STRENGTHS

• Laminanium: Designed like a Quellian ship the hull of the orbital platforms has a thin layer of the material to improve repairs and over time depending on the amount of damage it is able to patch itself up.
• Shatter: While the blade is designed with a heavy level of technical gadgetry. There is the visible effect it gives off. Able to appear super cooled and like a blade mad of ice. It can cleave through materials with the technology used in the blade of sorrow that comes with it. Giving the effect of shattering and breaking other blades as it is built using the same materials and technology as the smaller blades of sorrow the sword it set up and designed to match its powerful levels of cutting power. Giving the blade the potential to cut through beskar, hijarna stone, wintriium and the rare vonduun crab.

WEAKNESSES

• Built in power source: Designed with its own internal power source that is long lasting but it is largely able to power the armor and systems of the vehicle but when damaged it is highly explosive.
• Electrical Energy: Neither the blade or the casing are able to absorb energy instead channeling it into the blade and overloading it. Overloading the ultrasonic generator in its casing within the hilt can cause the weapon to blow up in the users hand.
• Technology is vulnerable to EMP/on weapons: As the primary cutting power is generated from the ultrasonic generator that cuts at such a microscopic level. The technical aspects of the blade require power. Without it the blade is a lightsaber resistant blade with a super cooled edge and blood stone sheen.
• The force enhancing properties of the blade require a connection to the force to be maintained. Without it the blade reverts to an nnth metal blade.
• Sound: The ultrasonic generator is notable as with many sonic weapons and ordinance. Creatures that have sensitive hearing like canine species, Bith and others can suffer ill effects at the frequencies emitted. Making it a risk to use around them were you could end up with dangerous results.
• Self Repairing: Built with a protective layer to patch the vehicle in the event of damage. The time table is dependent upon the amount of damage with smaller tears being easier and faster to repair then gashes which can take hours to reform.
  • Note: Only the layer can repair not the full plate armor itself the plating can be damaged still but the underlayer of Laminanium can reform and remain.

DESCRIPTION
Designed by the forgemasters at Sasori and its subsidiaries for Katagiri to some specifications. The sword is a heavily designed and worked on tech blade that uses an ultrasonic vibration generator to give the super cooled ostrine edge advanced cutting capabilities. The blade itself is silver and coated with a small layer of blood diamonds that makes it painful to the touch by flesh. As a means to turn smaller cuts that are not using the vibration generator into something debilitating with less of a chance to get into the blood stream.

The super cooling stopping the blood from getting poisoned. The other thing that is there and built into it is a secondary attack of the weapon, a sprayer to coat it in cryoban gas that super cools it and makes any slices it causes to stop blooding for wounds. It also has one of the main drawbacks of the blade when it can splash back into the hands, arms and face or even the chest of the one wielding it requiring awareness and control as well as to wear the proper attire for using the blade. The primary danger from the blade with the electrical energy striking and making the casing detonate is present as the generator is very sensitive.

The enhanced wintrium of the synth mesh also makes the blade very powerful. With it easily able to protect from lightsabers that are used against it and gaining strength as well as additional weight the more it ages. Even being the super lightweight material, it can be heavy in the hilt and components. Requiring training. The lack of weight in the blade itself makes its initial purpose as a blade that is able to be used. The lightsided nature of the synth mesh weaved and used makes the blade something darksiders can't hold for long periods of time as it makes the general stomach turning the feeling of unease and sickness. (however, another PC chooses to do it) persist when it is held or trying to be used.

With more work as Katagiri took it back to testing, they defined it working to understand the need. But the lady had just shrugged requesting aid from the likes of Kat a friend of Junko who could help test and Kami who was helpful in developing and testing out some of the other versions of the blade that were being worked on. More work on her end than on here but as she worked out the blade and used the time to lay out the equipment and technology. The ultrasonic generator being common enough that she would be able to share the information with others. The rest of the work going in to learn how she could over some of the downsides of using the blade as anyone would do.

