In that cave, Braze taught her how to spread out her senses to see if she could resonate with another crystal much like she had briefly with Aris Noble 's own, but this time, one for herself. A particular kyber crystal called to her, humming and radiating in such a pretty beautiful aura and a medley of prismatic colors, much like her own skin-shifting abilities.

As Zaiya didn't know how to build a lightsaber or what else to do with it, she decided to do what she did best, and polish the crystal to be set into a pretty haircomb. The only thing was, that Zaiya wanted it to be able to change its appearance to whatever she wore so it would match. So much like the earpiece she made for Aris, she used Laminanium nanoparticles that were coated with the polished silver look of ultrachrome, which would allow the hair comb to shift and self-mold itself into different designs with the kyber crystal in place.

It could be turned into a pretty hair stick, hair comb, or even a pretty necklace or bracelet with polished kyber crystal at its center. The Kyber crystal itself was attuned to Zaiya, allowing her to enhance and reach out her senses and emotive resonances within the Force as a focus and increased strength and power.
