Formos
Formos Dresuoti, in the Undercroft of the Formos Cathedral

---------------------------------------------------------

Exarch Salneva Limont bowed her head as she was let in to the most sacred room of the Formos Cathedral, the Undercroft's final room and the location of their High Priest's blessed workshop. She nodded in thanks to the Sith Priest whom had let her in, the robed Sith then lowering the stone door behind her as they went to go check over some readings. The handful of other priests littering the room were doing similar things to prepare as well. Preparing for their lord's awakening from his deep meditation.

The modified Sith Oubliette at the center of the room was the main focus for all present even as they worked on their chores and tasks to prepare for its opening, their High Priest lying in wait within. Every few months Darth Strosius would inter himself into the Oubliette for a week, allowing him to have plenty of time to try and connect with the Dark Side without worrying about time or needing to feed. No distraction, just his mind and the Force for an entire week without disturbance. Now that a week had passed however it was time to rouse their High Priest and return him to the waking world once more, as per his instructions.

After a few more minutes of preparation Salneva gave one of the priests a nod, the cultist then moving to start the awakening process. First the life support and other auxiliary systems that had kept the masked man fed and cared for would be switched off alongside the main Oubliette's features, causing the previously unconscious Sith to stir slightly. Then the tubes that had been supplying the nutrients and the like, as well as a healthy amount of blood of course, would retract from his body as the lid's locks began to open with pressurized hisses.

Salneva and the other priests would drop to their knees and bow their heads in reverence as the Oubliette's lid began to open once the hissing had stopped, just barely able to watch as a gloved hand clasped the edge of the now open Oubliette. Darth Strosius pulled himself up into a sitting position, still clad head to toe in his lighter robes and simple attire. It almost reminded Salneva of his outfit that he wore when he was an Acolyte. His heavier robes that he adorned himself with these days were being held by one of the priests, clean and prepared to be donned by the masked man whenever he was ready.

Darth Strosius spared a moment to press a hand against his mask, more than likely shaking off some dizziness or fatigue that clouded his mind and senses from his slumber. He then pulled himself out of the Oubliette and stood up, his briefly shaking before the momentary weakness was hidden by a stalwart yet stiff stance. Salneva still caught it though, even if the priests around her did not. A series of quiet pops could be heard in the silent room as the masked man stretched and shook off his limbs in order to rid himself of the lingering strain and stillness from laying still for a week.

With one more deep inhale, he finally addressed his priests and the Exarch. "I did not succeed in my attempts to commune with the Force..." His voice was low and scratchy from its lack of use but after clearing his throat and rolling his shoulders he continued on. "However, I did gain an...insight." The masked man gestured for the priest holding his heavier robes to approach, taking a moment to retrieve the robes and slip into them. "Our movements in the Outer Rim have not quite borne the fruit that we initially intended, but these setbacks have only strengthened our resolve." Success had been limited and the notion that the Outer Rim was ripe for taking was fading quickly, but the Sith Lord was undeterred.

There was still far too much to do and now he knew exactly how to go about it. The Outer Rim would still fall into the hands of the Sith.

"It has proven that our struggle for the Outer Rim's soul is indeed a just and worthy one. For while I was not granted a proper chance to commune with the Force, I was granted some realizations that will ensure our efforts succeed. Revelations, if you will." Suddenly Darth Stroisus began to march forward, striding past the kneeling priests and heading to the stone door that kept the room sealed from the rest of the Cathedral. With an effortless wave of his hand the door raised up, causing the surprised priests to hurry after their lord. Usually he wouldn't leave the confines of the Undercroft for a good few hours to give his body time to properly readjust to moving around and being active once more. At the moment though he seemed to be pushing through any lingering fatigue or stiffness in his limbs, his stride determined and purposeful.

"We have stretched ourselves too thin to be able to make any reasonable progress, our ambitions and needs outweighing our capabilities. This issue will need to be resolved. We will need to grow our forces." A few of the priests shared quick glances of confusion at the declaration, but only the Exarch spoke up to question him. "Is that not one of the main goals of our efforts already High Priest? To expand our reach and forces?" The masked man stopped in his tracks, now right before the hidden door that led from the Undercroft to the rest of the Cathedral, and turned his head back to regard the priests trailing behind him.

"We have been making usage of the same conventional yet gradual means that we have been employing for many long years now. While they are the best in the long term and we will continue to use them, we need more direct methods in order to ensure our plans in the Outer Rim come to fruition." With a wave of his hand the hidden door slid open yet his gaze remained upon the priests and the Exarch. "I have seen the means by which we can amass greater numbers and weapons of war. The Force has provided me with this, a reward for our strife and a path to victory. A path where will we break the chains of the Outer Rim and establish Sith rule across it once more, as it should be."

His head inclined, the dim light catching his mask's visor in a glare that made some of the priests wince and squint. "The Dark Side shall embrace the Outer Rim. For the Force itself has declared it so."
