudden clutching at the side of his torso, something was probably broken. He looked around, spotting his sister and another person seemingly searching for something. Dominic stood up with a groan and a stumble, grabbing at the wall with his other hand to support himself. "
Who are you?" He began moving toward Holly, limping even against the wall as he moved, taking note of this person's limp, indicating some kind of injury, not to mention the smell of burning hair.

His stumbling was cut short when the ship tilted slightly, causing Dominic to fall back to the ground, still clutching his torso. "
Damn it, where the Twi'lek and the Cat?"

"Yes!" She hollered back at Vaya Vaya . Amaris paused as she closed her eyes, biting down on her lip as pain wrecked through her body. Damn, the whole situation had taken more out of her than she thought. The ship was on its way up and Amaris grabbed a hold of a pipe as she steadied herself.

Bingo, it was situated in the closet in front of the restrooms. "Found 'em," she muttered as she grabbed the medkit and limped back to Holly and Dominic. Holly had been helping, too, despite the fact that she should have been resting instead. "Let's get you taken care of," she muttered as she collapsed onto the metal flooring while also opening the medkit and throwing the items down. Bacta, bandages, 3 bacta shots, that was good.

Amaris took the shot and stabbed it right above Holly's shoulder so it would start working faster on that part. "Put the bacta lotion over your shoulder and anywhere else you're injured," she muttered as she took a shot herself. She perked a brow as Dominic Shiro Dominic Shiro finally returned to life. "I'm the cat," she muttered. "Twi'lek is--" The ship lurched and she quickly made sure the supplies didn't move away. "Driving. Here," she tossed some bacta and the last shot towards him.

She resisted the urge to curl herself into a fetal position and instead got up and limped her way to the cockpit with Vaya. Bacta shots would take a few hours, if not more before healing them. "Alrighty," She muttered as she fell into a seat at the cockpit. Lithe and bruised fingers pressed on the navigation system, gearing up the hyperdrive system. "What's the best planet to go to?" She asked. She didn't have a home, after all. "Can you help them?" She asked afterwards - she could navigate the ship, mostly, anyways, - if Vaya could help Dominic and Holly get themselves bandaged up.
