A Confession Worth Four Men

Jericho wasn't stunned or shocked, with the relationship the two had indeed, established. Things like this were going to tend to happen, at this point in his life. The warrior, if anyone had to courage to come forth, say some as immense as this he would take to the time to speak and ensure everything was alright. The expression from [member="Solan Charr"] was he tried to laugh it off and express his confusion in a humorous manner. A reaction of a fool, if anything else. Though, Jericho haven't heard much from the "king" aside the playful banter from the entire time here and so he had little to go off on. While the reaction of her so called "protector" was that of something of note, whether he meant to or not, he gave the aura as if he enraged or about to attack. For some one to be considered to be a "personal friend" so to speak and being blind sided by such news that would be the most normal reaction, had Jericho put in the position as he, the result of reaction would most likely the same. But the situation as called for, wasn't the case.

Had Jericho not noticed the body language that the young man was showing restraint with everything he could; the man's would have had removed and placed on a pike to attempt to hurt someone of note. Thought [member="Asterion"] seem more than capable as a fighter, the favor would be against him if he tried to talk down the empress not only would the imperial guard but the three men would be force to take him down. He listened to the other Jedi master's words. Master [member="Joshua DragonsFlame"] was it? From his slight expressions and body language, he was displease to hear the new and kept himself letting out the hint of laughter at the news of their affair that she seem to have with all three man. From said expression it seemed he was expect slightly more from the woman whether it be physical or something more, he did not know, he would not pretend to be some sort of mind reader but as a Lorrdian he read expressions and body language very.....very......VERY......Well.

But what of himself? Was a reaction she wanted to get from the man? No, in honesty his shocked reaction was reserved as well already used for someone who actually loved him, [member="Breanna Volsh"], was soon going to bare his twin children. Where as the Empress established the relationship that the two had there was no love just instinct and needed body intimacy. With the news of him having some sort of aged and genetically modified daughter and would be force to call it his own, or rather would he call it his own? Yes, if there was actually a shred of him with in the young girl, he would call her his own. He would not let the pride of the lover and protector, nor the laughter a king, or the displacement of a Jedi, change that. There was no worries, on that aspect, though Jericho and Bree and had no real label on their relationship, he doubted that she would take the news of him having another daughter well. But he was going to do what he does best, be honest and hope for the best.

As for Empress, the way she went about this was overall lousy and down right idiotic. Assembling all the men that would be the so called fathers to the young girl after not telling them about each affair? Empress or not, there would be repercussions of doing such an act as each man had with own values and moral code. Not only that she had relations with a King, which could mean a possible closure on some sort of alliance but showing the affairs of such could mean war. A former Grand Master of the Jedi, which could bring bounty of possible friendship with the republic and the Jedi order but having revealed having a sith lover, the grand master would be too kind and a fool to extend something more than personal relation. As for himself what did he bring to the table? Relations with the Levantines, no, they already discussed the options with that would go no where with him. Thought, Jericho believes that each can take as many lovers or love whomever they wanted, Jericho was a Sith HUNTER and known for taking the heads of MANY of the dark-side followers under the alias of The Ghost.

So his trust with her would be much more limited than it already was before and there wasn't going to be a way to repair that. It was doubtful that she cared on that aspect, as stated numerous times before, their relationship was professional and physical. But what words he have for the woman. The blunt and the honest. "This was a poor way to discuss such a matter, Milady [member="Nimue Stormson"]. There was many other ways to go about this. Though I am sure you had the most endearing of intentions for the youth that was born." He started calmly. "Regardless, if the woman in the picture has my blood flowing through her, I will still consider her one of mine. If proof be provided." His calmness echoed through the room for a moment before standing up and his eyes went from a calm hazel to a darker jet black pupil as he stared to Asterion.

Despite he understood Asterion's position on the matter, the warrior had to let his intentions be known and his was to the Dark Jedi King as well. He let out a stronger and immense aura of the force as well shook the entire palace from just from light earth shaping alone. Though he was calm and humble he let it be known he was a force to be recognized. "I will not tolerate any movement against the Empress. Out of a fit of rage or politics. Know that if she or our daughter is harmed in any shape or form know you will have me to deal with in the long run." He said stating the "our" as in all of theirs not just Empress and Jericho's and with that light show of force he took his seat and faced the bowl of fruit looking about if there was something worth eating. His eyes went back to a calm hazel and he moved his hand about the bowl.

Josh didn't really care about the others right now, instead he just listened to what Nimue had to say. As she started talking about her attempts to have a child genetically engineered, the pieces of the puzzle were starting to come together. The Jedi Master knew that Nimue was infertile, though he supposed he would have expected her to adopt. Though considering her royal status came from her apparent ability to have an heir, perhaps that wasn't possible. It was... Selfish, really. To bring a child into this world through mechanical means just to preserve your position as royalty that was married into. He could perhaps understand it if a family was desperate to have a child, when they were infertile, but not for these reasons. She mentioned that each of her lovers had been....

Oh crap.

The former Grandmaster watched as the holovid was shown, showing footage of a little girl swiftly growing up. And I do mean swiftly. He was pretty sure the girl wasn't too far behind himself in age now, once it reached the teen years. He couldn't help but feel a bit of pride when he recognized the Jedi robes, though the new punkish look in her teen years made him tilt his head.

Then she said it. This was their daughter. Morgana. Josh had been numb, emotionally, towards this at first. He didn't know what to think. It hadn't sunk in yet. But as soon as Nimue said those words, it hit him.

Oh. Chit.

The Jedi Master stared down at the table uncomfortably, slowly burying his face in his hands. He didn't know what to say, didn't know what to think. He heard Solan trying to joke and deny it, but it was true. They were all fathers of Nimue's... Daughter. He heard Jericho sound like proud papa and proclaim nobody would harm Nimue or the child.

"..... Well, now I feel like I'm on that holovision show, and the guy being told I'm the father" Josh would quietly joke. Right about now, he was wishing he was the guy being told he was not the father, dancing, spinning on his head and doing cartwheels. But that wasn't the case.

Jokes. That was how he coped. He was conflicted, he didn't know what to do, what to say, what to think.

Nimue said or did nothing at first. Just a great big deep breath as she took it all in. She knew what she'd done was wrong, not telling them about this beforehand. Each one was different and yet something to be expected. [member="Asterion"] and his growing anger. She closed her eyes, holding back tears, as she felt she'd betrayed him the most. And after going through all the trouble to find him and declare him the one she wanted to spend the rest of her life with too. She had a feeling he may not be as bold to stand with her after this. [member="Joshua DragonsFlame"] giving his little comment about feeling like a ton of bricks had landed on him at that very moment from the revelation. It was both [member="Solan Charr"] and [member="Jericho"] who had actually surprised her most.
Solan claiming to have met Morgana already made her perk with both surprise and fear. She was about to ask before it was clear he had no idea who he was meeting at the time. It was a relief, in a sense, though she did now find it hard to believe that Morgana, in a sense, had met one of her fathers already. Apparently she'd learned the same tricks Solan had taught her when meeting him. Jericho, on the other hand, had given what started as a backhanded speech that soon turned into one of support. Hearing him declare his willingness to stand and protect both her and her daughter gave her a bit of relief. It did, however, lead to what she wanted fro them next.
"Yes. I was a fool. I was selfish. I was also a woman who'd lost so much and wanted so much back." She said, trying to fight back tears as she went on. "But this child, this prodigy, was not meant to bring any harm to you. While you, Solan, may be a ruler of your world I did not intend for her to take the place of any heirs you may have. She is my successor. No others. And I did not mean for her to be a burden to any of you....if you so chose." She hung her head with defeat as she further said "That is also why I brought you here now. To tell you this." Looking back to all the men she said "The time will come soon. Morgana will be a Jedi knight. And she will be a strong-willed girl. But most of all....she will finally learn the truth. Who she is. Where she came from." She looked back to the throne in the room and added "What she is destine for." Then looking back to them she finished with "I will not force any of you to have to bear this burden. If you want nothing to do with me, or her, then you are free to leave and never look back."

[member="Nimue Stormson"]

Solan blinked. "Oh ya, i didn't even think about the whole heir problem. Oh well, not like it was something massive to worry about... if i may Nimue but your worry is wrongfully placed. OR atleast i would hope considering those i know of in the room and the reputation that some should have well as the reactions i have seen. The only burden of something like this is one that a mind would create on its own. A relation is by no means a burden and nor is a worry about what her future will be. The more -you- worry, the worse your fears will become and this is coming from someone who needs fear to use the force."

He stood slowly, dusting off his clothing and smiling as he leaned forward onto the table. "So in short Nimue, stop worrying. Its clear that Jericho here plans to take on your 'burden'. Hell even those this makes two kids i didn't find out about until they were grown up i am more than glad to. Maybe for once there will be a Jedi that won't try to gut me on sight. Dragonsflame here probably already sees it as his duty and your Boyfriend is radiating enough emotions i could burn down your palace with a snap of my fingers and a little fire. Don't discount what you think and personally anyone that says they will not help you... well you are a coward. Plain and simple." He turned his eyes around at the others before smiling and clapping his hands. "After all, this is suppose to be happy news, you all have a kid now, so stop looking so serious and glum. Especially you blackbird." He looked at Nimue and smiled. "And i must say, for having a kid you still look as beautiful as ever. Just a heads up."

It seemed to Asterion that every other blind fool in the room was happy to be part of some greater game of deception, and that they actually thought this was going to benefit them and the bastard child before them, looping in a blur of muted blue holo-imagery. Inside his chest, his muscles were tight and his breathing slow as he watched [member="Nimue Stormson"] put on an emotional show.

[member=Jericho] was clearly the worst to be involved – a clean cut Jedi, whom would move mountains just to do what his code demanded of him; be virtuous, selfless and protective to all those blah blah blah. He locked eyes with him during his proud speech, and Asterion wanted to cave his face in as soon as he started to nonchalantly toy with the fruit in some casual move. It irked him enough that Nimue was now deciding the fate of Morgana without any other involvement, but also demanding she follow the path of the Jedi – the Jedi that had cast him out, and the Jedi that Jericho represented.

[member="Joshua DragonsFlame"] was batting things away with poor attempts at humour that were easy to ignore, and [member="Solan Charr"] clearly had more history with Nimue than expected, and out of all of them seemed to be the one with a greater connection to Nimue and now the child.

This was a situation Asterion didn’t come back from Teth for. He shot another glance to the Empress and scoffed quietly, shaking his head at the breadcrumbs she left for them all to rally around and deliberate and circle each other like Nexu to decide who does what next and who was best for the mother and child.

If he wasn’t so angry, he would smile at the absurd notion of this that mirrored a holo-film made famous years ago with notable Zabrak actors Thom Sel’lek, Te Dansun and Stev Grutenbersh. But this wasn’t a comedy – this was real and happening now.

”If any of you think this arrangement is ever going to be beneficial then you’re more blind than I thought. You’re welcome to her; whoever wants to play Daddy to a test-tube creation with a liar as a Mother. Excuse me.”

Pushing up from the back wall, Asterion walked around the table to the rear windows, pushing the right one open as it swung out to lead to the balcony. Bitter air blasted in the room gently and struck Asterion like the news just had – square in the face and taking his breath away. He embraced the cold and leant on the outside stone rail, knuckles white with tight fingers wrapped around. It seemed he was blind even to something so obvious he would have picked up on in his prime in a heartbeat around Nimue.

So, Corvus and her Order were correct. They were right all along. The proof was most likely in whatever all of this was. Synthetically conceiving a child... Using pieces of DNA from several lovers. That told the story. It sounded like it could only be the work of sith magic, or sith alchemy. Perhaps a bit of both. Even now, he could sense the dark side from Nimue, stronger then their last meetings. It was as if her presence had been weak enough to easily mask, easy for someone to overlook as it slipped under the radar. Now, it was strong enough for him to notice. What Ryan had sensed, he could now as well. But he felt no victory in this unveiling. Nothing screamed victory about this situation at all.

The words of the others hardly reached his ears, the conflict on hand was what was on his mind. The Jedi Master took a deep breath, his eyes closed as he tried to relax. Put his emotions to the side and make a rational decision.

"..... I will do what I can" The Jedi Master finally spoke, opening his eyes to look Nimue dead in her own. "While it appears that Morgana will have her hands full with her other fathers, I will be there best I can" he added. He had made his bed, it was best he lay in it.

"On another note, allow me to make something clear" Joshua would speak, calmly, though this time firmly as his gaze became sharp. "I am NOT happy that you used my DNA for creating a child without even speaking to me on the matter. That was very irresponsible for someone of your position, Nimue" The Jedi Master would chide, his tone a chilly one. He really wasn't happy about being deceived, not at all. He felt manipulated, lied to, led on, and used for her own purposes.

"But... I'll let it slide, on one condition" He spoke flatly. "I don't want anything myself. I have everything I could want in life. I had the experience of having the best job in the galaxy, a ship to explore it in, people to explore it with, and things to see, and observe and explore. So this isn't for me, you could say, but at the same time it is" he said.

