Invasion A Fool's Hope | GA Defeat on Ziost II

Chancellor Emerita / Advisor of State

The Chancellor stood alone, a single point of light. A million faces stared back at her, despair in their eyes. The projections of thousands of fallen soldiers illuminated the sky behind her. As the bodies of the fallen returned to Coruscant, their coffins lining the Avenue of the Core Founders, a period of faction-wide mourning united the peoples of the Alliance once more. Their weary leader gazed out at them with the wetness of sorrow at the corners of her dark brown eyes. The black silks of melancholy enveloped her form, interrupted only by the slash of cerulean and gold that denoted her high office. All was quiet and then... she spoke...

"Even as we thank those who gave their lives in defense of this Alliance, we must not be overcome by sorrow... For death is not the end. Death is just another path that we all must walk - eventually. And as the fog that shrouds the mystery of this life rolls back, and all turns to gold and sunshine... we are destined to become one with the Force and it is to the Force that we commit these brave souls. And so, we do not mourn those who become one the Force, but we celebrate the melodies of their life as they join with the great chorus of the cosmic."

As we look toward the future, let us also recognize the incredible talent and contributions of those members who helped coordinate the war between light and darkness. First, the Alliance would be remiss not to recognize the service of our Triumvirate Allies who joined us valiantly in the battle against the dark forces of the Sith. To all Triumvirate participants of Ziost II, the Alliance grants the Triumvirate Medal of Merit:

And while all contributions to the war effort were without equal in their dedication and service to the Alliance, we also seek to recognize specific individuals who went above and beyond in service to the Alliance.

This medal is named for the seal of the Alliance which represents the ideals of the faction. For this invasion, the distinction goes to Leon Gallo Leon Gallo .

The Signet of Fidelity is awarded to those allied forces of the Triumvirate who have served valiantly in defense of the members of the treaty. These individuals prove that even the greatest of differences can be overcome by a common commitment. During the Ziost invasion, this distinction will be awarded to DECEASED Erskine Barran DECEASED Erskine Barran .

War is an abomination and it makes abominations of those who partake readily in its perverse delights. To be an abomination of war is to disobey orders, lawfully given, to commit crimes against the innocent citizenry, to obstruct the lawful liberation of an oppressed planet and to put the lives of your fellow soldiers in grave danger. For those responsible for these atrocities, a grim fate looms: a court-martial.

The following participants in the war against the Sith have been court-martialled for INSUBORDINATION - or willfully disobeying the lawfully given orders of their superior officer, the Commander-in-Chief, Chancellor Adhira Chandra:
