A Dark Muse: Two to Tangle

"Ah, that's the thing you see..." Ra's voice drifted into a silence for a moment, filled with her thoughts. She wasn't an empathic or able to use telepathy, but these thoughts and emotions were strong enough that maybe [member="Darth Exode"] could pick up on them.

The sense of Ra not knowing who she was anymore. She was no longer 'normal', a non force user. A confusion within the human, a personal turmoil- life had been routine and mundane for her until she met Stardust and then the Dominion. Being trained as a Jedi by Dune and given the Jedi code to live by as well as some training in the Force. Those skills would take a lifetime or more to learn though and Ra had just begun that path.

Her attention drawn for a moment from her thoughts when her drink arrived, Ra went back into them quickly.

Where did she belong? The knowledge of right and wrong had been given to her by her house parents at the orphanage and those had been very lenient. She knew her place wasn't among non force users, but she didn't enjoy being a 'new' student thrown in with kids that were young enough to be a potential child of her own.

"I don't know who I am anymore."

Ravana grabbed Ra by the sides of her face, and held her so that their forehead touched, and they stared directly into each other's eyes. "Woyunoks. You are fine the way you are. Do not overthink this. You know who you are, because you always act like YOU. That is Saarai. Truth. Your Qo, Your Path, will be fraught with Shâsot, Struggle, especially if it a path to know thyself. Worry not, Woyunoks, Worry not. You will find yourself, even if you do not believe you will. You will find what you need. Sooner or Later. Until then... Do what you wish. What you want. What your Conscious advises you to do, Woyunoks. That is all you need. No More. No Less."

It seemed that when she was drunk, or overly passionate, Ravana switched in and out of Common, and into the Sith Language.

The words of [member="Darth Exode"] spoken almost into her mind were a comfort to Ra. Though she didn't understand some of them, the intended meaning was clear. Debating on whether to pull away or not, Ra decided it best to just stay put.

"Um, what is a woyunoks mean?"

That was the only word in everything Ravana said that didn't have a clear meaning. The young sith had called Ra several different names pertaining to the color of her hair or her path within the force. Even though she was more light than dark, the dark would always be a part of Ra and even she knew that.

"I am who I am, but even still I don't know what I am."

Maybe she was thinking too hard and should just relax, let the evening go naturally and not try to plan anything. Taking another sip of her drink, Ra wonders just where it will go.

Ravana let Ra go, just before she grabbed her drink. "Just Relax. Seriously. It does you no good to worry. Let it all flow. and Woyunoks means "Little One", it is basically a term of endearment." Turning to her own drink Ravana had a generous sip.

"There is little you can do, so just go with it."

Ra took a moment after [member="Darth Exode"] released her head, took a breath and long drink of her Twi'lek Surprise. Setting it down the table, Ra came to decision. If this was a place to party and she had never been to one, then that was what she going to do.

Finishing off her drink, Ra stood up, reached her hand out to Ravana and with a mild flourish of her hand and a friendly wink, held it out to the woman.

"Would you care to dance?"

There was no innuendo intended, just two females out having fun and looking for a chance to dance.

"Of course, my dear... I thought you would never ask." With a deliberate and delicate care, she took Ra's hand, and headed to the dance floor. The floor was full of nothing but just Club Dancing, nothing with style or finesse really, but it was all passion and sex. She looked at Ra and giggled a bit. Ravana wondered how Ra would react in this environment. This... may be fun...

Ravana gently took the hand Ra offered and they walked out onto the floor they had just been watching minutes ago. Her drinks finally gotten to her, Ra almost looked like she was in a daze, her eyes not fully focused and her steps not entirely sure the floor was stable.

Reaching a location between other dancers, Ra closed her eyes to get a feel for the beat of the music and the flow of the other dancers around them. There was no real form and it all seemed chaotic. Opening her eyes, Ra looked around and started mimicking those closest to her. A gentle bend to her knees, a sway to her hips and bopping of her head, she found the rhythm of the dancers and music.

Looking at [member="Darth Exode"] across from her, she gave a sith a large smile, letting her see the joy on her face.

Smiling indulgently, Ravana swung her head around, and begun to swing her hips to the beat. A mixture of the Slutty women, and Whorish Men grinding against each other, and the Alluring performance of a professional Belly Dancer, swaying around, and bumping, grinding, dropping... all manner of moves, enhanced my smoldering glances, the licking of lips, and not so subtle winks, to both the male and the female crowd, soon had a number of the people on the dance floor practically drooling over the woman.

Ravana looked to the ceiling as she danced, she say women and men in dance cages above, some with stripper poles, and some without. She may be able to entertain herself while she was here...

Watching the moves of Ravan, Ra took further lessons from her and though she wasn't as graceful and sensual as the sith, she did get some attention. Somehow the woman there knew Ra wasn't interested and left her alone. The random bump being the only contact they gave her.

A man, young and breath grabbed her and tried to drag her away and Ra pulled away from him. Sending him a dirty look and turning back to Ravana. She moved in closer to her companion and tried to push the man out of her mind.

She watched the byplay with Ra with a bit of amusement. Ra was obviously letting go of her emotions, and another creeper decides that he wants a piece of a woman that doesn't want any.

Using the Force, Ravana jumped up to an empty Cage, got it lowered, and started pole dancing on the pole inside, swinging this way and that, as she kept her eyes on Ra below, and waited to she what would happen...

