VARIN MORTIFER
Equipment: Durum Mantle | Black Blade of Chandrila | Eye of The Dragon | Heavy Sith Mace | Cross Guard Broadsaber | Wyrmfang
Abregado-Rae burned, engulfed in the flames and the rising tide of disease that came from Sith might. Pain still radiated from his body, but an artist must always admire his own work.
His Dreadnaught clung to low orbit as it slowly drifted over the surface of the hellscaped planet. Some still survived. Many such cases with planetary destruction without outright blowing the planet away. These people will learn of pain and death, but they will gain strength from it.
The Mandalorians having abandoned the planet, fleeing with what survivors they could muster while the people on the surface would never forget how they gunned down their kin.
Varin had done what he promised, he had helped bring conquest to this planet and he brought them their ruin. What he was born to do. Why he was stitched together by the very currents of the force. This destruction made him only think of one thing.
It is time I came home.
The men and women that served him upon the deck of his ship stood with rapt attention as they marveled at the very power he had mustered to bring such a place to ruin, though he did not do it himself. The Sith Covenant and its servants were as much an important piece to this tapestry as he was, and Varin recognized that.
Flesh reavers attempted to attack his ship only to collide with the outer shields and obliterate their bodies. They would not get through.
The ship stopped before the border of the factories, a birds eye view of the mass destruction they had caused. Some survivors were still fighting, still clinging to their past world that lay dead at their feet. Families cradling their loved ones as they wept. Some stripped the mando corpses of Beskar and pilfered Sith tech from dead Sith. Some ran from the living fungal undead, infection already seeping into the water supply.
Varin’s gaze held on to the destruction beneath him.
We had done well, Varin.
Ignati’s voice rumbled within his head. Varin looked down at his exposed arm, the runes had grown more over the surface, wrapping around his forearm. The stinging pain still present.
His body was slowly changing, accommodating for the transformation that threatened to tear him apart. His fist slowly clenched in his hand.
Varin gaze pointed at the closest officer on board.
“Send a message to CC.”
The officer straightened his stance before speaking.
“What shall I say?”
Varin paused as he walked back to his throne upon his ship.
“Home is next.”
