GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Unit Name:
    • 407th Legion
    • “The Penitence of Kalee”
    • “Reaper Legion”
  • Affiliation:
  • Classification: Stormtrooper Legion
  • Description: The 407th Legion has been designated as the primary stormtrooper Legion of Kalee, drawing from the host of the world nearly exclusively, besides the rarest of occasions. The Legion has been made after a specific cultural zeitgeist washed over the world of Kalee, a regret over the conflict with the New Imperial Order. Faith defines the Kaleesh, and when the Sovereign Imperator defied even their Living Gods and struck down Warlord Keessk it shifted their understanding of the New Order. No longer shunned, but welcomed as a vessel into the afterlife, Kalee’s foundational Legion has been based off of the ideal of penance for the stormtroopers slain on the field. The Crusade against the Sith now a much grander call to arms, and thus, Godhood itself.
  • Storm Armor Aesthetics: Traditional tribal markings are applied to helmets in dark greys, past that, the armor remains pure white. Skull faces are commonly imprinted, based off of the native masks of the Kaleesh.
COMBAT INFORMATION:

Strengths:
  • Slugthrower Specialists
  • Jungle Warfighters
  • Zealous Crusaders
  • Last Stand Standard
  • Trench Warriors
Weaknesses:
  • Tribal Divisions
  • Lack of Internal Armor Support
  • Young and Untested
  • Traitorous Reputation
  • Blaster-phobic
HISTORICAL INFORMATION

The original 407th Legion, then only a Division, was the dark mirror of the 908th during the time of the
Second Imperial Civil War. Keeping loyalties tied to the Sith Empire, the name of the Legion has been held in disdain by True Imperials ever since the conclusion of the SICW and the establishment of the Galactic Federation Triumvirate, though, that exact history has been lost due to the Gulag Plague and shifting tales and various lenses that history is viewed through. What is remembered of the 407th is a legacy of betrayal and regicide. A stain on the history of Imperialism.

When the call came for the tribes of Kalee to rally themselves to the New Imperial banner, the name of 407th was chosen rather quickly by then acting Legion Commander Xeilragh Graege, himself a descendant from Sith-Imperial loyalists. The name would be rebranded as a steelhearted shield for the New Imperial Order. A call to arms against the Sith and all that would stand in the way of Imperialism. A reconstitution of the Division into a Legion proper, attempting to prove that the stains of the Sith can be cleansed.

The Legion conscripts from Kalee nearly exclusively, and has taken great strides to create a method of warfare that fits well with the warriors. Many of the blaster tech that is common and ubiquitous throughout modern warfare has been swapped out for slugthrower equivalents, and tactics that encourage close, high risk combat have been made common. The crackle of their rifles sounding their approach as they storm across the field, bayonets fixed as shotgunners hop over enemy fortifications.

The Legion was raised months after the War of Kalee, and thus, is largely untested in true combat. Only being deployed during the waning years of the Outer Rim Conflicts...

Apologies for the delay, just a couple of things:

While the thoroughness of this section is wonderful, it needs to conform to the combat unit template (screenshot and link included).

Also the 'Emblem by Tavlar' portion, was there meant to be a link there?

Please include links for the Sith Empire and Galactic Federation Triumvirate as available for ease of access.
