It's been a while.
A lot has happened since I last picked up this journal, I'll be honest I haven't stopped. I've traveled Silver Jedi space to continue to grow my abilities in the force, and I'm at a point where I'm actually confident enough to use some of the powers day to day. I've continued to grow as a person, as a Jedi and as a force user and I have to say, I'm proud of how my skills have come along and grown since I started.
I've also met some amazing people. I'll list all of these below.
Damian Starchaser - Damian was one of the first few friends I made in the Silver Jedi. He's also the one who helped me understand one of my most interesting abilities. Ever since I was a child, I've been able to touch things, including people, and see their backstories through the force. Damian Starchaser is the man who helped me understand the ability which allowed me to do this, which granted me this power.
I've heard the name Starchaser thrown around the academy a lot, I'm happy my first encounter with a Starchaser was Damian. He's like the cool uncle of The Silver Jedi Order. In a way, he's very much served as my father figure in the Silver Jedi. No-one could ever truly replace my father, but Damian had very much become one of the few people I trust within this Order, he's certainly one of the most down to earth.
Kyra Perl - Kyra is... odd. She's a lovely girl, attractive and funny. She's also strange, pays very little attention and seems to live in her own head. She's kind enough, always a joy to be around but never quite with it. I did mean to reach out to her, try and make a connection, then Yurb happened. I'll go into Yurb later. I have no idea what happened to Kyra, I'll try and reach out and see if she was involved in the battle or not.
Laertia Io - Master Laertia is a teacher, she helped teach me a Force skill that I think I'll be using a lot. She certainly seems nice enough, very polite. She's a good teacher, someone I'm sure I'll end up spending more time around. She has this odd sort of lisp, something that makes it hard to understand her. I tried, for her sake and too be respectful and I think I did a good job, but it was certainly difficult.
Ilias Nytrau - Master Nytrau is amazing. He's incredible. He's so polite, such a good healer and he saved the life of one of my best friends. I have so much respect for this Jedi Master and while we haven't spent much time together, I truly hope our paths cross again. I hope whatever Master Nytrau goes on to do, he enjoys it because he deserves it. He is one of the nicest people I've ever had the privilege of meeting.
Okkeus Dainlei - Master Dainlei, Okkeus. He's my one, true friend in The Silver Jedi Order. We met on Takodana and since then we've been pretty much inseparable. Where there's one, there's the other. He's very much like an older brother to me in many ways, not really much older or much wiser, but good fun to be around. Where as I'm much more the talker, he's much more the fighter and I seem to think that's a great dynamic.
I've been waiting for Okkeus to ask me to be his Padawan for so long, and yet he hasn't. I'll never be sure why, perhaps he's too unsure of his own abilities to teach, perhaps he's too uncertain of my ability. Perhaps he's just scared to take on a Padawan and form that bond. Perhaps he just doesn't think he's old enough. It could be anything, but all I know is that he hasn't asked me. He might well have his eyes on another. Just who knows.
Anyway, Yurb!
Yurb was... recent. I never fought in the battle personally, but I heard the screams in the force. I heard every single scream. The reports from the battle say it was hard fought, and I spent time in the hospitals afterwards and got to see the chaos first hand. Battle shouldn't exist, not to the point it leaves that many casualties. I hate fighting, don't see the point in it. I'd rather talk and negotiate peace rather than come to blows.
And now, I'm late for class. Master Dainlei is gonna kill me.
