A Fish out of Water.
Location: The Jedi Enclave.

The Repertoire descended down through the clouds of Svivren over the green-lands of the arid world, this particular area seemingly more vibrant than the rest as their lay a nexus of the Force over the forest that the Jedi Enclave was nestled within. Nearing their location, the Hangar doors were raised before the were in close proximity and the vessel slowed, relying heavily upon the repulsorthrusters to guide the corvette to a gentle landing and eventually powering down for the day.

Caedyn Arenais had some company for a change however, Sia whom had reluctantly agreed to help the Jedi Enclave of Svivren in their seeking new recruits, with the offer of Caedyn's support and a roof over her head. A chance for her to get some real rest, to experience a few days of much needed ease and perhaps, if all went well, her eventual decision to train alongside the Jedi in order to find her path and individuality as a Force User.

"Well...This is Home" Caedyn exclaimed as they left the Hangar with their belongings and stepped down the corridor leading towards the main hall and heart of the Enclave. From there, all wings were connected and if she ever got lost, finding the largest room of the Jedi facility would set her right again. "How're you feeling?" he asked out of consideration, feeling this wasn't so easy going on her as she tried to make it out to be.

There was no time for regret. No room for doubt. Sia had to do this, whether she wanted to acknowledge her situation or not, facts remained. She couldn't run forever.

Stepping off Caedyn's ship felt all sorts of weird. The hardened once-solider felt anxious an insecure. There was no protical for what she was doing-- only past experience and a leap of faith. With all the concerns she had to bear in mind, there were worse places to arrive than Svivren. The pleasant climate hit her as the doors opened. Something about the chirping birds in the trees above her... it put her to ease at once.

Animals only lingered where there wasn't danger.

The abundance of green was warm lit. Serene. Befitting, she supposed. Wasn't that how jedi were suppose to be? She took cautious steps off the ship, the little hairs on her arms standing on edge.

Something felt off. Like the air was charged with something intangible. It wasn't unpleasant, spare for the fact it bordered unnatural. She rubbed at her arms, her gaze sharp as it jumped from their surroundings to him.

"Do you feel it? Something's wrong." She did not walk further, on edge and unsure.

She was referring the the nexus.

Caedyn nodded, a grin forming in response to the confirmation of her Force Sensitivity. He had felt it when they'd met, yet there was an element of uncertainty about it; It had been more of an assumption and only now to be out in the open air with her voicing notice of the change in their environment. "I feel it" Caedyn answered, turning to smile to her approvingly; "The Force is far stronger here than most other places. It is what we know as a Force Nexus, a pool of power from which we can draw from within our training within the Enclave. There's a number of locations and places that have a Nexus alike this one spread out across the Galaxy but they are rare and only those able to use the Force can sense them" he explained a little, though Sia would come to understand it in her own terms as her days progressed within the Enclave Grounds.

As they entered into one of the many corridors of the Enclave, students and mentors passed them by, going about their day to day activities, each acknowledging them with a nod or a more formal bow in Jedi tradition. Caedyn would respond with a nod, greeting one of two of them vocally, however otherwise moving along in their means to get Sia situated within quarters of her own.

The largest of the room was the Great Hall, the center of the Enclave and the first room one might step into should they have come through the entrance to the Enclave, rather than the Hangar as the pair had. It was vast, and held statues of Jedi surrounding it's perimeter. There were two levels to it, with stairs leading to the second floor on either side. Upon the main floor itself, there were tables and couches, meeting quadrants for social affairs as well as a number of terminals for Jedi and visiting personnel to sign themselves into when visiting or returning home. Gesturing to one of these as they walked on by, Caedyn spoke up once more; "We'll get you set up with a Comport Account, and from there you can sign in or out whenever you come and go. This helps us keep track of who's present in case of an emergency or missing persons...-That sort of thing".

"Any questions so far?".

Sia followed numbly through, unnerved to find out she was feeling one of those jedi things. She knew what she was capable of, it was why she had another jedi's sword in her bag at her back. But she had turned from that potential at his death. Now it seemed to be shoving itself back in places where she couldn't say no.

Couldn't he just turn it off?

The Force, that was.

She walked with him through the halls, more animalistic than she realized as person after person acknowledged them or came their way. It had been a long time since Sia had placed herself in any civilized company. What had been once been justifiable unease had become a behavior pattern that she couldn't relax out of.

By the time they reached the terminal, her stress was tangible. She gave the place a sharp look, the question falling bluntly from her lips. "How do you pay for all this?"

The question of finance was a good one, and something that many had wondered yet been too polite to ask about. For most however, Caedyn's heritage was no secret and nor was the legacy that Kay and Veiere Arenais had built for he and his Sister. "My Mother and Father were once the leaders of the Commenor Systems Alliance..." He answered softly, "It started with our home-world but soon expanded and before long they were King and Queen of countless worlds...-That's where the funding came from initially"; It had given Caedyn enough equity to reinvigorate the old Enclave and make something new of it all.

"The Jedi also take on assignments exclusively for the Outer Planets Alliance, and we get funding in return" Caedyn continued, explaining a bit more in regards to their role within the Outer Rim Territories. "We of course reserve the right to choose which jobs we take on. We wouldn't want to take on anything too political or possibly immoral after all. Then there are also the independent groups, organizations and governments that ask for our assistance. As much as we wish we could do it all free of charge, we rely on their charity for continued sustenance" it wasn't exactly the reality that most people thought of when picturing the Jedi, though they weren't a governing power and nor did they seek to monetary gains where they could afford otherwise. There was a certain prerequisite in whom they asked for donations and funding, governments and larger corporations, never the single house-holds or independent families.
