Across the Galaxy
900 ABY
After the fall of the Maw, the Warlords, the old Sith Empire, and every minor Sith aligned malignancy - there was only one that remained. The Order under Empyrean stood as tall as the Dark Side could in these trying times, but there was a nagging reminder of what could come. Paranoia, above all things, struck deep into the mind of a Sith Lord; and it would spread its black tendrils across the galaxy over years as Sith were logged, tracked, and monitored. When the Dark Lord Darth Empyrean knew the Sith were yet splintered, but there was only two ways to fix such a situation.
Accommodate, placate, and watch as they destroyed the foundations of a new Empire - or burn them from their hideouts so that another may never form. Calling upon Gerwald Lechner , the Emperor's Wraith, and the overbearing sight of the Tsis'kaar under Darth Ophidia , Empyrean enacted the Blackout Protocol. In the span of a week, thousands of assassins, hunters, and Sith were deployed to kill every Sith that had not returned under his gracious offering of peace.
It was a devilish, efficient slaughter that saw everything from the retired and distant to the established monarchs of worlds killed. None could escape, hunted deep into the furthest reaches of space until none but the Sith Order remained to represent the Sith. Former allies, former enemies, and everything in-between had their lightsabers or fingers taken back to Jutrand for their bounty paid; but it was carried out by Empyrean's own loyal forces.
So that the Order may never splinter again, so that none could rise to claim they were the great inheritor of the schism that consumed the Order - death abound in a thousand directions. A promise written in blood, and a reminder that those who escaped his bloody slaughter hide deep and further from his immense gaze.
OOC:

Just a little political intrigue that makes sense for the Sith. If you're a dark sider / Sith outside of the SO feel free to respond to this action as you see fit (tag me, I'd like to read it). Otherwise its just a move against npcs and to set up a general feel for rule of Empyrean for the Sith across the galaxy - brutal, dangerous, and outright violent.
