  • The grips on the swords are designed and made with Force Alchemy, making them much more resistant to attacks.
  • The interesting thing about the sword is that it has no blades, it is made with special Valkyrja technology, which makes it only used by Force users. As with a Forcesaber, the user must be channelling Force into the sword. In this case, a different coloured blade will appear. If the sword cuts someone in this case, it will not cause physical injury. In this case, the sword affects the soul, not the flesh. NB: In each case, this ability depends on the "wounded" PC / NPC's decision as to whether the effect affected them, and if so, how strongly.
    • This ability affects the soul and can only cause mental pain. This function / ability exists mostly because the Valkyrja lives in the Netherworld and the demons and most of the creatures who live there are also souls.
    • The effect senses the person's guilt, self-branding, and sins (which the PC / NPC hold as a sin in themselves). The sword amplifies these pains, hoping to paralyze the opponent with it or make them flee.
    • On a balanced person will certainly have no effect, but the swords can push others into a shocked, catatonic state, those who have large guilt and have many sins. NB: Only the PC/NPC can decide about the effect.
    • In a place where there is no Force or the effect of the Force is weakened, the blade simply passes imperceptibly through the target, it will feel nothing of it and will have no effect. The blade cannot take physical form.
    • With this ability the weapons can't cause deadly injuries or physical injuries, just mental wounds.

  • Non Lethal: The sword cannot cause lethal injury to anyone, only mental pain. This makes it perfect for self-defence or a perfect choice for those who certainly don't want to kill anyone, even by accident.
  • Inquisition: Needless to deny, but the weapon is perfect especially for Light side and Neutral Force users. After all, it is mainly the followers of the Dark side and Bogan who live in sin or do not have a stable inscape, so this can be a perfect weapon against them.
  • Intangible Creatures: The sword is also perfectly capable of influencing intangible, immaterial souls, demons, and other such beings. Maybe even more than to the living beings.

  • Non Lethal: The sword cannot cause lethal injury to anyone, only mental pain.
  • Sin and Guilt: The effect senses the person's guilt, self-branding, and sins (which the PC / NPC hold as a sin in themselves), however, if the victim does not feel their act is a sin, then in vain they killed someone, the sword is ineffective.
  • Breaking the Effect: The weapon is mainly for self-defence and for someone to have a chance to escape or persuade someone to return to the Light Side. If someone wants to hurt anyone who is under the influence of the sword, the mental pain will be broken immediately and the malicious intent will be felt by the owner of the sword as a sin, i.e. the weapon can cause them pain as well, thus preventing anyone from being killed under the sword's influence, or abused the weapon.
  • Force Users Only: The sword requires Force to use, so non-Force users will not be able to use the weapon.
  • Force Nullification: In a place where there is no Force or the effect of the Force is weakened, swords lose their ability and it is only a grip/hilt.
  • Ghost Blade: The blade cannot cause any physical damage, not only to living things, but also to objects, electrical networks, and nothing else.

In the Netherworld, wars almost always take place against demons, who are souls. This is why Eina first made a weapon that is especially effective against demons and souls. Later, the Valkyrja used the same method to make Sverð Sálarinnar. The weapons were not primarily made for themselves, but for others to defend themselves against those who want to harm them.

Because Valkyrja respects life and dead souls, that is why Sverð Sálarinnar is a weapon that cannot be used to kill anyone. It simply has no physical effect on anything, it can really only be used against souls, demons and intangible creatures. Thus, it is very limited in its mode of use.

The sword grip itself is independent of the Force, but during its manufacture it was designed to have such a specific and unique effect under the influence of Force channelling. The weapon does not contain any electronics or crystals; quite an archaic design. Weapons are designed so that they cannot be abused if someone is under their influence.

While all Force Users can use them, the weapon is more ideal for Neutral or Light Side Force Users. After all, they can use this to save others from the Dark Side, or Bogan’s influence. Especially if they want to torture someone to repent of their actions and return to the Light Side. Perfect because they can't kill you. And the pain caused by the weapon is usually the well-known painful guilt.

Last but not least, beings with innocent and stable souls, living beings, the sword cause no effect. The big downside to the weapon, however, is that it only responds to guilt, self-branding, and sins that the victim thinks or experiences as a sin. If someone has no conscience (e.g., psychopath, sociopath), or for them their actions are not a sin, the weapon is ineffective.

Not least, the weapons are also available to individual buyers through the HPI Consortium's marketplace.