Katagiri has changed the blade.. reworked it and forged it into something exceptionally powerful as compared to the sword that was hilt heavy and not nearly as able to be wielded easily.. the spear is a force blade few can match. The spear itself emits the cryoban and with the force she can resist it when she touches it. SHe worked to use the latest in technology to improve its cutting capability at the blade and its ability to produce temperatures well before sun-freezing on par with the omega frost for damaging flesh and metal. The jedi mastrer who is normally a reclusive master keeps it near her person in case it is needed.

After looking over it, this sword is almost an exact replica of this sub, only with added strengths and no new weaknesses to balance it out (considering most people would wear armor anyway, I'm afraid I can't see how needing to wear gloves could really be considered a weakness). As dev on the blade of sorrow sub won't count towards this unless you salvage it, this has less than half the development the blade did, which won't suffice for making a stronger weapon.

If you want to get this approved, I would suggest you do one of the following:

• archive the Blades of Sorrow submission so it is no longer useable, and use its dev towards Yuka-Onna.
• add a number of viable weaknesses to balance out the added strength.
• add significantly more dev.

Limited Range

Length: 1.5m

1.5m is a little longer than the average sword; while it wouldn't have an exceptionally long range, it certainly wouldn't be limited either. A weakness that might better match the sword's length could perhaps be that it wouldn't be well-suited to more lightfooted styles of fighting, or is too heavy for certain species?

Also, could you add all the remaining applicable weaknesses from the blade sub? I think the ones missing are that it ruptures sensitive eardrums (you could intensify this if you wanted, too, as this sword is bigger and would perhaps have a greater effect) and that Bith cannot use it.

This sentence needs to be edited. As it stands, this submission is a catch all for countering just about every restricted material on the board. And while I understand that this is based off of similar technology of a previous submission, the inherent statement included in the strength above goes above and beyond what is considered passable by factory standards as they are.

• Please edit the statement to read the weapon having the potential to inflict damage to various reinforced metals, such as those listed.
• Please also include a clause at the base of the submission that clearly states that this weapon is not a guarantee of damage inflicted on an opponent, and that all damage taken is subject to the other writer's acceptance and degree of acceptance.

These are all high-quality materials. Personally, I am not comfortable with the fact that this is a "cut all weapon." I understand that the Blade of Sorrows was previously approved, but that submission had been previously second-chanced and the production value dropped down from Mass production to semi unique after the Omnibreaker had been reported for abuse.

I understand precedence, we have plenty of amazing items that members have made. However, the factory from now on will be maintaining a consistent review of every submission based on balanced strengths, weaknesses, and feasibility on each stand-alone submission.

These weaknesses are more fluff than weaknesses.

So you can wear gloves to protect yourself from the cryoban blowing back to help with the cold? That isn't a solid weakness.

Ruptures sensitive eardrums / Unusable by Bith -- How is this playable? This is actually a linked weakness if this is the case, but it isn't a solid one at that.

A heavy hilt? How is a heavy hilt a weakness? Sasori mesh in the submission states: " superior platform for ultra lightweight mesh."

And vulnerable to the Blades of sorrow's cutting power? Your characters own the company that produces and manufactures the Blade of Sorrows. How is this a weakness?

EMP/ Ion weapons weakness? Elaborate on what happens when it is hit by an EMP or an Ion weapon. What happens to the cutting power? Does it just turn into a regular sword without the capabilities to cut higher grade items?

3. Add in additional solid weaknesses from the materials of Sasori Mesh

Here are some recommendations based on what I have read through the materials weaknesses that you can flesh out.

1. The mesh requires a constant connection to the force for its non-physical abilities to function. On worlds or in areas where that connection can be disrupted the protective qualities of the wintrium are all that remain.

2. The mesh does not protect from sound with sonic attacks and disruptors that can disrupt the molecules of the mesh as well as equipment to shave off layers of it and quickly get to who is wearing it.
