A chance meeting

As Brook landed the Princess Angel She smiles but wonders why her father sent her here. He had told her she would figure it out when she was on the ground. Although she would only have one foot on the surface of Lothal because of her pink cast and crutches from about a month back when she broke it. She brought it down and shakily stood up grabbing her crutches she stands and disembarks her ship. When she walks out the weather is freezing but she walks into town looking for any sign of the thing her dad had talked about

Joza clenched the fabric of her cloak tighter, trying to draw the thin fabric closer to her body. Ugh, I should have brought something thicker. Who knew it was going to be this cold… Nevertheless, the young Zeltron trudged through the town, looking for a place to sit down and rest. As she moved through the streets, her eyes landed on a young red haired girl, probably only a few years younger than Joza herself. What struck Joza was that the girl appeared to be injured—a heavily wrapped injury to her leg—and alone.

The pink skinned woman paused for a moment, mulling over what to do. After a few moments she found herself moving forward, the situation playing on the empathetic tendencies of her race. Approaching the red head slowly, Joza began to release her pheromones in an attempt to create a soothing presence before clearing her throat. “Excuse me…are you alright?”

Joza frowned at the girl’s response, not liking the situation. “Are you here alone?” She made a conscious effort to use a gentle voice, not wanting to come off as insincere. “I’m Joza. Who are you?”

Joza arched a brow at seeing the girl smile, noting the look of pain in her eyes. With an inward sigh, she knew that before they continued this conversation any further, they should probably go indoors. “We should get out of the cold. Can you walk? There’s an inn on the other side of the road, not far from here.” She gestured to a generic looking building within their field of vision before glancing back at Brook’s injured leg, a line of worry creasing her brow.

“Joza.” She responds simply, carefully watching Brook as she moved. After a brief hesitation, the young Zeltron placed her hand on the girl’s back, supporting her as she moved. “Try not to put too much weight on your injured leg.” The pair moved slowly toward the inn.

Once they were inside, Joza helped Brook to a table in the front. At least now the girl could sit and be warm. Once they were settled, Joza turned toward the red head once more and resumed their conversation. “Brook, why are you here alone?”

Joza pursed her lips at Brook’s response, wondering what kind of father would let send his young, injured daughter to look for “something”. She remained silent for a few moments, a thread of disgust running through her at the thought of a father abandoning his own child, but she shook it from her system. It wasn’t her place to cast judgement, she hardly knew this girl or her situation. She was at a momentary loss for what to do.

“Are you hungry, Brook?” If nothing else, at least the girl would probably feel a little better if she were fed.

The pink skinned woman's brows knit in confusion and she crossed her arms over her chest. "And he allows you to travel, injured? Without telling your what you're supposed to be looking for?"

Sighing, Joza gave the girl a curt nod. It wasn't as if she had anything urgent to attend to, and the Zeltron wouldn't admit that she couldn't just walk away. "Should we go back to your ship? I can help you walk."