"I'll let it slide only... If you make it up to him" The Jedi Master spoke confidently yet calmly, motioning toward Asterion. "Out of everyone you've lied to, and deceived today.... This man has to deal with it worse then the rest of us do. You two agreed to spend the rest of your days together, no? Then make up for what you've done to him and keep the happiness between you two. At any time, Jericho can walk away from this without consequence. Never has to see you, or Morgana again if he doesn't want to. Solan can walk away from this, take his witty banter to Zeltros and never come back, no consequence... I myself, can at any time walk away. Cut contact. Never see you again, never see Morgana again. No consequences on me. I can leave anytime with my head held high.... Asterion cannot. When the three of us leave today, he still has to deal with you everyday. All I ask is you lighten his pains best you can"

"It doesn't matter who, or what, he is.. He doesn't deserve this. The deceit, the lies, the pain. And having to deal with it more then the others and I. All I ask is make it up to him, and do the right thing. You're a smart woman, I know you can figure it out" he spoke calmly, with a small smile crossing his lips.

And not long after he said that, Asterion would open the window, letting a chill into the room. He did something unexpected, or perhaps he should have expected it.. He told the others to have Morgana before preparing to leave. The Jedi Master closed his eyes, beginning to chuckle loudly, enough for Asterion to hear for sure.

"Hmph.... Looks like I gave you too much credit. I know that not all Sith are the same... Cruel, selfish, cowardly... I know not all fit the stereotype... But you're not helping their case here" The Jedi Master chided toward Asterion amusedly. "I suppose that's what I get for trying to help people" Joshua added with another chuckle.

He wouldn't be surprised if Asterion did the predictable sith thing and attacked blindly. Of course, Joshua would be ready for him.

"So it appears I have been mistaken... My apologies, Empress" The Jedi Master spoke, opening his eyes to look at her. Doing the right thing didn't always seem to be the RIGHT thing, did it?

Everyone's response was what Nimue had hoped for. Well...most of their responses. As she suspected all of them had their protests to what she had done, but she had said what peace she could to try and make them understand. As always [member="Solan Charr"] gave a little more levity to the situation and tried to dissuade with a joke or two. Both [member="Joshua DragonsFlame"] and [member="Jericho"] gave tough but fare responses; even to where the Jedi recognized that [member="Asterion"] was the one who was hurt the most by this. And speaking of when she heard his comment and watched him walk off onto the balcony she was a little heartbroken. She knew he would be as upset as the others but she didn't know how upset he would be. Apparently that was enough evidence for her to see. After the others had agreed she only nodded to each of them, looking back to the balcony where Asterion still stood. She asked to be excused while walking out to try and talk to him.
She closed the window door to the balcony behind her as she exited, standing a few feet behind Asterion. "I know I won't be able to say anything to make you feel better...but I want you to know this was all before I realized how I felt for you. When I did this...all of this...I was a different person. Just like you were. But I've changed, and even you have to understand that."

Solan took the moment as she left the room to lean back in a chair and look at the two Jedi with a smile. He stared at them for a few seconds before simply leaning his head back and smiling. "You know, the two of you could be easier on her, sure she lied to everyone but oh well she came clean. It wasn't like she cloned all us, just gave herself something she would never be able to get on her own. Have some pride in that you were picked for su-..." He stopped mid sentence as something didn't quite make sense to him. Taeli had already cleared it with him before that it wasn't her or corvus' kid... well. Now this was interesting. She knew about this before any of them did, he wondered why. But his eyes traveled to where the other two had gone. "So anyone want to make bets on where that lover's spat will take them? I got five on to the bed chambers." He was back to himself after such a momentary train of thought, it didn't serve to not smile. He could be happy and still be a sociopathic killer, after all. That was who he is.

The Jedi Master merely nodded when Nimue excused herself. They needed to work this out on their own. He knew that. He had said his piece, there was naught else to talk about on that matter. He tried to relax a bit, tried to allow himself a moment to... Well, think. A bit of time to review, perhaps. So Corvus was right about Nimue being a darksider. Great. Joy. And Nimue had used all of their DNA, somehow for... Okay, that made no sense. Where did the DNA come from again?

You know... Maybe it was best he didn't think about it.

Regardless, she had used parts of their DNA respectively, likely via Sith Magic or Sith Alchemy, something he planned to ask her when she returned, to create some kind of... Daughter. An aged, sped up grown daughter. He let out a sigh. This entire thing was a mess. But by the looks of it, this was the end of the road for this whole situation with Nimue. Sure, he'd be visiting Morgana when he could, but she had her thing with Asterion, it appeared that their business was concluded, which the Jedi Master was fine with. All in all, the situation appeared to have concluded.

