A Beacon in the Storm

"It will be something different I'm sure. I have always been one to keep myself in solitude. So eating with more than one person or a nexu as company will take a bit to get used to."

Ra always finished her food and what she didn't eat, she gave to Ankhaara who was always hungry it seemed. She watched as Vulpesen went and put his coat on and stood up when she was done eating.

Letting out a laugh and smiling at him, she shook her head.

"Nah, that wouldn't hurt you since well, you can catch yourself."

"Zorren society revolves around the Vitae code, and thus we take Unity fairly seriously. We don't believe in eating alone, at least not when we're out of our homes." Having lived in this pack mentality for two years, Vulpesen now wondered just how Ra would fair once she found herself surrounded by a people who saw eating as more of an opportunity to socialize than to nourish themselves. "I mean that's true... but its still not fun." Various clicks sounded form Vulpesen as he put his sabers and daggers in place on his person, securing them into their spots.

"Ah I see. As I said, there is so much out there for me to learn."

Ever on a quest for knowledge, Ra knew she would never know everything. Each little bit helped though and it was such a big part of her life. She hoped he would accept that about her and help her learn.

Various clicks came from him and she raised a single eyebrow. It had once been said she carried quite a few weapons, but Ra had the feeling he had more.

Gathering up the breakfast items, she would smile slightly at his words. Her voice now held some humor as she had just finished laugh, so hopefully what she said would be taken as the joke she intended.

"Actually it might be fun, but that's the sith in me speaking. Not the one that is in control."

"And I'm more than happy to help teach you." He walked over to her, finally fully dressed and equipped for the day. As she joked with him, he grinned and leaned against her chair. "Oh, aren't you sweet. Keep in mind, I spend a lot of time in the stables and I know how most of our foxes act The calm trotting smooth rides, and the buckers are all known to me." Putting on crooked grin, he poked her side and started to the door. "So, shall we stretch our leg?"

"Well, thank you."

Standing up after gathering the items back onto the tray, she turned to face him. They shared that smile and she heard the unspoken threat in his joking words, but knew he was teasing with her as much she was him.

Moving away with the tray Ra would wait for him to join her.