Ra observed Ravana jump on top of one of the cages and mange to lower it slightly, making it easier for those that wanted to watch to get a good view. Showing off like that was not something she wanted to do personally so she kept her feet on the ground. Besides after three Twi'lek surprises she wasn't sure she could even keep her balance up there.

Dancing along now, the crowd closes in again and the same guy tried again to pull Ra away.

With a growl at him, she pulls her hand away from him before he got a good grasp on her and she looks around for another group to dance with. None being seen and the guy still coming, she turns to face him. Her eyes light up a bright gold, a flare in the dim of the room and raising her hands, she pushed him through several layers of bodies dancing around. And like a bowling ball knocking pins over in its wake, the dancers turn on him.

Some reaching out to help him, others to beat the crap out of him. Ra turns away from the scene caused and decided to order a forth drink.

[member="Darth Exode"]

Currently hanging upside down of the entrance to the cage, Ravana starts to laugh uproariously at the scene in front of her. A creeper, shown up by a woman using the Force, and this time it wasn't her. She watched as the men down below is beat up or defended by the divided masses, drinking in every emotion that pulsed and was projected from the dancers down below, the anger, the frustration and the pain, like she was a mosquito and this was a vein. Any Force User would be able to feel what was happening, and maybe even guess as to what was happening, as it would be a weird sensation to feel.

Finding herself up by the bar and away from the dance floor, Ra turns to look as she waits for her drink. The guy that approached her is nowhere to be seen by her. Her drink served, Ra looking for a place to sit as much by herself as she could finds a corner spot away from as much of the noise as possible and sits down. The empty table in front of her reminding her she had come with [member="Darth Exode"].

Turning her attention, Ra looks back at the cage and her friend hanging upside down and laughing at the dancers below.

Having had a few minutes to herself, Ra had calmed down and been able to consider her actions and how they had made her feel. She had barely touched her drink before [member="Darth Exode"] arrived and asked how it had felt.

Ra looked across at Ravana, her golden gaze highlighted by the light of a spotlight for a moment as it traveled around the room. She tipped her glass around in a circle, watching the ice and liquid flow as she moved the glass.

Looking again at her companion, Ra came to a conclusion. While the Sith may not be actively trying to turn to the Dark Side, she had brought her here for a reason. More than just to talk and hang out. While Ra did have emotions, she rarely allowed herself to feel them, let alone those of the people around her. Here, they ran rampant and unfettered. Here there was no choice but to feel, both your own and others.

Her actions had been done in annoyance and anger at the guy pawing at her. While all she did was push him away, her action had been in anger and caused some people on the floor to attack the guy. So while she did not feel bad at doing it, at the same time she did.

"Relieved to be honest."

Ravana's normal Smirk grew even larger, almost predatory in nature, as she looked at the dance floor. "I can FEEL all of that... the Pain... the Anger... the Sorrow... The Lust... it is like an addictive tonic to me, that I would gladly drink of, time and time again, even if it did destroy me."

She looked over at Ra as she described how she felt. "Liberating, isn't it? Here I was, looking to have a good time by myself, but I ended up running into a greyling, and showing her what she has been missing out on, on the other side of the fence she sits. And I didn't even intend that. I find that quite interesting..."

Ra continued to play with her drink before lifting it to her lips and taking a sip from it. The first had started to wear off, so the ground was stable again. She was likely going to feel like crap in the morning, but was willing to pay the price for it. Tonight had been learning experience for her.

She looked across at [member="Darth Exode"] out of the corner of her eyes and nodded.

"Yes, in a way. What is a grayling?"

Ravana had called her that a few times tonight.

"You have barely tapped into the Force, and have little training, hence the -ling part. You are Grey at the moment. Closer to the Light Side of the Force, Currently, but Still Grey, the place in between the Light and the Dark. Most people that use the Force... tend to dislike Greys. They are not Jedi, thus the Jedi dislike them of fear of them using the Dark Side. Sith usually dislike them, for being to weak to embrace the Dark Side, as they say of the Jedi. So Grey Siders, usually have no allies, other than Grey Siders. And that is the truth. It is fine to follow the Grey... but it is one of the hardest paths to follow, and usually leaves on in little options of allies." Ravana spoke like one that had seen it before, and knew where it would eventually take her. "The upside, being that a Grey Sider can use both Sides of the Force, and not have the powers be weakened, like Light Side Powers would be for me, for example."

Ra nods in understanding. What the sith pointed out was true, she was new to the whole Force thing. Though her training had all be done by a Jedi so she leaned more to the light side of the matter. Taking another sip, she considers her reply before speaking. The drink affected her thought process and clouded her mind slightly, making her feel fuzzy.

"I know nothing of the dark side, only that emotions are used and those are fleeting."

She hopes the woman next to her doesn't hate her for not being all dark and will remain at least allies in future endeavors.

"Which is stronger?"

"The Dark Side is obvious. It is Direct. The Dark Side is Better for Harming you enemies, it has been known to be able to keep people from dying, and I have even heard rumours of the Dark Side being used to created Singularities, Black Holes and Worm Holes. The Light Side... is powerful, I guess, but in a different way. The Light Side, I guess, is more subtle, and is focused on less showy techniques." She didn't seem all that convinced in what she was saying about the Light Side. "I am not the person to ask. The person to ask is a Jedi, like the one that has been teaching you. I can tell you, however, that training using the Dark Side can often be much more painful than the training of the Light. Sith Lightning is the Perfect Example."