It was only when [member="Solan Charr"] spoke that he opened his eyes again. He didn't answer, merely shook his head. His answer was tough, but fair. Maybe a little too fair. For all that Nimue had done, himself and Jericho had gone far too easy on her. Far easier then even her own lover did. Her own lover disregarded her as lying trash and wanted nothing to do with her. Meanwhile these three, the "discarded" ones, had all been fine with assisting with Morgana where they could. What else Solan and Jericho did, should Asterion and Nimue's spat lead to a split, he didn't care. His business with the Empress had concluded. Simple as that.

It was Solan's last words though that got a response out of him. For the first time since he came here, he laughed. Hard. He actually laughed.

"Hahahahahahahahahaha - Ahahahahahahahahaha! Knowing how love works, they'll be back in the bedchambers by night!" The Jedi Master would joke between laughter as he sat down and relaxed a bit. Finally, the stoic, all business demeanor had faded. Josh was back to being himself again.

He looked to @Solar Charr as the man again made his jokes about himself and Master [member="Joshua DragonsFlame"] going a bit easier on the woman and her choice. He lower the fruit that he was look at on the plate and stood letting out a sigh. This was him going easy on her. Choosing to protect her and the child from harm in case, one of the others reacted poorly in such a situation. Choosing to not only act but be a father when asked without any sort of knowledge. After having been cloned and of being killed from said clone, it was amazing Jericho did not find and dispatch everyone who decided to involve themselves in this. But Jericho kept silent as he always did. It seemed that she chose wisely with whom to bed with as all except [member="Asterion"], for valid reason as he took most of the blow, were willing to chip in. If Jericho were in the sith's position he would of felt the same as he, betrayed and maybe even emotionally hurt. But all the same, Jericho didn't that much to fully sympathize with a man he just met likewise for the other two with their constant jokes on the situation and the love life that the empress will have after this. As they prattled on Jericho looked to [member="Nimue Stormson"], "This matter is settled then." He said making his way out. "Notify me, when I get an actual meeting with Morgana." Blunt and to the point, as he has been and always will be. "Until then, Milady Empress." He said facing her once more and bowed his head.

Looking down at the ground below, and hearing laughter and chat behind him before the balcony door opened, Asterion flexed his fingers on the railing and took all his strength not to lunge back in there and tear the throat from that cocky shit [member="Joshua DragonsFlame"].

Nimue spoke, but he didn’t look at her. He was angry, and embarrassed. Angry this had come up now after everything, and embarrassed it was in front of an audience – not to mention the lies and the fact there was a bastard child involved.

"Get them away from here when you’re done. Then we will talk. The last thing I am going to be right now is mocked – and I swear to god I’ll kill anyone here who does."

His breathing was deep, and he closed his eyes. It would be so easy to unleash his rage after giving so much to this manipulative liar and now her harem of lovers. Asterion’s chest heaved as he span around to face her at this thought.

"Get out of my face before I throw you off this balcony," a dark growl escaped his lips.

Given how upset [member="Asterion"] was Nimue had looked back to the room where the others were. [member="Joshua DragonsFlame"] had indeed taken things a little far, prompting her to follow with Asterion's demand. She only opened the door but stood within the doorway to the balcony itself, telling [member="Solan Charr"] to leave as well; since [member="Jericho"] had already left and Nimue only bowed her head to him. She waited until they were gone before looking back to Asterion, closing the door again. And then, when he gave his threat, she only stood there. It was not so much bravery as more of desperation that she didn't move.
"If throwing me off is what will make you happy....then by all means do it." she said.

Asterion didn’t expect the three men to go far – they had business here also, and the Knight was nothing more than a hurdle to be avoided. Let them do what they had to do, but somehow he knew this wasn’t going to be the end of their meetings, not by a long shot.

Glancing over her shoulder, he soon returned his gaze to the Empress. A thousand words wanted to come out; a thousand actions wanted to be carried out, but it would signal a weakness if he gave in. He walked a step closer to her.

"I risked my life for you – gave myself to YOUR cause for YOUR development and progression and I asked nothing. And all that time you lied to me and deceived me with the fact you couldn’t keep your legs closed, and then your men HERE like a bantha market? So, go on – what gave you the right to take my DNA to make into something of your own? Hm? It better be good."

Angry was such a clichéd word for how he felt; he couldn’t sum it up however.

