Villains and true evil are never born, they all come about because of circumstance. The monster under the bed is born from nature. As much as we want to say someone or something is just born that way we know we made the evil in this world. Everyone and everything had the chance to prove it was good to this world and to existence. Yet we showed it cruelty and or complete indifference to its plight in turned we made it a monster and evil it became. Sometimes our rejection and ambivalence is justified when it come to it's need to harm innocents or the weak to survive. The answer to situations isn't black and white there are always shades of grey to it all.
If could time travel all the evils that have plagued the reality are never as simple as asking if something is good or evil. You cannot destroy the past destroying every outcome you perceive as evil and think good will come from it. Because simply evil acts can lead to the betterment of society as whole because we learn from the past mistakes. That is exactly why those who do not learn from the past are doomed to fail. Evil needs to exist for good to persist it is the only thing that allows for change.
