Higher denominations while based on Kelpcotton and Romex blends, include a higher polymer blend and are slightly thicker than lower denomination bills.

DESCRIPTION

As the Commonwealth arose the first order of business was to change how the currency was backed. No longer would the Sovereigns be a commodity based currency but it would be a fiat based currency. This gave the Commonwealth government more flexibility for monetary policy and allowed them to better respond to economic fluctuations and challenges.

The process of moving from the commodity-based Sovereigns to a fiat-based Sovereign occurred during a period of transition in the late 870s, and into the early 880s, and by mid 884 ABY all commodity-based currency had been phased out of the economy. The period had been done with careful, and extensive planning and coordination among all of the Commonwealth's member worlds to ensure a smooth transition, minimizing disruptions to the economy.

Since its introduction, the Commonwealth currency has demonstrated stability and resilience. The government's commitment to sound economic policies, coupled with the strong leadership of individuals like Kelora Priestly, has helped to instill confidence in the currency and maintain its value. The stability of the currency has contributed to the overall economic growth and prosperity of the Dosuunian Commonwealth.

Kelora Priestly's accession to the throne in 890 ABY further strengthened the stability of the Commonwealth currency. Her leadership and vision for the Commonwealth have inspired confidence among investors and businesses, leading to increased investment and economic development. Under her guidance, the Dosuunian economy has continued to thrive, further solidifying the position of the Commonwealth currency as a stable and reliable medium of exchange.

In 901 ABY, the Commonwealth rolled out new bills and coins as part of a comprehensive program to modernize its currency and align it with contemporary Commonwealth elements. This initiative not only reflects the Commonwealth's commitment to innovation and progress but also serves to reinforce the stability and credibility of its currency in the eyes of both domestic and international stakeholders.