[member="Nimue Stormson"] | [member="Jericho"] | [member="Joshua DragonsFlame"] | [member="Solan Charr"]

Nimue stood there to talk all of his wrath. She feared if [member="Asterion"] would hit her but was willing to take it. She only stood there and made sure no one would interrupt them as he practically shouted at her about how she lied to him. It was true. She had no real reason why she should have but, at the same time, had no right to. Her expression was more strong if dulled, not trying to argue anything against him. When he asked why she had her answer, which may have been as good as he wanted but it was the reason.
"Desperation. A naive mind. A broken heart that I feared could never be mended. And....love."

He refrained from mocking her with a laugh, he was beyond that. Instead he was just more bewildered by her answer.

"Desperation? Love? What were you desperate for? Filling a void that was taken away? That doesn’t make you god. And love? You don’t love anything but your own ego and the power you can get from everyone and everything else – I’ve seen that for myself."

He sidestepped and walked past Nimue.

"I’m outta here."

He let the balcondy rock in the breeze, as he aimed for the alternate door to take him from their dining / conference room.

[member="Nimue Stormson"]

As he called her egotistical and and all she lowered her head. He was right in a lot of senses to what he say, but he was wrong on others. As he walked off she only said "You're right. I did love my ego. It was what made me feel like a god. I am an Empress. I command thousands upon billions of lives. An entire planet bends it's knee to me....yet I am still human." She finally looked back to him and continued with "You can damn me. You can abandon me. You can do whatever makes you feel better....but what I did I did because I needed to. You have no idea what it's like...to lose a husband and a child. There were times I was ready to end my own life. Find the highest tower of this palace and jump....but I didn't. Because that wouldn't change anything. And whatever you do now won't change it either. Morgana is your daughter. Whether or not you're there for her is your choice, and yours alone."

Asterion kicked the wooden door open with the back of his boot as he turned to look across the room at Nimue standing on the balcony, the white planet framed behind her with the mountain ranges that housed a secret they had shared only recently. In happier times it seemed.

"Maybe you should have just jumped instead of ruining other lives along with your own. That kid isn’t my daughter – she’s a cut off. If I ever wanted to father a child I’d do it alone with a woman who I loved; not share them with others in some freak experiment to make you feel better."

He backed out of the door and started down the stone hall. He didn’t know where he was going because he had nowhere to go except the palace and Teth. The Effekt guards would take him there for sure, his face was known to many now around the grounds, but then what.

Asterion wiped a hand over his mouth and stubbled, contemplating the bombshell dropped. He had nothing, and thought he had found everything – but she had found him because of her dirty secret, nothing more. It all made sense now, and perhaps the Jedi in the palace was right about him.

[member="Nimue Stormson"]

Nimue watched [member="Asterion"] leave, fighting back tears. When he was gone she finally broke, covering her face and dropping to the seat on the balcony. Out of everyone she told she felt worse for him because of what she'd done. He had every right to be mad, but she wished he would've stayed at least. So much she wanted him to be a part of. So much of what could've been. It was so much to bare. Morgana would have three other fathers to connect with but Nimue feared she would lose the one who, above all others, needed her the most.

Coming to the side of the palace that led to the main stairwell, Asterion hated the size of the palace. He could go down to the entrance hall and out to the courtyard and the shuttles, he could carry on across the landing to the other side of the palace, or he could to up into the next storey and new maze of rooms and corridors.

Letting out a sigh, he looked back. Not to see if she was running after him, but for the fact he hated what was in the room and what it had made him. A gullible fool, thinking with the one thing that would destroy him – the heart. Leaving Teth was proving to be a bad choice, but the time with Nimue had greatly helped him.

It would be so easy to go back, to say sorry for something he shouldn’t have to, and work out the future, but this wasn’t a future he wanted. Not to find there was someone out there who bore his DNA and how much he had missed of her life, and also to share it with three other men; men who had not only shared DNA with the girl, but effectively shared the woman he had loved.

Had? Did?

Asterion cursed and turned on his heel, leaning against the stone wall beside a decorative flag of Effekt and rested his brow on the cool material, collecting his thoughts.

"Help me. What do I do."

As [member="Asterion"] seemed to ask no one in particular the winds seemed to grow a little colder. The flag of Effekt whipped a little until settling, but the cold air seemed to hang around the warrior now. And then, out of nowhere, a voice seemed to speak to him. A familiar voice of one he's met only once. You could go back and just deal with it you know. It was Reyax.
