OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
PHYSICAL INFORMATION
  • Age: Late Twenties
  • Force Sensitivity: Knight
  • Species: Kiffar
  • Appearance: Lean of build and average of height, with traditional Kiffar tattoos (qukuuf), in her case gently spiralling black geometric patterns on her upper cheeks and across the nose. Generally favours full-body covering attires made of fairly resilient materials like Spacers Leather and Gildenweave, at least partially due to the at-times risky nature of alchemical metallurgy. Often seen in high-tech goggles or visors.
SOCIAL INFORMATION
  • Name: Zahra Teph
  • Loyalties: Greystone Mercantile
  • Wealth: Richly compensated by Greystone; various tangible and intangible financial assets.
  • Notable Possessions: Various alchemical creations, notably an ornate Sith Sword that has yet to see combat.
  • Skills: Skillful material Alchemist and engineer, an aptitude enhanced by Mechu-Deru. Natural talent for Psychometry, but only for objects, not creatures. Decent at Force Concealment and basic Force Abilities. Mediocre with the lightsaber, but pretty good with a blaster.
  • Personality: Self-confident, unflappable, and unapologetically self-centred. Approaches most problems from an engineer's perspective, often treats people as little more than cogs or objects. Generally quite straightforward and unchained by taboos or politeness.
COMBAT INFORMATION
  • Weapon of Choice: X8 Gambit Elite Disruptor Pistol, her wits, and the Force - primarily stealth and Mechu-Deru.
  • Combat Function: Preferring to keep well clear of combat, Teph is likely to be protected by Silent Knights or battle droids; should these fall or her hand be forced by circumstance, she might prove to be a moderately effective combatant, potentially very effective against battle droids or cyborgs owing to her aptitude for Mechu-Deru. If shooting the enemy while they posture is possible, she will do so.
STRENGTHS
  • Master Artificer: Teph is highly experienced in all manner of mechanical engineering and material Alchemy.
  • Combat Pragmatist: While not a particularly impressive fighter, Teph is quite willing to fight dirty.
WEAKNESSES
  • Lover, Not a Fighter: Considered a Sith Knight though she may be, Teph is far from a combat specialist.
  • The Flesh is Weak: Teph has only a minimal aptitude for biological alchemy, which she claims is a choice. It isn't.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Ripped from a now only vaguely-remembered family by the One Sith in her earliest years, Teph was still a child when Coruscant was lost to the Sith; in the chaotic months and years that followed, she was thrust from group to group, eventually finding a more stable "home" with a fringe group of Sith as the One Sith lay in their death throes. Rather than violently resist like some or flee to the Tingel Arm like others, they simply existed.

Eventually, this grouping too would collapse in a flurry of infighting, but not before imparting valuable years of knowledge and the awareness that the Galaxy was a fundamentally selfish place. One where the strong prospered and the weak were crushed under their heels.

Over the next decade, she travelled widely, learning from success and failure alike. Disillusioned with her fellow Sith, she stayed well-clear of the rising Sith Empire and others like them, considering dreams of galactic conquest utter folly. Eventually, she would run afoul of CorpSec during a stint in the Corporate Authorities of Denon; imprisoned in a distant site purpose-built to contain Force Users like her, the future seemed grim...

... until a Shade came whispering of certain opportunities, opportunities realised soon after with the assistance of a certain Shadow.
