OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Unit Name:
    • 293th Heavy Shock Infantry
  • Affiliation:
  • Classification:
    • Heavy Shock Infantry
  • Description:
    • The 293th Heavy Shock Infantry are the next generation of Heavy Infantry for the Imperial Empire. Coming from the Tundra World of Bal Talmshaa and starting out within the Planetary Defense Force called the Tundra Brigade which are then pumped filled with drugs and mutant formulas to make them more durable and stronger on the battlefield. They were designed and trained to be heavy hitters challenging the most powerful units on the battlefield from the Galactic Alliance and the Brotherhood of the Maw. Their unit symbol is two crossed heavy rotary on the imperial symbol. They work well with others within the Imperial Military but have more in common with the Imperial Stormtrooper Corps. They are more unnaturally loyal to their homeworld instead of the entire empire but will serve as long as the heavy front line for the Imperial Cause.
COMBAT INFORMATION: The combination of Unit Size and Availability below is the indicator of how numerous your unit is. Stormtroopers for instance would be considered Large/Common, while Rogue Squadron would be a Small/Unique unit. Majority Force User Units are prohibited from being Common or Large. The stronger and more specialized your unit is (FU or NFU), the smaller and less common it should be.
  • Unit Size:
    • Unique
  • Unit Availability:
    • Large
  • Unit Experience:
    • Veteran
  • Equipment:
  • Combat Function:
    • The 293th Heavy Shock Infantry are a specialized front fighting force for the Imperial Military and the Empire as a whole. Handpicked by the Moff of Bal Talmshaa from the Planetary Defense Force called the Tundra Brigade. The chance for better payment and the opportunity to leave the frozen planet made many within the Brigade try harder to be selected. Each individual that makes up the 293th Shock Infantry are unique and have different personalities that often conflict with each other. This can hinder operational effectiveness to some degree but their drug filled bodies enable them to get along with each other under the care of their imperial overseers. They work extremely well with both vehicle's and the Imperial Stormtrooper Corps as they have a wide variety of individual skill level that is trained to be effective in combined arms tactics.
  • Force Abilities (Force User Units Only):
    • None
Strengths:
  • Heavy Hitters designed to smash through enemy lines and supporting the Imperial Stormtrooper Corps on the battlefield
  • Individual Skill Levels allow for everyone to have a variety of skill sets for the battlefield
  • Training within very harsh environments allow them to operate within the elements.
Weaknesses:
  • Slower than normal due to Heavy Armor and lots of equipment
  • Infighting is more common than normal professional units due to each individual having a unique personality which hasn't been hammered or snuffed out with military dogma,
HISTORICAL INFORMATION

The 293th Heavy Shock Infantry were created directly after the death of Emperor Rurik Fel during the Shatterpoint Event on Tython. Formed from the need to have superior infantry to the Brotherhood of the Maw and the Galactic Alliance; the Moff of Bal Talmshaa Kanollic II Vethres was assigned by the Moff Council to form this new unit from his powerbase on Bal Talmshaa. Handpicked from the Planetary Defense Force called the Tundra Brigade from the best of the best within the force; they are then sent to an underground laboratory which are then pumped full of chemicals and drugs to make them superior fighters when compared to the Imperial Stormtrooper Corps. Placed underneath the Command of Aschwin Vethres of the Imperial Vethres Bloodline. They now serve as a powerful fighting force stationed on Bastion and Bal Talmshaa and are getting ready to engage with the Galactic Alliance as tensions brew into a cold war.

There are a few things we need to look at before this can be approved.

  • Because in English we say "third" instead of "threeth", the name of this submission should be "293rd Heavy Shock Infantry".

  • For specific units, I recommend submitting using the Army template in the Lore section instead of an NPC unit. Here's why: there is presumably only one "293rd Heavy Shock Infantry". There may be other Shock Infantry units, perhaps the 294th and 295th, but there are not multiple groups called "the 293rd". Therefore this submission should either have "Unique" availability (and probably "Large" size, if it's a full division) or should be an Army made up of Shock Trooper units.
    • For example: "Imperial Stormtroopers" would use the NPC Unit template, but the "501st Legion" would use the Army template, even though the Legion is made up of Imperial Stormtroopers.

  • You have listed a huge amount of equipment. Does every soldier in the 293rd carry five melee weapons, three heavy weapons, six blasters, and nine different kinds of grenades? It seems that would make it hard to walk. I would recommend listing only the standard equipment of the troopers; if you want there to be one heavy weapon per squad, or note that certain squad members carry certain weapons while others carry different ones, please make a note of that next to the equipment item. That way the readers don't picture a trooper buried under a pile of weapons taller than they are.

  • A huge amount of this equipment is Closed Market, which means you need explicit permission to use it. You link permission that says you can use marketplace purchases by Irveric Tavlar and Gat Tambor, but you don't link to those purchases. It is on the submitter, not the judge, to track down and link permission for all of these weapons to prove that you have permission to use each of them. Either link to posts or Discord messages providing permission, or remove the weapons.
    • All of the melee weapons
    • All of the heavy weapons
    • TSF-SBP/01 Heavy SmartBlaster™ Pistol
    • BAW-63 Heavy Rotary Blaster Cannon
    • IL-25X Sniper Rifle
    • KXR DK-60x 'Drago' Disruptor Carbine
    • KS-9 'Firestorm' Grenade
    • IL-62G Smart Grenade

  • I'm curious about the "infighting" that happens in this professional military unit - can you expand on that?

Fixed

I made the switch to Unique Availability with Large Size

I believe I have fixed this part to comply

Fixed. Let me know if you want me to expand more.
