Orondia was a desolate and unremarkable world.

Its position within Hutt Space didn't lend it any real traffic or trade of note, largely serving as a wayward waystation for smugglers that had too few credits for the more flashy worlds such as Nar Shaddaa. A backwater even among the crime infested worlds that lined the rest of the sector. Which made it perfect, in a sense, for a foothold.

The stirrings had began over the past few days, rumors of cargo vanishing or gangs being silenced suddenly. At first the locals likely assumed that it was simply a matter of disagreements spiraling into some hidden conflict, nothing to be concerned with and certainly nothing out of the ordinary. Tones began to shift however when a slaver's ship full of recently captured cargo mysteriously crashed out in the wastes and not a single body or any sort of gear nor equipment were found amidst the wreckage.

Paranoia began to creep into the more clever and connected of individuals when entire patrols of various gangs began disappearing around outlying stations and settlements. Many simply left, either out of fear for whatever was now hunting on Orondia or simply due to the recent activity being too much of an inconvenience to their business. For those that couldn't or wouldn't make it off-world however, they would bear witness to what was to come. Heralded by every channel and signal to the wider galaxy either fizzling into static or being overridden and flooded with comms traffic of sermons, one last moment of confusion before the streets began to burn.

Predominant gang hideouts were filled with the sound of blaster fire or were blown apart entirely by hidden explosives, the more organized criminals and groups found themselves backed into their strongholds by a seemingly endless tide of unruly masses supported by dozens of battle droids. In spite of the pleas and threats sent their way the few smugglers with ships still planetside didn't heed the demands for passage off Orondia, either barricading themselves from the action or outright gunning down the gangsters that approached them themselves.

The Battle for Orondia lasted but three days when it spilled out into the open, but it was one that had been waged in the shadows and back alleys for weeks beforehand. Weeks of eliminating anyone capable of sending out a warning or call for aid to the rest of Hutt Space, weeks of putting down the more dangerous gangsters to take their stockpiles, weeks of swaying the locals into a riotous frenzy, weeks that had all paid off now as banners of the Order of Wonosa began to be raised all across the world from the blaster-hold ridden walls of hideouts and defensive buildings as well as the few proper spaceports.

The Breakers of Chains had come to Hutt Space.
