Intent: Armour to protect the Jedi that is Zaren Bouqi in close quarters combat against a variety of opponents, whether they be Sith Lords or Bounty Hunters. Zaren believes the armour would better prepare him for the war that he had found the Galaxy in, and to protect him after his attempts at foiling the New Order's Conquest of Telos IV had failed once he had encountered a Master and Apprentice.

Description: Current Jedi Knight of the Galactic Republic, Zaren Bouqi had made attempts to slow the inevitable conquest of the planet of Telos IV from the New Order Sith Organization, and once he had encountered a squad of Imperial Stormtroopers, and a Master and Apprentice Sith duo, and nearly losing his life when he had tried to make his escape, he had decided that the best armour that he could gets his hands on would be phrik, within Republic Space before he lost the chance. It would also be able to better designate who he was, based off of the designs he plans to put upon the armour.
A few strengths of the armour would be the hardness of Phrik, and the relative lightweight that it had overall, so his movement wouldn't be horribly impacted when he was utilizing the ability Force speed, and the fact that it would be able to block a solid strike with a lightsaber and concentrated blaster bolts for a few moments before he must flee.
Weaknesses that would impede the user of the armour is the additional weight of the Phrik armour, concentrated firepower upon a section of the power would heat it up, and melt the user quite quickly in a few seconds.
