The feed flickered to life, broadcasted from various locations in order to allow for all across the galaxy to be able to tune into it as there was no central hub or station which they possessed which could perform such a task. At first it was merely the typical programs and messages that comprised the Xinklas, sermons and testimonies of the faithful to whoever had the patience and willingness to listen to them. Yet all at once the usual feed would be interrupted and replaced by the image of a dark room, featuring a sole hooded individual sat at a desk that was otherwise unremarkable.
"Greetings, denizens of the Galaxy."
Darth Strosius sat forwards, His gloved fingers clasped together on the tabletop as His mask came into view. "For those of you that do not know me, I am Darth Strosius. Prophet of the Order of Wonosa." Behind Him the sigil of their Order flashed into existence and bathed His robed form with a crimson glow. "As you may or may not have heard, Hutt space has recently been assaulted by our forces. First we began at Orondia where we were able to throw off the shackles of the criminals and liberate the world for its people. Our first victory in this campaign and the one that allowed us to gain a foothold against the Hutt Cartels."
Around Him images and recordings began to appear, showcasing fighting between what must have been Wonosan forces and criminal elements. "Our next strike was at Sleheyron, to break the slavers and free our imprisoned siblings from their unjust lives of service. As we have been doing for some time now, bringing an end to those that would exploit and collar the people of the Outer Rim. Yet the Hutts and their hired hands weren't the only resistance that we faced at Sleheyron, and this is why I have chosen to address you all this day. To show you the truth and not the tainted lies that many will spout of our efforts."
The recordings shifted to displaying scenes of far more equal conflict, where instead of engaging simple thugs and mercenaries the soldiers of Wonosa were combatting Stormtroopers. Others even showed shots of green and blue lightsabers amidst the crowds, fighting against the recorders and deflecting bolts right back at them. "Forces under the banner of the so-called Mahporeem Imperial Remnant and several Jedi arrived to disrupt our efforts. We sought only to bring death to the practitioners of slavery and liberation to their victims yet our forces were halted in their tracks. Even now Sleheyron is still contested ground, what was meant to be another triumph for the Outer Rim has devolved into a bloody stalemate between ourselves, the Hutts, and the Mahporeem Imperials."
There was simply no hiding the disdain and disgust in His tone, yet it did soften slightly as the recordings and images flickered out one by one. "In spite of these difficulties though, we were still able to rescue well over half a million enslaved victims of the Hutts. Their chains have been broken and now they will return to their families or find new ones within our ranks. But we could have saved them all were it not for this interruption." Around Him the newly blank space was soon replaced by images of Dromund Kaas' abysmal oppression that had been leaked during the battle, His fervor rising to a new crescendo as He continued. "Additionally during the fighting there was a transmission sent out displaying the horrors conducted and perpetrated by the vile Kainate, with the outlandish and insulting accusation that we are in any way complicit in these atrocities. Allow me to be the first to tell you, we are not."
The images of horror were replaced by brief recordings of Darth Strosius Himself attacking Carnifex and Prazutis, some were decades old when the Sith Order itself was in a period of strife but they sent the message all the same. "Let it be known here and now that all actions and sins committed by the Zambrano dynasty and their puppets are not only unsupported by our Order but are indeed actively worked against by us. We have struggled to meet the Kainites in the field due to inferior numbers and resources yet at our own detriment we have nevertheless sought to blunt their violations against not only the wider galaxy but against civilization itself. Regardless of what you may think you know, this is the truth."
The recordings were dismissed as He leaned forwards once again. "You have let your fear of the tyrants blind you to our good work. You have allowed your disdain for the Sith to creep into a total and absolute hatred of us all. Our beliefs are no less genuine than any of yours simply because of the horrendous actions of a few of our number that only pay lip service to our culture and religion. We will not be held accountable for the sins of our enemies, even if you cannot tell the difference between us! The Order of Wonosa strives to see a galaxy where slavery is extinct and we make no exceptions in our war for liberation. That is what the Mahporeem Imperials and these Jedi have stood against."
The masked Sith Lord sighed and sat back in His seat, the fire and brimstone cooling from His words as He spoke again. "We welcome any and all aid in our efforts against the Hutt Cartels and indeed against criminals in the galaxy at large, all who wish to see the Outer Rim strong and unoppressed should endeavor to support us in any way that you can. For those of you that have stood against us thus far, believing us to be mere petty tyrants and chainers of a different sort, I hope that this message has given you enough pause to see the folly in your actions. You are free to make amends by withdrawing and leaving us be, or to perform penance for your sins by joining in our struggle. But, for those of you that still wish to oppose our fight..."
Within His dark visor two yellow orbs ignited, the hateful stare of the Prophet of Bogan. "The people of the Outer Rim will not soon forget those that have worked to keep them bound. Consider this your final warning, do not delay the liberation of Hutt space any longer and do not waste your lives and efforts for the sake of the enslavement of our people. We will no longer kneel. We will no longer cower. We will no longer be exploited. The Core has been broken and soon so too shall the Hutts, and then we will be free. This is the promise of the Force, this is the vow of Wonosa. May the Force bless you all, and have a wonderful day."
The transmission ended and the Xinklas feed retreated with it, the hijacked stations either being sabotaged or simply stolen now that their task had been fulfilled and the agents of Wonosa needed to ensure that no trails were left behind. Yet the message itself remained within the wider Holonet, free to be watched at any time for those that wished to see it. And while the message circulated, the fleets and army of Darth Strosius began to move. Sleheyron was a battleground now but they could hardly afford to station the forces necessary to seize the planet entirely. Instead they turned their gaze to the rest of Hutt space and began plotting their next move.
