Hello, I am very much enjoying my time here and I was hoping someone could clear some things up for me please.

Is there a amount of time you have to wait until making a second character? (I'm not sure I want one, I'm just curious.)

Is there anything else I can do here whilst I am waiting for a response on a RP thread?

And

What happens if someone in a RP thread stops replying? (Again just curious, I am waiting on a response but it hasn't been that long, this question is for if they have not replied for a week or so)

1st. No you can go ahead make any new character when you want

2nd. You can look for other people to thread with, either joining a faction or looking for people to thread with on Looking For Group. You can search the marketplace to buy items or what not, or you can create a lore on something you want to add or make.

3rd. You can PM him/her on ETA for next reply, if they're not going to continue you can drop the thread.

You.... can make another RP Thread? Invent some stuff in the Factory? Checkout the Marketplace to see what people have invented/created that they are offering for your character to use? Hangout with the rest of us on the Discord?

Hi Maxine,

1.) In regards to your question concerning second characters, there isn't a wait time or any other conditions you need to fulfill before you can make your second character. If you'd like, you could make your second character now. If you go to your user account's Preferences, there should be a section under Settings called Sub Accounts. From there you can create a second character account.

2.) You could explore the Codex and Factory and develop your submissions to contribute to the shared storyverse.

3.) I'd send a message to check-in on your writing partner if they haven't responded in a while. I'd also recommend getting on Discord, that can be a useful means to informally communicate with people.

There have been a number of useful replies to this already, But I'd like to clear up something related to this^

Chaos operates on "Fluid Timeline", Meaning that you can essentially post in as many threads as you'd like all at once! It is recommended that you set up a sort of timeline for yourself though. I personally just add threads to my timeline according to the order I joined them in.

I would usually reply individually, but I would be typing the same thing out to most of you.

I was not aware of the fluid timeline, I thought a character would be "locked" inside an RP until it was over, thank you for the insight on this, I think I will wait until my character is more established before doing this though.

For the other options you have given me, I will look into them all, and maybe find a good thread or two to read, potentially one of the larger event threads to also catch me up on the lore.

I do not currently have any way to access discord as my phone can not run it, and my laptop is broken. I will keep it in mind for the future though. Thank you!
